Discount Tire

What lovely service and friendly staff! They were excellent at communicating about how much longer I’d be waiting, at various intervals of my visit. They also bent over backwards when they didn’t have the exact tires in stock that I’d purchased online and I’m incredibly happy with the snows I purchased. What a wonderful experience!!

I turned to the Discount Tire on Sprague when my tire went flat on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023. My dad and I went inside the shop and told the staff member the issue. He came outside right away and examined my tire that was flat. He found an obvious slash in the tire that was responsible for the flat. He explained that it was probably too big for a patch job but gave us an option if we wanted to go that route. I decided to purchase a new tire and he offered a comparable option to the tires I already had on my car for $150. I was relieved at that price. It took about two hours for my car to make it through the que and for the work to be done. The person who took my payment was kind and considerate. So far my car is driving great. Hopefully it won’t be for a long time, but I will definitely visit Discount Tire again when my vehicle tires need attention.

Peyton put some air in our tires and was efficient and so helpful. He informed me my tires are 10 years old (bummer) but recommened I come by sometime for some news ones! I have gotten air in my tires quite a few times (they arent doing too well lol) in the last couple months and he's the first to inform me of the age (we bought this car used last year)! Great, speedy, friendly service, and convenient location too.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received having my winter tires installed. These guys are fast, professional, super friendly and helpful. Aidin was excellent at arranging the installation and the guy who brought me my keys (20 minutes earlier than expected) was also so nice. They are working so hard and still take the time to be thorough and courteous. I so appreciate the great value and excellent service, as well as the confidence of knowing that when the snow comes, I'll be rocking new blizzaks all the way down Argonne to work.

So accommodating when I really needed it most!

I almost got into a car accident yesterday when it snowed pretty hard. I was very concerned about going into work the following day so I bought a set of tires that night (they were in stock) and called to see if I could get in first thing the next morning (despite them being booked out for weeks). The rep on the phone was so great and accommodating despite how busy I’m sure they are. I am now in the parking lot about to go in and am just so grateful that now I just need to be worried about others hitting me vs me hitting them😂 Such a blessing. Thanks for offering me peace of mind Discount! Oh, and they had this seasonal discount online where if I made and logged into an account, they’d give me $110 off my purchase. Costed me around $450 in total. As a broke college student, I am so grateful🙏

Edit: it looks like based on other reviews, not everyone gets to be as lucky as I got. Fair warning as others have had a hard time being able to get prompt appointments when needed.

Awesome job, even though they wer 20 minutes behind schedule, they were beyond kind and welcoming. Even hearing them having fun in the bays brought a smile to my face. We all get behind schedule, that's totally normal. And these guys deal with every challenging customer with grace and a smile on their faces. Thank you for all that you guys do. Good job GM for all your work improving the customer experience and being kind to your staff.

I got a new set of tires put in they were super friendly. It took them a little bit longer than they thought but they kept me updated and apologized. I would highly recommend going there but I suggest making an appointment or you may be waiting upwards of 6 hours depending on the day.

I have always come here they have helped me more then I can count. My friend from out of town came to spokane for a funeral and parked outside my house and random slashing of tires happend. (Never happened before) of course sidewall knife slash is not fixable so she had to get a new tire. Full coverage insured and they only cover if more then 250.00 total B.S. I was telling them that we both are broke and our best friend of about 35 yrs died of cancer only 48. The manager heard me and got on his computer and totally helped us out with a great deal. Got new tire and was finished in less then 20 min. Thank you discount tire for being compassion and empathy and understanding. Also for being human. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

I have never been more impressed with service before. All the guys that helped with my patch repair and then helped figure out why it was still leaking the next day, were amazing. They truly cared about doing a good job and triple checked their work. Everyone there has always been kind, professional, knowledgeable and fair. As someone about to have a baby, it meant the world to me to know they double check their work and care about the safety of their customers. I will always buy my tires at discount and always go there for any issues I have with my tires.

I have been a customer of Discount Tire for more than 20 years. Some locations are not the best. I went to one in Omaha Nebraska and was less than pleased they replaced my tire sensors on my 2008 Chevy HHR and they never worked right. We moved back to the Spokane area and I took my car to this location and what a great experience. They replaced my non working sensors for free and got me into a new set of tires for a very good price. I made an appointment and that made my wait less then an hour. I was going to start going somewhere else after my experience in Omaha, but I am a loyal customer now. Thanks to the valley location.

Every time I go here these people are really nice and try to accommodate my cars needs. Gage and Mike and EVERYONE idk your names ,are so reliable and FAST! Considering it's snow time and all. I just think you're RAD!

The people at Discount were extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I was assisted by the assistant manager and he was continually my point of contact through the process of ordering, setting the appointment and checking to be sure the end result was exactly what I wanted. There was an error made during install but they made it right the without the need for my input which increased my confidence in them. Fantastic service.

Andrew, Chris, and Taylor at the Spokane Valley Store made a frustrating situation much better. They made accommodations and were incredibly busy. Much appreciated. Definitely earned a continued customer and did right by the customer.

Awesome service sets this place apart. I've been coming here for years (ever since Les Schwab turned into a nightmare), these guys stole the show. Prompt and always helpful.

I had two flats repaired within a week, they were quick, courteous, and did a great job. If you schedule online it saves lots of time.

Fantastic experience...I purchased tires online (they were there the next day) and they got me right in to get them put on. Took less than an hour. Friendly staff...absolutely plan on going through the Spokane Valley Discount Tire going forward!

Apparently the alignment was out in our car; but we didn't notice till we tore through a set of tires after a 7,000 mile family road trip. We had to get tires and in a hurry, but we also had to get a 4 wheel alignment too. We called around to a lot of places and finally ended up back where we started with Discount Tire. Now previously we had had issue with Discount because getting in and out of that place for minor challenges like a tack in your tire a simple rotation, or just a tire pressure check was like the BOOK OF JOB--very tasking and time consuming. However, yesterday was different. Much different!
Since we use our vehicle for our side hustle we had to get this done in a day, we needed it done quickly and efficiently as possible cause we had to get an alignment as well (the reason we had to get tires in the first place. We called Christian (who is highly personable and customer service oriented) at Discount Tire in Spokane Valley. We wanted a specific tire (Michelin Defender, I highly recommend it), he said they had 8 in stock and he was able to hook us up with a promotion and a military discount and said to bring it by and drop it off it would take a bit. We dropped it off at 1230 fully expecting it to take until closing time (6PM), but we had it back by 1:45 PM, which was extraordinary)!
Working with personal people, who understand customer service, and are able to put the 'I into thou' was what made this particular event extraordinary. I am noticing a theme! When you have people, regardless of where they work, who are able to put themselves into the shoes of the customer, that customer has an extraordinary experience. Now truth be told and it seldom is. I have had issues with big box tire stores as I mentioned before, but in this case because of Christian's exceptional customer service and his ability to go above and beyond to get me sorted out quickly and efficiently, he earned our business, earned this review, and brought great credit upon himself and his employer!
Great work Christian and Discount Tire of Spokane Valley for hiring great service personnel like Christian whose tremendous customer service puts your organization TOP OF MIND for business potential (when phenomenal customer service meets opportunity). Highest Recommendation!
