Ramada by Wyndham Vandalia

Located close to a Pilot truck plaza off the main interstate. Great place to rest. Coffee ready by 5 am : ) has a guest coin laundry room on the 1st floor, a gym, and a few spaces for semi truck parking in the back or those hauling larger loads of goods. U-shaped entrance/exit. Lovely seating areas in the main foyer. Night personnel was friendly!

the hotel was very clean, and smelled fresh from the moment I entered the lobby. Everything was in good order. IT is convenient to the Interstate and downtown, but far enough away from both to be peaceful.

We like this Ramada! It is situated on our route heading west and we have stopped there many times. It is reasonable and very comfortable. The staff works at helping insure a nice stay. Vandalia is a cool little town as well.

I have stayed here numerous times. Clean, safe, well lit parking lot and check-in is usually very quick. I am not employed here and know no-one that works here, just a candid review. Price is usually about $50.00 less than the Holiday Inn.

The room was wonderful. Spacious, clean, the bed was so comfortable. Very nice place, really loved the way the lobby looked with the staircase.

A wonderful place to stay I come in about 8:30 or so and got checked in by some cranky women then I put my stuff in my room and it was shift change and I believe her name is Ruth she was very pleasant and welcoming to me made my night better!! 5 stars for Ruth

Really friendly and did a great job. Went the extra mile for you and one of the best motels. One of the best motels that I've stayed at.

The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, and it is quiet. The emoyees are the backbone of any establishment and the ladies that I have encountered here make you feel like the most important person to ever walk thru the door. We will definitely stay here again.

We booked the room as a weekend get away when we decided that we were going to come back very soon. The staff was super sweet and Robin was super funny and great to talk to! Definitely coming here for all of hotel visits!

We went for a very much loved one's funeral 8/7/22 it was so hard as most funerals are, but this hotel took one of our worries away as it was easy and quick checking in and out! Not to mention their pool was open and nice! We tried staying at another hotel in town this past weekend 8/14/22 and have decided that we will be coming back to Ramada from now on!!!

The woman who greeted me at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were pleasant and clean although the room was decorated kind of plain. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room and both worked well. I didn't use the tv. Water pressure in the shower was great. The free breakfast was ok. I didn't really care much for the taste of the waffles. There was a dispenser with batter for guests to make their own. There was also, bread, bagels, milk, cereal, butter, peanut butter, jelly and other things in addition to juice and folgers coffee, which was good. Was worth the price I paid. I'd definitely stay there again.

Very personable, helpful. Changed room to accommodate our inability to climb steps. Were there to serve their guests.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Lobby needs a little remodeling, hallways could use attention but it is obvious there has been money spent on the rooms.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location from the highway and not noisy either. Breakfast was very good and even earlier than posted. A real treat!

We needed a 1 night stay and Ramada had the cheapest deal. It's pretty much what you think of when thinking about a Ramada. Place looks a bit dated, the pool is in bad need of a repainting, but it's worth the price.

My husband and I stop overnight at this Motel on our way to visit family 2 or 3 times a year. We have found very attentive The rooms always very clean . The breakfast is good and a variety of choices. We plan to go back again on our next trip☺

This hotel really saved us at our hour of need. They squeezed us in at the last minute after a long day of driving. They have excellent accommodations and very comfortable beds. Staff was very nice and very clean rooms. Highly recommended.

The room was very clean, there is a microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator in the room, and there are plenty of towels to shower with and all. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, they had a nice variety of things. Fruit, waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, toast, you name it, they probably had it! The people at the front were very polite and overall my fiancée and I feel this hotel deserves five stars!

We checked in @ 2 in the morning, there was this very nice and professional woman wroking, she made my stay awesome & simple! The facility is so cozy, and there wasn't that foul hotel/motel oder! My husband, my daughter, myself and our dog all loved it! Not to mention a very nice room (big, clean, microwave,fridge, more than enough towels!) With our pitbull all for under 100 a night! Would certainly stay at this establishment again!
