I had always wanted to eat here! I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, and it was so good. The honey fig spread was a good touch. I ordered a side of Mac + Cheese that was very good. There is outdoor seating limited to an hour and a half. Reserve your spot before going!

Update: I took my best friend here for dinner, and we had the fried tofu burger and the fries with aioli. It was super good! I ordered sour which was super good! I forget the name, but they rotate anyhow so just choose one that sounds good!

I am a resident of downtown Northampton and I had been meaning to give this place a shot for months and I'm glad I finally did. I love bars with lowlight ambience and the draft options are spectacular. The French Fries here are exceptional and they give you a lot. The service was very friendly and I will be returning again for sure.

Great selection of beer with knowledgeable bartenders. They were able to make some great recommendations, and the varied selection means that there's options for everyone. Got food the second time I went, and the burgers are fantastic - unique options for toppers such as smoked blue cheese kicked them up a notch.

4 years ago, I would have agreed with many of the negative reviews - however, this place is now great!

After reading through reviews, yes - I would have certainly agreed with the poor service and over pricing... I had a couple bad experiences back-to-back and I was like - that's it. One was a way delayed request for a check (1 and a half hrs) and having a dish served covered in an ingredient that I stressed was an allergy when placing my order. That's just no good...
However, post-COVID, I gave it another shot and this place has improved for the better! Dirty Truth has the best cider rotation around. And the reserve list! Where else can you get a bottle of Little Pomona in western Massachusetts? I work in the cider industry and greatly appreciate that another local business is supporting the craft. There are also many local breweries on the beer list and national and international oddball brews that are fun to try. Last visit, I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was tasty! The server was also proactive and conscious about my allergies. I now regularly make visits and am happy this place is in downtown Northampton!

The food and bev here are both outstanding. The truffle fries are out of this world. I'm so glad they have takeout, too, for when we can't get childcare but still need a fix. We're lucky to have dirty truth in town!

They have a nice selection of ciders and a tasty vegan soft pretzel.

Had an outstanding time tonight at the ‘Celebration of Cider’ event that they held tonight. The selection of ciders was top notch. The pork loin sandwich was very good. The apple pie donuts dessert and hard cider cheese dip were surprise wonders of marvelous flavor concoctions. I could have made an entire meal with those alone! Can’t wait for the next event like this.

Great beer selection. I like the Lagers and Pale Ales so the Hoppy flavors are my thing. The Brick and Feather Here There Be the Tygers is a well rounded mix of that Hoppy clean taste with a citrus note.
Good spot for a beer to kill some time.

Stopped in around 9:20pm on Saturday night for drinks. The drinks were unique, the staff were very friendly. The ambiance was great, music was quiet enough that we could still hear each other. We were relieved to have found this place. The staff were very kind even when we were there right up until close (sorry! Had to call an Uber!). Will definitely be back!!

Great wine selection, great service, great food! Our dogs were welcomed on the patio. Came good!

One of the best places to try a uniquely curated selection of beers and drinks. I always bring a friend here when they are visiting and I want to impress them.

Very happy to hear they are requiring vaccinations for everyone who enters the building. That kind of repsonsibility that they take for their community is commendable. More should follow suit.

Had a citizen IPA that was awesome and an absolutely awesome cheese plate. Added an order of olives. Awesome atmosphere

Just go here they have awesome food and atmosphere. The beer selection on tap is larger than can be counted. The always change up the walls with local artists. They support local farms and only get the fresh of the fresh local ingredients. Looking for a funky spot with awesome food and drink with a changing menu? You found the spot then... it's The Dirty Truth! Burger here is best I've ever had. Only down side is pricy.

I love The Dirty Truth! my favorite place to come try a cool beer or wine pour that I wouldn't normally try otherwise. The food at DT stands out above most in Northampton and I often find myself there for a great burger or entree. The staff have always been amazing, accommodating, and friendly. Always willing to make a suggestion or steer me in the right direction.
You'll find me here time and time again.

I had one of the most amazing burgers there that I've had in a long time. The beef was seasoned with amazing flavor, and it was cooked perfectly.

Easiest 5 stars I've given in a while. Staff was accommodating, beer selection was excellent, and the food was incredible. The seafood soup with smoked carrots was like nothing I've ever had before, and paired perfectly with the Populis sauvignon blanc.
