Cards and Comics Central

This store has a great selection of Pokémon cards! We purchased various booster packs and almost each one had a hit. The best ones were Rainbow Machamp Vmax, Necrozma V, Mimikyu V, Great Tusk Full Art, Octillery Trainer Gallery, and other holos

They packed my Beast Kingdom Egg Attack Floating BB-8 so it would not get damaged. Thank you for my mint star wars BB-8 I will be a returning customer and will recommend to friends.

I can only speak on the MTG cards. They had a lot of really old packs. I'm talking reeeaaallll old. Singles, sleeves, boxes mats, biders etc. It's a place to buy, not a place to play. For sure a cool place though.

Kind of a weird setup. We weren't allowed inside, the owner came to the door and helped us through a little makeshift window. It was weird, but the service was wonderful. He was very nice and patient. We will return.

Fair prices, friendly service, good quality

There is no better card store in SF than Cards and Comics Central. Their staff is top notch, giving advice and information as it pertains to me and my needs.

They are doing curbside service during COVID and it's been very cool. Prices are affordable too!

This place has earned a customer for life. You won't find a better spot!

I got my first Hot Toys figure from them a couple of weeks ago and had been there only a couple of times prior but they have shown already that they are truly fantastic. Since there are sooo many high priced figures on the wall to choose from I felt uneasy at first asking to see one but was immediately made comfortable after they showed me one and the employee himself asked if there was anymore I wanted to see. Even though I wasn't purchasing anything that day in particular he took the time to get a ladder and bring down a few figures to look at. Ace customer service!

In my opinion this is the best card store in the city to buy sell and trade with. The have awesome staff that is always friendly and helpful. They have great prices on both packs and singles and offer very good prices when buying or trading. They are such a awesome store to go to for any magic the gathering player

This shop is awesome...!!!
They stock vintage stuff from back in the day as well as stuff from Japan and new stuff as well.
Hard to find Robotech/Transformer first gen
They have it all this is definitely a nerd Paradise !
But oh my God are they expensive but they're expensive for a reason...
They have stuff you're just not going to find in normal stores.

$100 bill..... because you're going to want to buy everything !

Their selection is UNBELIEVABLE! They have everything from vintage comics and toys to the really expensive collectible figures from Sideshow and Hot toys. The staff is really nice and very helpful.

If you can only go to one comic book store in your lifetime, GO TO THIS ONE!!!

Love this place went there today to fine Godzilla figures and they had so much to choose from . I can't wait till we can go in to shop . Every time I am looking for hard to find toys we go here. And came all the way from Bay Point.

If you're into collectible card games, comics or other pop culture items, this is the place for you. But be prepared by saving up a lot of money, because there is a very wide selection of items to choose from. For my particular situation, they had an expensive item I wanted to buy in storage. The item was not on display, but I was eventually able to buy the expensive item. The place may seem cramped on the inside, but the customer support by the store staff is helpful and excellent. The only drawback is that from the outside, a person can't tell it is a comic and collectibles store unless he or she knows what they are looking for and actually looks at the window displays(there is a lit-up Cards and Comics Central store sign and various pop culture items on visual display). The store's exterior is very nondescript. But once you enter inside, you will have an experience of a lifetime.

My son called yesterday and today we visited and discovered they have no in-store shopping yet. He was able to get several marvel card packs after standing in a short line before being served at the front door ☺.

This place is about as close as you can get to amazing and perfect and the best place for magic cards I have ever seen!!! I Highly recommend this store, when I visit the Bay Area I will come again. The clerk was amazing he recommended me some cool cards and was extremely friendly.

I love this comic book store. All their figures and collectibles give me a reason to bring my kids in and buy for Daddy! Joe's Ice Cream, next door, is certainly part of the enjoyable package deal. Yo Joe!!

I cannot speak highly enough of my visit and purchasing experience. They were patient, incredibly helpful, and went the extra mile with a bag helping me to carry my purchases home, and even tips on the getting back to the bus (38R near 14th Ave, fyi).

Excellent service. The guy was hella friendly and patient with me when I was unsure on what I wanted. I ended up a touch short and he was cool with it. I'll bring all my card and comic business here from now on

The wonderful folks; employees and owner of Cards And Comics Central, are some of the nicest, friendly, and welcoming, not to mention educated and caring people, that at least I have come in contact with, since I don’t know when!
And these days; acknowledging the impact of COVID 19 respectfully, there are a lot of “Grumpy, bad mooded “ individuals roaming in the work force. ( But at least they have Jobs to go to.)
This amazing Comic book and Cards trading/selling place thrives of plentiful and superb, rare memorabilia, second to none.
Located right off of Geary between 18th and 19th Ave in the City by the bay.
San Francisco was smiling on us, on this day. And our shopping, exploring, trading and selling needs where satisfied above and beyond!

My favorite comic book shop in the city! Freaking awesome selection for Heroclix, Magic the Gathering, action figures, busts/sculptures/figurines, and new/old comics! Which are the reasons I go here. Staff is really knowledgeable and helpful! Checkout process is a bit confusing every time because they always seem to be busy whenever I go in, but I guess busy is a good thing for a comic book store :-)
