Love it here ! I brought my dog and Angela was sweet ! We ate outside, so beautiful outside, I got the teriyaki beef with white rice and a veggie eggroll and water ! All delicious and fresh!! We will be back again!

LOVED this place!! The owner was super friendly, the food was fantastic, and service was prompt! It’s a smaller location, so they don’t cook in front of you, but the amazing fried rice/hibachi steak and reasonable price def made this place worth revisiting

Great little spot— husband and wife owned and operated. We felt like we were in their home. The food was fresh, clean (not greasy) and so flavorful. My husband enjoyed his spicy chicken and steak entree and I loved the honey chicken. We had dumplings and egg rolls both delicious. Great spice and presentation. Happy to find this place!

I've been dining at Hibachi Guys for a little over a year now,Hands down the best in Downtown Roanoke VA. The freshest vegetables,and GREAT portions for the money. Money the prices are great for what you get! I definitely CHALLENGE YOU to try them once you will be hooked! God bless y'all!

Just moved to Roanoke. Had been looking for good Chinese since the move. Was walking around downtown Roanoke and came across hibachi guys and gave it a try. It is SO good. Portions are huge. Most entrees come in three sizes and the small size gives enough food both myself and my boyfriend to take home. The meat is very flavorful especially the beef.
The owners are so nice and obviously have a lot of pride in their restaurant. Both are very eccentric and fun.
Restaurant dues close a little early so I recommend calling in the evening if you want to give it a try but I definitely would!!! …omg the coconut shrimp!!!

My husband and I stayed in Roanoke overnight on our way to Hilton Head. We walked around downtown and checked out the farmers market. Decided to check out the City Market. I chose to order our lunch from here after looking at the many other options. The food was so fresh and delicious. We shared coconut shrimp and chicken teriyaki with fried rice. The coconut shrimp was the best I have ever eaten. The yum yum sauce was awesome and the portions were very generous! We will definitely eat here again when we return to Roanoke! Thank you for the great service and amazing food 😊

Absolutely delicious! I think that some of the negative reviews here are due to people maybe having gone to a different restaurant, because, at this restaurant, all the food is amazing and perfect. I will definitely be back, and I can't believe that I have not been here since they opened! Yum!

Omg! What a great "hidden" gem! I didn't know that this restaurant existed downtown.. but I'm glad I do.. now. The food is phenomenal. My daughter and I shared the big plate, which is definitely enough to split. We also had the dumplings, which are to die for! The food has great flavor and you can tell it is fresh. The owner is wonderful and made sure we enjoyed ourselves, even though we were the only ones dining in. Even though they were closed by the time we were finished, she still allowed us to make an order to go.. and with a smile on her face! She said the restaurant doesn't start putting things away until they know the customers are 100% happy! If only other restaurants were like that!!! Our family loves to support local, so we will definitely be making more stops in! Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food!

10/10 - Delicious!! I got the teriyaki chicken lunch special; great flavor, quick service and a good selection of items. Definitely will be back!

I'm from NYC Wow I mean I've had beef and white rice which is my favorite dish all over NYC, now I've been in Roanoke, VA for a little over a year this restaurant hibachi guy's they definitely have the best beef and white rice I've ever had great food fast service and excellent people. Thank you so much for your service definitely five stars 🤩 great place oh yeah almost forgot the large order of beef and rice was definitely enough for two people I highly recommend this place try it and enjoy.

Good but did you all change your rice? It had the texture of wheat rice

Good Food!!

We are in town to celebrate our Anniversary, and we were looking for a place to eat. We end up stopping here. The lady gave us some recommendations about the plates and the portion size. The teriyaki chicken was terrific, and the fried rice had an incredible garlic taste. The portions were more than enough to feed my whole family. For the amount of food, I found the price fair.

I just found this place while walking downtown. I had great service, and the food was out of this world! It was soooo good! I had the best coconut shrimp ever..... They had the best yum yum sauce too. They even sell it by the bottle. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Very reasonable prices for quality food. The orange chicken is the best in town and the rice had such an amazing flavor and perfect texture. This is a perfect lunch spot downtown!

It was amazing everything was homemade and it tasted great! Probably the best service I have ever had I don't say that a lot.. It was close to closing time and she didn't rush us or anything and we order to go food (for the next day). The food was perfect for me and my mom to split as well.
