State Street Fruit Store

They have some of the best curated liquors, I am definitely a big fan. I highly recommend the Yobo Hunni as a sparkling seltzer alternative, and this is the only place I know of that carries it. The grocery side of the store is nice as well, if a little pricey. Great selection of fun little drinks.

An excellent recommendation brought me to state street Fruit, Deli, and wine store for lunch. A cornucopia of delicious things. I thoroughly enjoyed a Turkey Smitty with extra avocado; a simple lemon flavoured water, and a walnut brownie.

An excellent store, if a bit overpriced. I wouldn't buy groceries there because I don't have the budget for it, but their deli sandwiches were nice little treat on occasion. The coffee was quite good as well.

Great store. Great deli. I got a bunch of salads for July 4th. They were delicious. Egg salad could use some salt, but the macaroni and potato and seafood salads were delicious. Great fruit salad also. I got a lot of food for $35 and fed a bunch of people.

They also have lots of local produce.

Lastly, they carry Tandem Bagel Co. cookies and cakes and bagels.

Great store. Some things are pricey but they have great prices on a lot also.

Don't forget to stop in the wine store. Large selection!

The deli has a great variety of food that can be made to order. There is a nice selection of salads and beverages, too. There is very limited seating inside, but there are some tables and chairs outside where customers are able to eat their food.
Recently, containers of homemade soup have been available in the pre-made deli refrigerator.
Hot lunch and dinner entrees are available daily, too.

It is the only place downtown NoHo to get
fresh fruit and vegetables and all kinds of
other food and drinks. Very friendly!

A nice local spot with lots of choices. I do wish that they offered more variety on their sandwiches including an option to have them heated or toasted. Cold lunch meet is only so appealing for lunch.

Old faithful. Love state street. Come here multiple times a week and have for years. Love their vegetarian wraps, produce, and locally made delights. Grateful to have this little market in our community.

Great shop! The deli here is top notch; there are always good options for a quick bite, and they make sandwiches to-order that are a great value. The store is good, if a tad expensive for basics. The adjoining Wine and Liquor shop is fantastic and has free wine tastings on Fridays.

I'd never hesitate to shop here! This is a well-stocked store with a great deli. At my old job, I would often go there to pick up something for lunch. The deli has pre-made salads, sandwiches, etc. that vary day to day but are always tasty and reasonably priced.

The liquor store side of the building offers a great selection of excellent whiskies, and their craft beer selection is very well curated. Staff are knowledgeable and are more than happy to help if you should need assistance.

We bought all our wines for our August 2018 backyard wedding at State Street. With 150 guests we needed quite a lot, and wanted a range of types and price options for those more and less "into" wines. We tended towards their particularly good selection of Italian wines! The team was so friendly and seemed to take a sincere interest in helping us get what we wanted on our budget. We were in the shop multiple times and always felt welcome and valued. They offered a great case discount on already great prices, and allowed us to return unused cases the following day, which provided the flexibility we needed. Thanks guys!

This place has super good deli sandwiches!!!

Inside is pretty cozy too. You feel like you've been taken back in time! Has an old world charm to it!

State Street has one of the best wine collections in Northampton, with a pretty diverse price range ($10-$60/$70). They also have a great selection of liquor and beer. Staff is friendly and knowledgable.

I love this place and I don't ever have seen bagel here I do not think, but it's a good place still that I like. It seems like prices are a little higher but I prefer to not sponsor corporeal ovelords who run big chains all over us so I don't mind to pay a schmear more per grocery. That have wide expansive variety of cheese here and I like this a lot as does the woman I love. So we like this. After I get theem groceries and I can step over to the other side of the building  (inside still) and per chance purchase these adult beverages like whine and bears and liquors. They will help you too and you can pair wins etc with the cheeses you just bought and maybe some meats too. I don't know what you do but most people would do that. I don't mean meat per se, but put the cheese with a specific kind of wine is a popular past time that so many of us enjoyed. So basically if you are into Northampton downtown you should go to this market for you to buy your groceries! Even without bagels. You know this!!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into buy some drinks. The interior was tasteful and pleasant. I enjoyed my shopping experience.

Sweet and important local store for basic groceries, produce, staples, coffee, tea, chocolate, a few baked goods, maple candy, and apple cider. Attached to the wines, beers, and spirits store which always has a nice selection. Good hours, friendly staff, reasonable prices for a small store.

They have everything you need for a quick snack on the run or to set up a romantic date night table. You can pick up a variety of gourmet items, fresh produce, deli meats, soups & lovely pasta salads. They make great sandwiches and beautiful fruit baskets. Best of all they have great friendly staff.

The beer, wine, and cheese selection at State Street is the best in town. Especially becuase the prices are reasonable. They also have fabulous made-to-order sandwiches, if you can sit for the 8ish min wait.

I love State Street. The selection is great for a store its size, including a lot of local items. The staff are friendly and helpful. I like that I can get in and out fairly quickly compared to a larger store.

Great selection of beer, wine and liquor with a knowledgeable, friendly staff. Great variety of whiskeys especially! It’s too easy to distracted talking bourbon with these folks, and always a good time. Cheers!
