My experience purchasing a higher mileage Nissan from Connor about 5 weeks ago was disappointing. We decided to use McDermottroe to find a reliable car for our new teen driver based on other reviews, but the car we’ve ended up with has been challenging. One week after receiving the car back from Connor to address 3 minor issues that caused it to fail inspection, we were faced with a $1600 bill to repair problems that our mechanic missed during the pre-purchase inspection. A week after that repair was complete the car was jerking so strongly on the highway that I feared we wouldn’t make it home. The problem did not reappear when we took it to the mechanic or since, but this check engine light has recently come on and remained on. We don’t trust the car for longer drives.
I hadn’t realized (before signing the paperwork) that this car would come without even a 30-day warranty or might have been even more careful. My rating reflects my evaluation of the outcome and the buying process.

P.S. Our teen drove the car gently for less than 2000 miles in just under a year before we discovered a mountain of additional problems that were too expensive to fix and too unsafe to live with. We sold the car to a junk yard. Our findings confirmed many of our suspicions.
