The fish center has an excellent expert working. She was very knowledgeable about the fish and the tank I learned a lot considering I went in there knowing nothing.

While their staff isn't always present to help, when they are they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They have the specialty dog food from purina that we need for our pup. And there new and upgraded fish tanks look amazing. My son always looks forward to seeing the reptiles and fish

Went there knowing literally nothing about taking care of fish, but I wanted to get a tank. One of the associates, Alexa (I think may have forgotten their name) was extremely knowledgeable! Shout out they really know what they're doing here

I was so very impressed with the help that was given to me for free! The lady that was cleaning out the reptile bins stopped and helped my son and I out! The info she supplied was OUTSTANDING!!! She started with a disclaimer that you should ALWAYS get 2 opinions, then she provided us with an extensive amount of knowledge! She helped us hand pick out all of the supplies that we would need! Then it wasn’t even very expensive at all! Overall very happy with the help! 10/10 will be back with my family and friends for all of our pets needs! Didn’t get the leopard gecko from them but they definitely helped our little “Zotty” out! Thank you Petco of Spokane Valley!!

I ordered on-line and it came from Petco but I got the cutest little book called 'Sloth Yoga' with philosophical quotes and a sloth in yoga poses and I absolutely LOVE it! Later on I bought 3 harnesses and 3 leashes for my cats and my 'Elvira' kitty loves to go out with me anytime but 'Metoo' and 'Trouble' are almost terrified of it and would rather play with their leashes inside toys, Lol. Their stores are full of whatever you're looking for and their people are always great and very helpful.

This was an amazing experience for us when we were looking for a certain dog treat for my dog when she was in a cone (it's treats you put pills in for dogs that won't eat the medicine they need) they didn't have it but the cashier was amazing and helped us look around and was kind

They had our dog food in stock when we couldn't find it elsewhere. That is always something I am grateful for when our fur babies are out of food. 🙂

I’ve used Petco grooming for years in different cities and I am always pleased! This past weekend both my dogs had Andy! My big boy has pitbull skin (iykyk lol) and we did the skin sooth package and he looks amazing! Skin and coat are hydrated and soft! My little dog needs the shedding package with her double coat and she looks great! Would definitely request Andy in the future! Thanks for making my furbabies look and feel good Andy!

Great service when asking questions about products! Friendly staff helped with an anxious dog. Busy but not slow.

The groomers have a lot of experience and did a fantastic job grooming my dog. He hated his tail groomed and they worked with him. I could not say thank you enough.

I was looking for a Sherpa airline approved travel doggie bag. I went to 2 locations. The South Hill location was really helpful. I asked about our travels and gave our dog a couple of treats.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The gal who helped us pick out a dwarf hamster was very knowledgeable and went so far as to pick up each available dwarf so we could get a better look and gauge how amenable they were to being handled. A great experience overall.

Took my Labradoodle for his first ever professional grooming. The staff listened to my concerns regarding how he is in new environments and how he is timid and shy with new people and experiences. They took excellent care of him. We're patient and scheduled it for a day when they weren't busy which helped his nerves tremendously. When I went to pick him up, he not only looked amazing but he was comfortable and happy. And by the looks of his smile after his grooming, I will say he is a 100% satisfied customer

Nice employees very knowledgeable ! I recently took my two dogs to be groomed one a two year old 50 lb. Border Collie the other a 11 year old 50lb. Lab/Pitt Bull mix with a bad leg neither one has ever been to the groomer Jennifer assured me she would take care of my dogs when I picked up my babies they were so happy they didn't want to leave anyway my dogs are absolutely beautiful top job extremely happy and highly suggest trying petco's grooming department 😁

Overall great experience! The groomer was very kind & took great care of our aging Goldie! He looked like a younger pup when he was done! The salon is clean, as is the rest of the store & I was able to get him in when I needed the appt. My boys loved seeing the other animals too! And a very nice associate helped them play with the cat & see the lizards, which they loved!

I came here to grab some raffle prizes for Pet Savers from my work. The manager and the employees were so helpful and kind. The manager went out of his way to come and have a conversation with me and my daughter. Also their fish tanks were full and they had some cool crustaceans!

So I wasn't actually going here for myself. I went with my mother on her mission to find a comparable dog food for her specific brand had been discontinued and frankly in my opinion completely over priced/ over-rated. She'd talked to the manager at the valley location about coming in and he would help her find one comparable to what she had been using. The manager who she'd talked I had talked with was not there at the time we went in, which was approximately 6 PM on a weekday. So as we were looking around confused and wondering if we hadnt come at the wrong time... not sure where to go and who might work there that was available (they were quite busy at that time). We were approached by a very friendly woman who also was a manager there named Shauna. I have never been so impressed (pet store, time of day, NO ONE TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR JOB) especially lately. This being in any business I have visited at least a good 80% of the time in this past year especially. HOWEVER SHAUNA'S IMMEDIATE smile and genuine kindness, her attention to the details of what my mother was asking for and making sure to ask her questions about her dogs so that she could inform her of all the Choices/Prices showing how much she truly cares for the customer and their furry family members. She was professional, honest, informative, thoughtful, really took the time to listen/ask questions (even though they were very busy), saved my mom money, didn't try brand pushing, and really just all over make it a great experience! She went beyond and truly showed that she really cares about the customers but most importantly overall, each and every animal/pet/family member whom are receiving one or more of their many products. She is more than qualified and takes pride in her job and cares about what it is she is there to do and making sure to have every customer leave satisfied! *** OH and my mother can even return the food if it's not working for her dogs down to half the bag gone... SHE CAN STILL BRING IT BACK!!
