D. Hotel Suites & Spa

We only stayed one night but loved our stay. Staff was super nice, everything was clean and kids had a blast in the pool and hot tub. Great family hotel! The rooms were also great and had so much space. There was the bedroom area then a nice living room type area. 10/10 stay!

My family booked this location for a less than happy occasion. We were burying my father. My mom wanted a venue for his celebration of life where those of us traveling from some distance would have a convenient place to stay and gather together. This hotel was that, and so much more. Our entire family was able to be together, which would have been enough, but the staff? Words can't accurately describe how incredible everyone was. They were so kind and attentive to the needs of every single family member. Rose, Noah, and several others whose names I can't remember really went above and beyond for us. Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptional from front desk, to housekeeping, to restaurant. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and the actual property is pretty. The rooms were clean, and the outdoor space highlighted New England autumn beautifully, but it was truly the staff that made this place stand out as exceptional.

Huge thank you to every member of the team! You made my mom cry happy tears more times than I could count, and turned this unhappy occasion into something I can remember with a smile.

I’ve stayed at D. Hotel Suites & Spa several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the beds are super comfortable, and it’s quiet. There are little touches — like bottled water when you check in, and To Go dinners when the on-site restaurant it closed. (There’s also an on-site spa.) Don’t miss the complimentary breakfast, which is always tasty and often features unexpected offerings like fresh guacamole and tabouleh salad. (It’s the friendliest breakfast room I’ve ever encountered.) Definitely my go-to place to stay when I’m in the area!

The staff were kind and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was very kid friendly. My kids loved the pool. My daughter and I had the “Bestie Facial” in the spa which was amazing! We will be back!

LOVE staying at The D. Hotel Suites & Spa when I'm in town visiting my daughter at Mount Holyoke College. Cozy and quaint atmosphere w/the fireplace in the front entrance. I've always had a wonderful experience w/the staff, and the breakfast is better than most hotels. Still have yet to try to restaurant attached (it's closed Sun/Mon), but the front desk does have complimentary meals available for VIP level guests.

The hotel was beautiful! The staff is very friendly & helpful. The rooms are very comfortable & have good amenities. There is a fabulous pool & hot tub. The restaurant is very fancy & somewhat reasonably priced. The spa has average pricing for the services. The price of our stay was extremely reasonable. We will definitely choose to stay here again anytime we are in the area.

Spacious and lovely rooms, delicious hot breakfast with vegan options, the hot tub and pool were delightful, the restaurant on site was cozy and also had lovely vegetarian and I believe vegan options! Highly recommend.

I have all good things to say about this gem of a hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the staff, every single one I came into contact with, were kind and fun and helpful!
All this with a reasonable priced room in a safe area! Loved it!

A special thank you to the D Hotel! I stayed there this past weekend, and they went out of their way to accommodate us and provide spectacular service. Brittany specifically was unbelievably helpful, as I had a few questions ahead of our reservation. She remembered me right away when I arrived, and always said hello when I saw her at the desk.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has a lot of nice areas to spend time, whether you are on your own or with a group. I loved sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch, and the various patios that have beautiful fresh flowers filling every space.

My experience with this hotel and its staff was outstanding. Brittany, the assistant manager was extremely helpful in accommodating my need for a quiet room. She and her colleague Noah both went out of their way to make sure my stay was as enjoyable and restful as possible. Every staff person with whom I interacted was very cordial and eager to help. The hotel itself is lovely, very clean, has ample free parking and is just 10 minutes from Northampton. It is an excellent place to stay as a base for the area, which has several colleges and plentiful hiking, biking, and nature trails in close proximity. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels of similar standards in the area. I should also mention the great, complimentary breakfast with many options and free coffee or tea. The only potential drawback is that it is not a pet-friendly hotel, but apart from this it is fabulous. I hope to be able to stay there again when in the area.

I was so impressed with D Suites. I threw the kitchen sink of problems and issues with my weekend stay of 3 rooms. Check in issues I had, personal items I forgot, etc. The staff at D Suites was very helpful and gracious. The room was clean, and the full buffet breakfast was awesome. Probably the nicest in the area. I highly recommend this spot! Will definitely consider staying here again.

I haven’t stayed at the hotel, but I went to the spa for the first time today and my experience was fantastic. Everyone was genuine and kind and welcoming. I felt totally comfortable there. Vitaliya gave me an incredible, relaxing massage; and Ursa made my skin glow! I’ll definitely be back as soon as possible.

D. Hotel Suites & Spa is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I have worked in hotels before and stayed at many 4 and 5-star hotels, which is right up there. My family felt welcomed right from check-in. The room was unbelievably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The restaurant was delicious, and the servers were terrific. I cannot recommend this hotel anymore; we will stay again.

Booked a spa day for my birthday and had accidentally booked on the wrong day. I showed up and they were nice enough to get me in for a service anyway. The girls are so friendly and helpful and the massage was fantastic. 10/10 recommend

One of the best things about my stay was your front desk interactive host J.G. (Say Hi because he is so humble.) So very professional. Remembers names etc.and I see we were not the only ones who thought he had the most pleasant speaking voice. So refreshing these days! Hotel was very nice.The setting is awesome. Very crowded at bfast and a little wait but to be expected as there were showers, tastings and events going on. Room very tasteful but some chairs need replacing for sturdiness. Art on walls was spot on. Should have gone to the spa... Food was awesome. Ordered room service. Everything was so relaxing. Will return.

Absolutely wonderful every time we go. Got engaged here, got married here and celebrated our first anniversary. The staff are delightful. Different rooms available for any event. Pork belly lollipops are naughty good.

The D is our preferred hotel when we are here visiting family. We love the king size suite, plenty of room for us to spread out. Great pool and hot tub! There is traffic noise from route 91 but if you keep the fan on it's not too disturbing. Excellent staff, very clean. Hot breakfast daily with good choices. Affordable, easy drive to Northampton and other points of interest, hiking etc.

We just spent 2 nights at the hotel while we attended the Brimfield Antique Show. The hotel was in a quiet location Noah at reception was very pleasant and helpful. He was a nice introduction to our stay. The hotel dining room was closed on our nights there so we requested his suggestions for dining. One of his recommendations was The Boathouse in South Hadley. His suggestion was spot on and we enjoyed very good and ample servings of Clam Chowder, Fish & Chips, and Shepard's Pie. We would also recommend this restaurant. Our room was a King Suite. It was clean, comfortable, and the rooms well planned. The bed was comfortable and came with regular pillows - not the tiny ones that some hotels now use. A door separated the bedroom from the bathroom and living room area which was perfect for us as one is an early riser. Most comparable hotels don't have a door separating the bedroom. There was a TV in the bedroom and also the living room. Last but not least was the ample hot breakfast served. Thanks to Kevin for his service in keeping the chafing dishes well stocked and the homemade corn muffins. This was the best breakfast we have had in any comparable hotel. No plastic wrapped muffins, danish, etc. Excellent service all around. We will stay again. Highly recommend this hotel.

Love it here. It's so convenient that it's right next to Delaney house & there's a Spa in the hotel. I stayed with my daughter and we loved the pool! There was breakfast too. Most importantly the staff were super friendly and the entire place was super clean & well maintained. Definitely will be back.
