Nob Hill Foods

Curbside pickup is such a time saver. The shoppers do a fabulous job and Nob Hill has a great selection. The store brand is comparable to national brands, but at better prices. I've been using this service for a few years now and plan on continuing in the future. Edited 3/2024 to add: the service is still good, but the online ordering has gotten convoluted and time consuming because headquarters decided to 'update' the website. I'm still shopping and using the service because the benefits outweigh the user unfriendly issues.

Very good store and friendly staff, The only thing lacking and that is the same in most grocery stores in the Bay Area is a good food hot bar. All these stores have all the ingredients and products to make good food but most of them make lousy food.

I found everything that I needed. The cashier who checked me out was very nice & helpful. He put all the items(that fit) into a sturdy brown paper bag with handles upon my request to do so. I found a few items on clearance, which was nice. The clearance area is at the back of the store by the restrooms.

People are always so polite and friendly here. The store is clean, neat and orderly.

The bakery makes the best whipped cream cake filled with strawberries. We go back every year for the birthday cake and this year ordered party trays. This was the best price and easiest thing to go for a party.

This has been my favorite place to shop for years and it has gone through ebbs and flows with service levels. During the pandemic I think it is fair to say they hit their all time low and it was very difficult for them to provide consistent services and products. Since then, the have moved past these issues and are back to their traditionally high levels of service. Love their current staff and can't say enough good things about all of them!

Employees stay here for years and local residents often shop here.

I like the atmosphere at Nob Hills market. It's got all the items a larger store has despite itssmall size. They also carry some high end grocery items you wouldn't expect a smaller store to have. It's staff is friendly and helpful when you can't find what you're looking for.

This used to be our go-to grocery store (since our apartment was right across the street)… still pop in when in the area, primarily for the nice bakery breads (their sourdough, olive loaves, and roasted garlic breads are very good!) But they also have a better selection of produce than our local Safeway does (and better prices, for the most part, too)

Clean, great produce, and excellent customer service. Nob Hill always has what I want and need. It feels like a small town neighborhood market, but has the flair and style of a mainstream grocery store. Wonderful store!

I feel like I over look the Nob Hill on this side of town. It's layout is a tad bit different, well a lot different than Raley's on the other side of town. Their service is outstanding, every, single time. They are always stocked, even on $5 Mondays (my fave!!). They have self check out and a little floral "dept." by the registers. There are two entrance/exits. They also have a deli and bakery.

The best cakes in the bakery department. I highly recommend the fruit tarts. The clerks are helpful and friendly.

The store was great got everything I needed, on the way to check outeven lift a finger to help. I lost a case of water from the bottom of my basket, they are heavy and awkward. I had some trouble getting it back in the bottom again. I fellow stocking the shelves was there he wanted to go down my lane he stood there watching me strugle wouldn't even lift a finger to help me. It didn't ruin my day, It could have been a little brighter knowing someone would help a stranger.

At a time when other grocery stores seem to be carrying fewer and fewer things, Nob Hill always seems to have what I'm looking for! For a relatively small store, they seem to carry a more diverse selection of items than anyone else in town (better than Safeway, Raleys, While Foods, Target, or Lucky). I also love that Nob Hill has a more local, intimate feel and the employees are always so friendly.

I love this grocery store. Sadely, I was a Walmart shopper before due to pricing and the one stop shop aspect but the lines, people, quality just stressed me out. Nob Hill is the exact opposite. The staff is friendly and helpful, never long lines, I don't have to ring up and bag my own groceries and the prices are not high like you would expect! Some items are actually cheaper than Walmart! It's clean too!

A little bit out of my price range but i stop here once in a while to grab those chocolate croissants. Today i got new york steaks on sale so i decided to buy enough to last a few months. The butcher was nice and spoke english and spanish. He got me my very large order sliced and packaged to perfection in half the time he said it would take. Even loaded it in my cart! Thank you sir! He didnt even know i was handicapped, was just being helpful. Made my day!

Raley's, Bel-Air, and Nob Hill are all owned by the same company, but they still manage to have their own distinct personalities. Over my life, I've had each of them as my neighborhood market. Nob Hill stands out to me. Recommend!

Angelica is the Lady who prepared two magnificent sandwiches for my friend and me. The bread was perfect and the tuna salad she used was some of the best I've had as of late. I enjoy shopping at Nob Hill late in the evening during there challenging times. Very few customers in the store and stock levels still satisfactory. Staff is helpful and responsive.
