My (men's) haircuts with Young have been solid every time. He'll chat with you if you strike up conversation, but of course mostly focuses on the task at hand. Each time the appointment takes about 30 minutes. Booking an appointment can be a bit tough, but eventually you'll get someone to answer or once in a blue moon they'll call you back; otherwise, just keep trying. I usually pay cash and including the tip the cost is very fair!

I loved this place, quick, simple, easy and very friendly people! My moms been here for around 5 years and it was finally my turn to try it out and gee, it was really nice! I love my hair and when they wash your hair it’s very quick, nice, and like a massage. Would recommend 👍

While in the shop we added one more person to our reservation. No problem. The hairdressers here are very nice and efficient! Will come back here! Update 07/09/21: came back, needed a real good haircut, again great service great haircut! 06/04/22 again as always good service great haircuts!

I been coming here for over 10 years. Price is reasonable and Tim was quick and good. For a male haircut with shampoo takes about 15-20 mins.
Be sure to call and make appointment otherwise you will hard to get haircut they are pretty busy.
Free parking.
Cheaper if you pay cash.

Excellent service and I finally found my hairdresser! I've been around looking for hairdresser that didn't use any razor and he is great! He listen and suggested on what best hairstyle and gave me some tips on taking care of my hair.he did a very good job cutting my hair and everyone is complementing my new hair. Reasonable price ,$30 (cash) with wash (and blow dry) I highly recommend and would come again!

I have been a customer here for well over 10 years. The men's haircut costs a little more than other places but the attention to detail is why I get my hair cut here. The price of $20 includes shampooing before and after the haircut (I usually tip $5) for a total of $25. Young has been cutting my hair and he does a fantastic job every time. They are pretty busy all the time so call ahead for reservations.

Chris is the greatest. I did not realize how great her skills and customer service are until I left Virginia for my new job. I never walked out with a haircut I didn't love when she was my barber. With minimal and general instructions, Chris intuitively knew exactly what I wanted and added her own experience and perspective to achieve perfection every time. To top it all off, Hair Story only charges $20 for men's cuts. Where I'm at now, you won't find a Korean salon that charges less than $30 for a men's cut. Not to mention the quality of service doesn't even come close to what Chris offers. If I ever end up back in Nova, there's only one salon for me.

This is one of the best hair salon in town. Top notch quality at a reasonable price. Must make reservation. You may have to wait days for your spot, but it is worth every cent.

People visit this facility frequently located on Fairfax Blvd due to its affordability & timely service. Staff here is very attentive especially young ones. You will get very glamorous cuts & good recommendations here. Timings are good but advance booking will surely be helpful.
