Cute spot in the financial district. We walked in randomly from svn west convention center. Looking for something hot to drink on a gloomy day.

The ambiance was calm and simple on the eyes. Plenty of spots to sit and enjoy your drink. Server was very helpful and tried to keep up the pace even though he was alone.

I got the hot chocolate and avocado cucumber toast and both were good.

This is a nice, quiet place to work in the morning. I came here around 10am on a monday and it was pretty empty - I didn't have to wait in line and I got a bunch of work done. I got a mexican mocha or something - it was good, a little spicy? but still pretty sweet. I also got a free mochi pasty because I checked in on yelp. Also, I recommend not walking down 9th toward mission street to the 14 or 14r bus stop unless you really have to.

Really cute cafe with great drinks and snack options. I get an iced matcha with tiger syrup, they make it there and it’s super good. I also love that they have mochi options for snacks, butter mochi for me. Atmosphere is super cool, they spin vinyl records and there’s a few restaurants in the space too. Shout out to Uncle Tito’s bc that food is bomb! Definitely a regular spot for me

My kids and i are big fans! Beautiful space with lots of seating, amazing coffee and food, cool music and staff. Spam musubi, croissant, bacon cheddar butter mochi, parfait special, and mocha are my favorite items. Love Pixl Cat Coffee!

Love this hidden gem! Best Coffee! Best San Francisco Cafe! They just opened last week. They serve these amazing breakfast mochi’s (gluten-free) and have some rad specialty coffees. Best Latte!

Great vibe. Nice staff. Wifi and plenty of seating on weekend morning. Sweet spot to study. The matcha mochi cake was unique and very good. Loved it

Distinctive and friendly, a great independent shop. Shares space with three other nighttime concepts so plenty of seating during the day.

I am sitting in my hotel room eating what I think is the Ube white chocolate treat loosing my mind. I went to Pixlcat to grab a matcha. I was worried about the combination of milk with passion fruit purée but boy was I wrong and came back for another 2 hrs later. I’ll be back in the morning to grab more tasty treats and maybe 2 Island matcha’s. The poor guy working alone was probably churning out 40 drinks a hour with a great attitude. I will trek from anywhere in the city to grab a drink and pastry from Pixlcat! My new fav 🤤

This place is a vibe. Listen to vinyls, enjoy the vast art and rotating NFTs hung up around the place. Really good place to drop in and get in the groove, work on some side projects or just hang with friends. Coffee is really great. Pastries are also on point 🤙

Edit: march 2024. Butter mochi is amazing and great deal. Boba is great, chewy and delicious surprisingly for a place that doesn't just do boba. No stale boba. Good tea. Amazing deal 24 oz for 6.5 probably cheapest in the city and really good quality.

This spot has become my favorite coffee shop in the area. I think this place has the best latte in town and offers great milk alternatives. It’s become my favorite coffee shop to work from. They spin vinyls, have great natural light, friendly staff and great food! The breakfast sandwiches and mochi bites are soooo good too!

It's surprisingly good. The breakfast sandwich is delicious. The tiger cat coffee is unique but I like it too.

So delicious and they have breakfast mochi as well (gluten free!) highly recommend.

Found an awesome cafe near the Civic Center area, right near the entrance of the AVA condos. They serve coffee from Four Barrel, from espressos to lattes to cold brews, etc. I prefer hot coffee, so I got a drip and also ordered a butter mochi and matcha green tea mochi to pair with it, which were delicious and perfectly chewy.

Will definitely be back, they also have various pastries and a breakfast sandwich I want to try.

Favorite place to get coffee whenever I'm in SF. They always use fresh beans and dial in all the right settings to make a delicious cup. The superb service is also a plus. Make sure you try out their specialities, the dopo panna is their latest and greatest.

Pixlcat is a great coffee shop with the usual traditional brews and a whole slew of unique beverages to try out. A quiet, well designed interior and casually friendly staff. Great spot to check out in SOMA.
