I went to the pharmacy at CVS because I was in a lot of pain and today being Sunday I could not reach my doctor. The lady pharmacist took me to the isle and showed me the best over the counter remedy for my issue. She was kind and helpful. In a time of fast, and non connection service, I was impressed by her kindness and willingness to help! CVS is my to go to store for medical needs and other in home care items. Thank you!

The pharmacy has gotten much better with answering their phone and everyone has been wonderful.

The pharmacy NEVER answers their phone. I have tried calling several times and I simply think they just don't answer as a policy. No matter how long you wait (i have waited about 45 minutes once) they won't answer.

Switched all my scripts to this one after having multiple issues with the other one on same street. Been close to a year now and all my scripts are ready on time. Very helpful pharmacists too.

My experience tells me CVS is the most EXPENSIVE chain pharmacy/over-the-counter (OTC) med store that I have shopped at in Napa. Walmart is the CHEAPEST priced pharmacy/OTC med store. However, CVS' high level of customer service & parking convenience is far superior in comparison to Walmart.

But, CVS has a very good Rewards Program that offers members special pricing discounts on occasions. Walmart DOESN'T have a rewards program, AT ALL.

So, this is how I decide when to buy at CVS & Walmart. After many bad experiences buying my prescription medications from Walmart, I decided to purchase 100% of my prescription meds from CVS. With my drug insurance, I found the prices were closely similar & CVS' pharmacy offered superior/reliable customer service than Walmart.

When I need OTC meds, if I can buy this item equally or even slightly higher than Walmart, by using CVS' Rewards dollars or discount offers, I WILL buy my OTC med at CVS. If I have NO Rewards dollars/discount offers from CVS available to me, I WILL NOT buy my OTC med at CVS. Instead, I will buy my OTC med at Walmart. CVS' Rewards Program is the SINGLE FACTOR that makes buying OTC meds from CVS competitive with Walmart's daily low price.

In summary, CVS' pharmacy offers reliable & superior customer service than Walmart. So look to see if CVS pharmacy will work for you. Also, join CVS' Rewards Program & use it to offset CVS high OTC meds. If you CAN'T buy CVS OTC meds at a DISCOUNTED price, go directly to Walmart & purchase your OTC meds from Walmart.

I'm glad I wasn't in urgent need of the pain medication prescription I stopped in to fill. On my original visit around noon I was told that I'd be texted in around an hour or two when my prescription was ready. By the next morning I hadn't been called so I called the pharmacy and got an automated answer keyed to my telephone number that my prescription was ready for pickup. So, obviously they had my correct number, but had failed to call me. Strike One. I should have called earlier to check. Ball One.
I went to the pharmacy and was third in line (Not too bad I said to myself) and only waited about 5 minutes before I could approach the pick up counter. At that point the pharmacist told me it would be just a minute. I then got to stand there and watch her open and label a large number of pill bottles ( As it turns out 16 bottles ) for what she called a large order. At that point I had to remind myself that I wasn't currently in any pain and that this was just an annoying example of poor customer service. Perhaps a staffing issue? Strike Two
After a slight delay due to a computer connection problem, I had my prescription in hand and was able to leave. Good news: pain meds don't cost much these days. Long story short, I guess I'll just leave the count at Ball 1 and Strike 2. I didn't blow up at the pharmacist(tech?) because it's obvious the it wouldn't solve a systemic problem at this pharmacy. I just won't be going back.

As a physician I find this pharmacy in particular extremely difficult to communicate with. I have to call myself frequently for trivial clarifications. Poor knowledge base and not able to work well with insurances. Sweet people, but not up to the standards I trust for my patients.

Lazy pharmacy tech refused to check how much my medication would cost with my new insurance over the phone. Says it's easier for her if she has the card infront of her so I have to come in person. We'll that's fine but the reason I want to know the price is so I can determine if I can even afford the prescription right now. Why would I waste time and gas money for a potentially fruitless visit?

One of the worst experiences I've had at any CVS store or just store in general. Please avoid coming here if you can. I would give this store a 0 if I could. My sisters and I stopped here quickly for a snack but left immediately after realizing that we were being followed not by one but two employees. Please keep in mind that my sisters and I were the only non-white people at this store. Other customers (white) in the store were not being bothered by any staff at all. After we had walked out we were followed by one of the employees. Most uncomfortable and disgusting experience I've had here. We will never visit this store again.

Me and my younger sisters came here to buy snacks and the employees here kept following us around and wouldn’t leave us alone. I thought maybe they would do this to all customers but I noticed they only did us (three Mexican girls) and not the white men and women in the store as the same time as us. They would pretend to be working on the aisle nearest to us and thought we wouldn’t notice. I have plenty of experience in retail and know how things work, I KNOW what they were doing. They only confirmed my suspicions by sending another employee after us. How close minded and shelled do you have to be to he intimidated by three young girls? I told my sisters to put everything they were planning on buying back on the shelves out of anger and told them we should go to Nob Hill instead; to that we were greeted by an employee following us outside. I am extremely disgusted and offended by the behavior we had to experience from these older women when we had done nothing wrong. This all happened only twenty minutes ago. I mean it when I say we will never be returning.

World worst store. Their ATM machine didn’t work while I was trying to withdraw some cash and they couldn’t care less. The cashier called the manager on the floor who never came to help or see what was going on. Told me repeatedly when O found her myself, she couldn’t do anything about and that wasn’t her business, even though the machine is in her store and probably pays rent for it. I’ll never return to this location one.

The worst customer service ever experienced! They do not answer their Pharmacy telephone! I was just on hold for 25 minutes. When you are the only person in line, they completely ignore you and go about their business as if you were not even there. Absolutely the worst! I am going to use a different Pharmacy from now on.

I wish I could give 0 stars ! I went in yesterday to buy makeup and both price machines weren’t working. So I asked the cashier KINDLY if she could check prices for me in some prices on like 6 items and she scanned one and said do you want it or not WHEN I CLEARLY SAID I NEEDED TO KNOW PRICES FIRST TO SEE WHAT I WOULD LEAVE AND TAKE. Then I asked can I get prices and then I’ll decide and she said YOU WANT IT OR NO IF YOU ARENT GOING TO BUY ANYTHING MOVE ALONG ! So I was like are you serious !!!! Point is she Is a part time supervisor which NO CUSTOMER SERVICE experience she obviously HATES her job!!! So she shouldn’t be working there !!!! Then I asked her for her name and she was like move along it doesn’t matter what my name is ! Idc what u say they won’t do anything !!! I use to work at this cvs and CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EVERYTHING TONUS !! Shity store now with that kind of “help” hahahah

SUPER S-L-O-W service!!! It takes me nearly a half hour waiting for the pharmacist to explain what the doctor already told me about my medication. Okay, I get that it’s a state law for the pharmacist, but then hire more pharmacists! The wait is ridiculous!!!
