It's a really unique store. Has soaps, clothes, makeup, perfumes and a whole lot more.
Worth the visit.

A walk through Thorne's Marketplace was perfect for a brisk Valentine's day. Lots of unique shops and vendors making a difference in the community supporting great causes.

I love this place! They have such unique merchandise, perfect for one-of-a kind gifts. I never go to Northampton without stopping by (and purchasing something special for others and myself). THE best place to find a gift for basically anyone! Every section is so well thought out and stocked with a variety of price points. This store has no problem letting you feel luxurious without destroying your wallet.

The clothing section, which is a different storefront on the same floor, is similarly well put together. I have a hard time finding interesting clothes in Northampton that are stylish but not like.. college girl stylish. They're not kitsch or cheap, everything is high quality. Just really well done, especially considering not a single item's price made me put it back on the rack.

Overall, I think the thing that makes Cedar Chest unique is that they're providing items from respectable and high quality brands that you can't find in most stores. To be honest,, just writing this review makes me want to hop over to check out the clothing after I click "Post." That's how you know it's good!!

A wonderful selection for cool things for home, the kitchen and yourself.

I have loved shopping here in person in the past. This year I ordered online and had a great experience! I got some lovely stocking stuffers and they were shipped quickly and packaged nicely so everything arrived in great shape. Can’t wait to go back someday but in the meantime, glad their service online/by mail is so good!

Spacious shop with a little bit of everything. Most items are a bit pricey, but it is still worth shopping here if you're looking for a gift or just a special treat.

I've always loved this store but now that they've remodeled and expanded their second floor, I truly love it! What beautiful space to shop in. Staff is friendly, product is wide and varied and it sits right smack dab in Thornes Marketplace which offers lots of other shopping. Cedar Chest is a modern, stylish take on the old department concept. If you're in town be sure and give it a look.

Fun store to browse and buy. Unique offerings, great for gift giving and yourself! Changing product never makes the store feel repetitive. Stocked to reflect the changing seasons. Well merchandised and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Both floors wheelchair accessible, 1st floor direct, 2nd by elevator. 1st floor would be a bit of a challenge because of floor set, more room on second floor. Range of pricing to fit most pocketbooks. A must stop in, when in Northampton.

I wanted some outdoor string lights to perk up my porch as a safe place to sit with friends during the pandemic. While the temptation to shop on Amazon is a hard habit to break, I really want to support the small businesses in my town. Cedar Chest had several outdoor string lights including the solar powered white lanterns I was hoping to find. Their website was easy to navigate, they currently have free shipping over $25...AND my purchase was hand delivered to my door the same day I ordered it. Shop local! Support small business!!

Best place to find anything 3 floors of items cards music chimes clothes children items seasonal items and much more I love to shop here all the time always have something for everyone on my list

They always have a great variety of stuff that I love. Clothes, accessories, jewelry, lotions and soaps, candles, shower curtains,...and a lot more, but the kitchen utensils/supplies and kids books/toys are my favorites.

Very friendly environment. Very easy to shop and enjoy the different variety of items they offer from clothing to stationary.

I love this place for its cute and random gift options. I also like their natural nail polish line from Pacifica. Easy parking in the Thornes market garage (free for the first hour).

Really eclectic and fun little store in downtown NoHo. Well, I shouldn't say small as it has 2 floors, but still. It has many things that you could be looking for, and more!

Excellent grooming products for men, including my favorite beard wash (Ichabod Conk) and beard balm (Duke Cannon). A+ spot!!
