Maximum Martial Arts University

My 10 yr. old son has been enrolled at Maximum Martial Arts University for 19 months. He is enrolled in Kickboxing and Taekwondo. Mr Castillo and staff are instilling the same morals that we believe in, all staff and instructors are very professional. My son trains here five nights a week and considers everyone family.

Ever since my child started training here, he has gained so much confidence and the improvement to his balance and coordination has been incredible. He has also learned important self-defense skills that he will be able to carry with him for the rest of his life. The instructors are fantastic and help each individual student to become the best version of themselves.

Justin and the staff at maximum martial arts are truly incredible. Not only the practice they teach, all the extra benefits the students get from lessons in respect to the discipline that they bring to their daily lives is incredible. Highly recommend!

My son has been participating in the martial arts class at this facility for over a month. I am VERY satisfied with the program and the principles the kids learn not only in regard to self-defense, but lessons fostering character building. I have been able to see the confidence increase in my son. This program is amazing with amazing and respectful staff.

My child has increased his balance, coordination, strength, and confidence since he started practicing taekwondo at Maximum. The instructors are very detail oriented and helpful to the students. My child has learned important self defense skills.

Maximum is a fantastic place to train, discipline yourself, and acquire various skill sets, self defense, and positive mindsets. They are well organised, prompt, and extremely attentive towards the students. More than just your average martial arts school and worth every penny!

Maximum not only teaches taekwondo but also teaches kids to respect themselves and others and how to be champions in every aspect of their lives. My 8 & 12 year old have been here a year and we love it. Thank you!

Maximum is awesome! My kiddos can’t hardly wait for class! They do an exceptional job of weaving in leadership, respect, fighting and some grappling. They are true professionals and I recommend them to everybody of all ages!

Maximun Martial Arts University is a great place to bring you young one not only to get great training in many different martial arts but also good discipline tought by amazing instructors who want the best for them and for them to succeed not only in martial arts but as respectful people. If you are looking for a spot for your child to learn and grow this is the place you want them to be. The teachers are great to the students and want to help them learn everything they can. Many opportunities come from here if your child wants to futhur thier skills.

I have only been here 3 weeks but am very glad I chose this school. Mr. Castillo is a very patient and conscientious teacher and Mario is very helpful with the business side.

We signed our son up for hapkido and grapling a few months ago. He loves it. It has been a great confidence builder for him. The instructors are great and very patient with the students.

I have trained at multiple different places in town along with my family and I cannot say enough about the owner, staff, and facilities at this place. If you are looking for a place that stays true to morals and values as well as serving the community then this is the place. Most dojangs are in it for the money, this place teaches discipline, respect, and stands behind the true art form. Going to the mall for martial arts sounds like a playground for "learning". Save your time and money and come to the realest place in town. This place isnt just for kids either. Adults, Teens, older adults as well get a great workout. This place helped me get my postpartum body right with their kickboxing classes. No need to be intimidated walking into these classes. Grab some gloves and bring some water because you will feel like a rockstar after just one workout!!!

My kiddos first class she was NOT looking forward to. She was already tired and grumpy but the class stole her heart. She felt accomplished and was already asking about the next class. I love that the teachers came over asap if they saw one of the students needed help on technique or anything else. They do a pretty rigorous warm up and looks great to keep kids in good shape! Nothing too much though and loved the playlist an wanted to ask for it for myself! I loved everything about it great energy great teachers great lessons!

Maximum Martial Arts University has taught my daughter not only how to defend herself but discipline. In just six weeks she has learned her basic movements. The way master Castillo has the curriculum set up really shows how much time and effort he and his staff put into my child. We plan to stay for a long time coming!

Very friendly and welcoming environment. The individual who originally set us up for our free classes (Mario) was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and helped us get signed up with ease. The class itself (Kickboxing) I think is great. I've only been going for two weeks now and I really feel at home with this gym. The instructors I've had (Justin, Alex) are awesome. They've really taken their time with me and have helped me & my fiancé learn a lot in little time. I 10/10 recommend, and we're glad we chose this gym.

Both of my children have been attending Martial Arts classes at Maximum Martial Arts since 2019. The environment is very welcoming and you are greeted upon entering. Since my children have been attending their confidence has improved tremendously and their school grades have also improved. I have sat in and watched one of the classes and it was amazing to see how the instructors taught the children and helped those who needed help understanding what was being taught. The instructors and Mr. Castillo have a tremendous amount of patience and are very knowledgeable in what they are teaching. I strongly recommend Maximum Martial Arts!!.

I highly recommend Maximum Martial Arts! My oldest son has been a student for the last 8 year and my youngest for 4 years. Master Castillo is very knowledgeable in the field of martial arts and also in character development, leadership and social skills. My boys have gained confidence as a result of this program. Master Castillo goes above and beyond to encourage and support his students and their families in all aspects of their lives. The staff is amazing, and our family is better for being a part of this school!

I have been looking for a kickboxing fitness place for a long time! So excited I found them! The class is an amazing workout, everyone is so welcoming and the instructor helps guide you through out the class! If you have been nervous to try, don’t be!

An amazing school and instructors! They not only focus on building strong and capable students but they also teach strong morals and being a good citizen.

I would like to commend and highly recommend master Castillo for the time he takes to break down the variations of kicks, for constantly evolving and teaching outside of the box. Focusing on mastery of block deflection, redirection, striking and most important of all foot work. None better for “real life” self-defense systems taught by a true combat veteran. I am super impressed that he has total confidence in his instructors, that they can convey martial arts knowledge to all students. “No fear” and I love it!! I have personally seen the young children here at maximum with the right mindset and parental structure become phenomenal martial artist well into their teens. Much respect to instructor Mr. Brockman he works closely with master Castillo to instill the indomitable spirit in these young children, his love for his students, and teaching truly shines. Also shout out to Mr. Holden for his passion, and teaching Of body functions and movements, human fitness, and self-defense.
