To be honest, it's been a while since I went out to a coffee shop with my dear friend Gwyn, but this Saturday morning we decided to get back to the tradition of it all. She chose Shelburne Falls because it's currently her favorite coffee shop, she goes there like every Thursday.
So we drive into the parking lot, and it doesn't exactly look like a coffee shop from the outside, but then again, what's a coffee shop supposed to look like? I had driven past there so many times without ever knowing what it was.
The shop was busy, I mean, Saturday morning and all, gotta expect that. At points there were lines out the door. Tons of UMass girls, kinda intimidating because they all look the same with their straightened hair and full faces of makeup. We snagged a table and set up to do homework after we ordered. I got a large soy latte and Gwyn got her usual, a spiced maple latte, she said it was really good. Both of us burned our tongues on our drinks, but to be fair that's mostly user error because we can't wait for anything.
The bathroom is way in the back around the corner and behind a tapestry, so it felt like a forbidden place. There's a sign up front that points to it though, so easy enough to find. The bathroom itself was real bougie, there's a nice chair and wardrobe, except its also super drafty, so I can't 100 percent garauntee that it's not haunted by a ghost.
All in all, good customer service, good coffee, and good vibes.

really nice local small chain. coffee is really good. the baked goods aren't too sweet to gooly. the sandwiches are a good size and yummy there's real chicken in the chicken sandwich. really nice atmosphere although they don't have the real estate that the works or Starbucks does
still it's my favorite chain coffee place. and one of my favorite lunch places. the breakfast sandwiches are also fantastic good size and not too expensive.

Good company, great coffee (the coconut is addictive...), delicious and affordable breakfast sandwiches made all day long... Made fast and accurately *most* of the time. Hadley and Shelburne locations good, Greenfield not so much - quality control on sandwiches and more not so good there, and location smaller, less charming, not appealing.
At Hadley location they readily replaced a mis-made order and gave refund for another. They'll teach novices about coffee drink types, and create a drink based on what you describe.

Great atmosphere. Employees were so kind. Love the music + vibe. Not to mention that the coffee and food is amazing. Had the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and it was both fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend.

A nice，tidy，quite cafe. If it were not located along a highway where people seldom stops by，it would definitely be more crowde！

SF has outstanding coffee and exceptional service- every time. No exceptions. I have been so impressed with their safety procedures during the pandemic, and continue to recommend them as my favorite brand of local coffee. Their sandwiches are also fabulous!

My absolute favorite local coffee spot. Even better with the new location on Main St. In Northampton. Great food, comfy atmosphere, and the employees really seem to enjoy their jobs. This has a positive affect on their service. The coffees are delicious, of course. I highly recommend these guys---at any of their locations!

Frequent stops here because I absolutely love the coffee. It never tastes like it's burnt or been sitting for too long, unlike with some places that seem less careful of the freshness of their coffee. Delicious food, too. Breakfast sandwiches are among the best, always fresh and hot. Friendly staff tops off my favorite things about this place - especially the Hadley location! The folks behind the counter are very individual and personable, not cookie cutter type workers who put on fake smiles. Genuine people, a great crew, who also leave the whole cafe feeling inviting and clean. If you have the time, at least drop in for a quick coffee or tea run to help support a great cafe.

My favorite local coffee place hands down! Their drinks are always delicious! I love the seasonal specialties. They have great food options as well. I find them to be the most reasonably priced coffee in the area. They have a great space at this location-plenty of parking & seating. Our go to spot!

By far the BEST coffee in the valley. My favorite thing is that they flavor their beans which gives the coffee a “cleaner” flavoring. Their breakfast sandwiches are also great! The atmosphere is almost split in two, in one area it’s a bit dark and cozy- almost like a library in a cottage basement. In the other area it’s bright and sunny but has fewer tables and fewer outlets if you need to plug a laptop in. The location isn’t the best if you need to take a left out of their driveway because you have to turn onto a very busy street but the coffee is worth it!

Love this place. Their seasonal coffees are always on point and the breakfast sandwiches are exceptional. Recent renovations make it a great place to do work.

The turtle iced latte was amazing, the service was good, a little slow but good for the very few people they had working. The bagels are fresh and soft and sandwiches are delish! Tried the cinnamon roll and the cheese and apple Danish which were absolutely mouth watering! Wish my house was closer to them 🤤

Shelburne Falls is absolutely delicious no matter what you order. The coffee itself is great, the breakfast sandwiches are amazing, the fancy drinks are perfect. Can't really recommend anything, as I personally think that, if it sounds good to you, you'll love it. Enjoy!

BY FAR the friendliest staff at ANY establishment Ive ever been in my 52 years of life. It was my 1st time going but absolutely will not be my last, the food was amazing, fresh and the coffe was hot and brewed/made perfectly.

My favorite coffee shop in the valley. Try the sandwiches on a croissants, especially the Noho - it's my favorite vegetarian option for breakfast when in a rush in the morning.

The coffee is also excellent - favorite is the organic Peruvian, but be sure to try all their different beans to suit your own tastes. Also, if you like flavored coffees they roast their own beans with various flavors. If you like coconut - the iced version will leave you coming back for more... That is... If the local and friendly atmosphere doesn't convince you to first!

Shelburne falls probably has the best quality coffee in the Amherst area. Plenty of organic interesting flavor choices both on the breakfast menu and coffee menu. Definitely worth the extra time and money over your average quick breakfast choice.

Friendly staff, great pastry selection and delicious sandwiches and fresh juices. Coffee is pretty highly caffeinated, watch out if you're caffeine-sensitive! My new favorite coffee shop.
