A very small store for the serious anime- Japanese manga type figurines/ models and other collectables and some lower cost stuff for kids/ collectors on a budget.
It's one of the few I know in the general bayarea that specializes in the trade and one the few that offer some of the original Japanese heroes collectable stuffing around SF

Awesome store!! It’s like a museum of all of these great Kaiju and Sentai dioramas. It’s crazy to think that the owner has made all of these themselves! I was really impressed, and enjoyed looking at all of the ultra man, Godzilla, and Kamen Rider models. They have some gotcha items for sale, but they have done a good job identifying which one you will get in the box. Overall highly recommend.

Note: This is a VERY SPECIFIC kind of store. These are plastic figures taken to the level of fine art. I absolutely love to come in here and just look at the level of fine detail that the artist is able to achieve.
Think of it as Woot Bear but much older and specifically focused on Kaiju and horror movies. So if you want to walk away with a one of a kind piece that you're going to display in a case, this is for you. Even if you're not buying, I'd recommend just dropping in to have a look, as there's very few places in the world like this.

Pretty awesome boutique toy store. Focus mainly on Godzilla and similar hard to find high end toys. Lots of Hot Toys also. Friendly staff

Amazing. Lovely people running the store and much to learn (and buy 😬). Make sure you go if you’re any kind of fan of collectible toys. A gem, and apparently been there over 30 years 💪🏻

Been visiting since '92. Great selection of Tokusatsu toys, figures & sci-fi anime plastic models not found anywhere else.

Very helpful when looking for a hard to find item. The last store standing for Japanese Scifi collectibles.

I just love this place

This is has got to be the BEST toy store in San Francisco, and by BEST I mean, pure collectibles. Listen up! I've read all the negative butt hurt comments below and can guarantee you that those are written by softies that do not know the difference between their homebodied junk action figures from a museum piece that will resonate through the ages.

This store is filled with real collectibles that the likes of Guillermo Del Toro would truly appreciate. This store is alive, open and living. Every figure within this realm of reality is especially cared for, so much so that it speaks the true spirit of art that breathes life into these figures. They are true collectibles for true collectors. Varying from very hard to find and affordable gashapons and vinyl figures, to the most rare and unique pieces that were either hand made or are sought after legendary masterpieces. Vintage out of production collectibles that were once thought to be gone are very much alive. Every step through the store from one end of a wall to the other resonates a mighty draconic heartbeat of these living collections.

With the essence of the spirit of the artist and era undeniably surging life in these valuables as they stare back at you with their own story. Well aged collectibles that may have even seen the turn of time before you were born. Surviving masterpieces that live on for the younger generations to enjoy. Newborn legends that were masterfully crafted to be raised with you and your forgoing adventure, not just as a collector, but as a persevering witness to the evolution of art and culture.

Collections range from the most affordable rare collectible to the most valuable pieces of Tokusatsu and Sci-Fi art and history, conversing among each other in harmony as they are arranged presentably, waiting to be bought and cherished.

Truly witnessing this wonderful shop of mystery and history today made me realize that collecting really isn't about hording pretty factory made collectibles, but rather, it is about keeping something you will forever be fond of, made by pure and imaginitive minds to have a lasting lifetime existence with the great purpose of inspiring you to be in your purest form.

There is a sense of care and responsibility in these collectibles that tell you that life's satisfaction is not about having everything, but is about having that one or few companions who know your sincerity and hard work in earning its ownership-along with the spirit of time, and the minds that created this inanimate, yet powerfully inspirited masterpiece.

When you come to this shop, pureheartedly, you will come to accept that you can't simply buy everything just cause you want to, but because you are ready to and have the might and responsibility to carry the story down to the next generation. Certainly, I thought to myself, I don't want to just buy what I like simply cause of the drive...Rather, I want to really work hard for it, by aiming higher as an individual, and be worthy of attaining it with me as a whole and not fragmentedly. Visiting this store has taught me a lot, as I am an artist as well. I can truly say that this store is blessed with the mighty heart of a true collector and a powerful artist.

To the store owner who I enjoyed discussing the historical and artistic value of these wonderful items, and to the store attendant who patiently and wholeheartedly assisted me with looking for what I wanted, I would like to say thank you for this wonderful inspiration. I will come back and shall make sure to get the two most meaningful items I wanted to get. Until then. Have a wonderful evening.

And to those negative haters out there, please educate and humble yourselves. This isn't a shop that's meant for your abusive behavior. Rather, it is a shop you should cherish as you cherish that reflection you see infront of the glass when you look at the item. If you can see that reflection of yours and humble yourself as a person, maybe you can truly learn to appreciate what's behind it and see its true value. Have a blessed day, everyone.

I've been around since the early 90s, and heroes club helped teach me more than what you can find on the net.

There are stages in one's life that really mold who you are.

deep in 1994, I met a guy in a taxi cab, and happened to mention I was into Godzilla and anime. He said, "have you ever been to hero's club"
NO
"I'm going to bring you there and not charge you"

Not only was his friendliness rewarded, but the guys at the register new I was a kid (maybe 14 at the time) and gave me information on how not to get screwed. They sold me a few bandaiis and I was happy.

***** 10 years later, I send my soon to be wife there, while visiting her friend. She emulates the same picture I had, with the ultra rare godzillasaurus mask, and sends it to me along with a wonderful mecha G toy. To know that this place happily accepted a generation gap is beyond business

It is business and passion try to find that on a website.
