The Delaney House

Amazing dinner ! Perfect romantic date right by the fire place, not too crowded and very accommodating when wanting our seats changed. The clam chowder was my favorite, tuna tacos and lobster cakes were phenomenal. I had one of their specials for dinner, pork stuffed with sausage and apple stuffing/ drizzled with cranberry sauce and mash. I will definitely be coming back.

Beware though, the steak while it's very good is VERY coated in pepper. Id ask for less of it

I went with my family for my birthday and we had a wonderful evening together. The food was delicious, from my Blood Orange cocktail, to the Pork Belly appetizer, to the Beef Wellington finished off with the Key Lime Pie everything was perfection. Atmosphere was very nice for a quiet evening and staff was very welcoming. Thanks, I'll be back for sure!

It was our first time dining in this establishment, and it was everything we expected it would be. Very fancy and upscale atmosphere. Food cooked to perfection.
We wondered if it was the type of place that one would have to dress up as nice as possible. My Dockers button-up shirt under a cardigan was adequate.
The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome and was accommodating.
The steak I ordered was cooked as a steak should be cooked. And, the seafood that accompanied it were very delicious.
The only negatives are the parking and the view out of the windows. The parking area was full to capacity and I was lucky to see someone leaving and took that space. That is testament to the popularity of the place.

The price reflects the quality and service of this first-rate restaurant. We will visit them again.

Absolutely perfect dinner date with my wife. The atmosphere was nice next to the fireplace. The clam chowder, steaks, and cheesecake were absolutely delicious. Waitress was attentive, quick and friendly. The best visit we've had at the Delaney House. Thank you!

The Delaney house did not disappoint yet again. Excellent server, polite and attentive. Great food choices. Food came out hot and in a timely manner. The prime rib special was delicious prepared just the way I wanted. The Ahi Tuna was also done med. rare absolutely perfect. Popovers were wondering as well as the garlic rolls. Great evening out at one of our top 5 restaurants!!

A fabulous meal, served by a fabulous bartender, the wonderful Piaget. Very busy house, but she handled it all with grace, professionalism and a smile. All of the servers I saw were working hard to take care of everyone. Food was delicious, a perfect steak and a wonderful lobster cake served beautifully. A great experience.

We went the Friday before Christmas and our server was phenomenal, she really knew the menu inside and out. I had the Gorgonzola steak (pictured) and it was fantastic. I made it a surf and turf and added a lobster crab cake!! For apps try the bruschetta -we get this most places but the bread WAS so soft and delicious.

We also tried their house made limoncello and WOW was it yummy

Amazing brunch!! We love the D Hotel and Delaney House and have always enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Understandably they had to make changes due to COVID, now they have all table service and it’s wonderful! The brunch is three courses, ample portions for each. We started with bloody Mary’s that were perfectly seasoned, avocado toast, fruit and yogurt parfait, shrimp cocktail, then had crab benedict, frittata and a gigantic omelet. A plate of pancakes, french toast and cinnamon popover tops for the table then dessert......we left completely stuffed and happy!

This stay had only breakfast. Food was tasty,hot, and fresh.

On previous stays have dined in the restaurant, finding the food to be consistently fine. Have never been disappointed eating and staying here .. comfortable, clean, quiet, and staff goes the extra mile to insure a pleasant stay

Had dinner there one night. Food and service was very good. However, they do rush you with courses. Pushing to turn over tables. I suggest ordering as you go and not all at once. Cost is on the higher side, for what you get.

Great food! Great Service and the setting is amazing with a outdoor patio and live music on the patio. The food was amazing and the prices are decent!

We held our wedding at The Delaney House on 10/27/23 and I could not recommend them enough! Nicole Paolucci was an excellent event coordinator who helped us every step of the way and helped make sure everything was perfect! We planned it all in 5 months and were so lucky to be able to grab and October date. The day-of staff (Asia and Jenna especially!) was absolutely excellent. They were so efficient, attentive, and kind it was a joy to work with them all! My wedding was absolute perfection and this venue was a joy to work with!

A great birthday dinner. Brian our server was an attentive, very pleasant and informative. Food came out in a timely manner and hot. Love the prime rib 12oz cut and the Ahi Tuna was done to perfection. Popovers amazing along with the chop chop salad. We will be back again

Amazing food and friendly staff. Ten out of ten highly recommend!! Perfect restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. Atmosphere was perfect, will definitely be back!!

We ate in The Mick (bar section). The atmosphere is upscale for a bar, but still relaxed - there was live music and people were singing and dancing a bit. Service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Food is the same as they serve in the dining room and is excellent as well. The steak I had was tender and cooked as ordered. Great place for a special night out but also the prices are reasonable and it would be good for a burger and beer on a regular occasion.

The Dalaney House has been around for decades off U.S. Route 5 in Northampton MA. I had not been there since the 1980s and it still did not disappoint. Service was good and prompt. Salad was good. I had both the Spinach Salad and what is called the Chop Chop salad which is served family-style. Popovers are served with amazing whipped butter that looks as good as it tastes. Our group got pork chops, shrimp, scallops and ahi tuna. All were excellent. We ate in the Library which is elegant but a bit of a 1950's feel (if you like that). Overall, well worth the visit from central Connecticut.

Had a Gala there and everyone had a great time! Food was great and the service was very good. Some small hiccups but nothing that wasn't fixed right away! The staff is friendly and extremely helpful.

Came out for my wife's birthday. Had a reservation made online. The table was ready and set nicely by a beautiful large window. The waitress was very pleasant. The food was great the charcuterie board was savory brie cheese, sharp cheddar, salami, prosciutto, strawberries. I had steak and mashed potatoes my wife had the salmon dish. Finally they gave her a delicious chocolate cake with a candle on top! We will be back again! For Sunday brunch

Had a wonderful time at a wedding Jan 13 and Jess my server at the table was amazing awesome and the people at my table all thought she was a super server. We had a great time ..
