When in the Mesilla area, this is a good place for lunch or dinner. The lunch specials are priced very competitively, with the quality of food preparation being top notch. The ambiance is informal during lunch times. It trends more on the formal side at dinner times. They have a good wine selection for every taste. I recommend this winery and restaurant.

Everything about this place was amazing! The meatloaf was recommended and it did not disappoint! The pot roast was also really good. We sampled all the red wine and had a hard time deciding, but the heritage wine was the best.

Great food, great servers, great atmosphere. Located not too far from El Paso and a must visit in Mesilla! Extensive wine tasting selection is perfect with their food options. Highly recommend!

Beautiful restaurant, excellent service and good food. Great place to meet with friends and talk. Owned by a winery an amazing selection of wines. But they also have a great selection of brewed specialty teas.

Wonderful experience- the wait staff was on point🧡 suggested wines and offered unobtrusive advice. We shared the charcuterie board. Well-filled and a lot of variety on it, not the pseudo boards with a piece of sliced cheese and a cracker slapped on top. It was delicious 😋

Had an absolutely lovely dinner here. The scenery and atmosphere were gorgeous, and our server Jayden was wonderful. We said he was one of the best servers we have ever had. Our meals were all delicious and prices were definitely reasonable. The Lavender honey feta app was incredible! We shared a wonderful bottle of chenin blanc with our meal. At the end of our meal, we bought two wines to take home as we loved the samples we were given: the merlot and the kiva port. We will definitely be back!

This is an absolute delightful find here in Las Cruces. We give 10/10 to our server Ben. The flavors of this kitchen are mouthwatering. The Prime Steak is no joke on being a prime cut. Beautifully cooked by the chef, well seasoned and the right marbling as expected from a prime cut. The wine selection is amazing as well to which we ended up taking four bottles as we experienced their delightful taste from wine flights.
Will definitely return to this location at night to see the beautiful scenery of the mountains.

10/10 recommended for those looking towards an amazing experience.

My husband and I love eating there. The evening was perfect, thanks to the wonderful service Jason gave us, accompanied by a beautiful patio, full of flowers and a very nice romantic trio. The food was autstanding, they never disappoint us and their wine, delicious. Definitely recommend.

Best place in town for a romantic dinner! Their food is absolutely delicious (I LOVE their pasta New Mexico) and their wine is amazing. Beautifully decorated and the service is outstanding. 5 stars!

It's a nice restaurant, the service was great. We enjoy all the food that we ordered. We will be back if we come back in town.

My daughter, Natalya, and I were looking for a nice place to have some wine with a good dinner. We ended up here, not knowing exactly what kind of food they served. It was an extra special place where we had delicious red wine and a beautiful, amazing dinner!
I’ve been back several times since then. The service is so smooth and the servers are very nice and helpful with wine choices to have with entrees. I highly recommend this lovely winery & bistro.

We were passing through after a very long day of driving and stumbled on this absolute gem of a place!! The food and atmosphere were incredible, but the highlight of our evening was our server, William! On top of everything else, he made the whole experience top notch.

Would definitely recommend for a delicious meal, or if you want to just enjoy the ambiance and try a flight of wine! (They also have a very good craft beer selection.)

Loved the ambiance of this restaurant. It was comfortable enough to wear casual clothing, and elegant enough to dress up. Our server was Marissa and she was amazing! I couldn't decide between two wines and she allowed me a taste test of each. I only wish I could taste all the things on the menu. We made good choices because we both absolutely loved everything we ate. I started with the think and cheesy French onion soup. My husband started with the bacon wrapped dates, he loved them. For our main course, my husband had the Pistachio Pesto Pasta. He asked to substitute the pasta, and Marissa made it happen. He said his meal was so delicious and the pistachios was an amazing twist. I had the Country Pot Roast. It was served with carrots, celery & Yukon gold mash potatoes. So hardy and delicious. The roast melted in my mouth.
If I could I'd give this place 10 stars for the food and the excellent service provided by Marissa.

The evening started all wrong. We know this area well. We arrived about 7:30 on Mesilla. It was Saturday night however many places on the square were closed.
We tried to get into The Double Eagle, only to be kind of rudely that they were accepting no more “walk ins”. As if just showing up was an inconvenience they would not tolerate! As we walked out, we passed two couples sitting at an patio table. They laughed and having watched us go in the restaurant, they quipped
“So you got kicked out too!” We all laughed, it asked how they got served their drinks. “We had go to the bar and order them there and bought them outside ourselves! Nice customer service!
We will not be returning. We are not worthy of their establishment.
Then we entered La Posta. I don’t really care for their over priced tourist food. We were hungry, and took a chance.
They were WAY off in the weeds. Three girls at the hostess desk. Not one bothered to greet us. They were calling a name in the register and butchering it completely. The people had no idea their name was being called.
The hostesses were standing around talking to some of the kitchen crew. WHO instead of working their stations in the kitchen, were in the lobby wasting time. The entire lobby, which if substantial size was full of hungry folks.
I knew of this place, had been before.
The parking lot was full, found a place, parked. Walked in and was immediately greeted. And seated within seconds. The manager came by after about two minutes and asked if our waiter had been by. He apologized and quickly had Conner there.
Conner was personable and more than competent. The food was excellent!
The roast beef was tender and seasoned correctly. The other plate is a hummus plate. It was also more than satisfying.
We are happy we persevered to dine here and will return.
We left!

Amazing food and service. The wine was some of the best I have had. Was here for an anniversary dinner and the waitress was so sweet (even gave us a free dessert). The Hummus and lavender feta appetizer was so tasty (photo below) and the dinner was very good as well. Highly recommend.

Best restaurant in Las Cruces by far! Great consistent food and outstanding customer service. Only negative is that it can be very noisy especially in the glass area by the patio.

Update: Been a frequent visitor here, great food but what really stands out is consistency. Had the salmon and ribeye 5 - 6 times each and always the same, very good!

Update 2: Another great visit, had the Nosh Platter, meats, cheese, fruit, nuts and crackers. The whipped feta with lavender honey was the best part. French Onion Soup was delicious!

Love and highly recommend the Heritage Renaissance or Verdot if you like red wine, liquid candy! Bonus, I always order a side of the truffles from the Nosh Platter for dessert and drink with the red wine, ridiculously delicious!

Perfect place for a date. Food was beyond delicious. We had the steak salad & pasta carbonara. For the appetizers Jalapeño bacon, wrapped shrimp, with a delicious orange glaze, and the Nosh.

I remember my first time here, was literally a year ago, and well I've lost track of the times I've already been here. All the food I have had has been amazing and I always have a great experience. Get the broccoli soup if it's available, get the pot stickers, the honey Dijon chicken is my favorite right now. But whatever you get it's gonna be delicious. Also don't forget the creme brulee..

The food is really good. Everything we ordered was on point. Prices are great too!! Went again yesterday and man food is great!!!!!
