CHILLI GARDEN (川王府）

The Sichuan cuisine here is very authentic. The couple's lung slices taste great, and the double-cooked pork is also good.

Food and service was amazing. Prices are good too. I had Taiwan style rice noodles which were very good. I also had the kung pao bean curd which was amazing. Quality of ingredients are excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic food and a careful, attentive owner/manager. My husband and I have come just a couple of times but it was totally worth it both times. This time we got Sichuan dumplings, cumin lamb, sliced pork in special sauce, Sichuan green beans, and garlic bok choi. I can't pick a favorite because they were all so good in their own ways. The dumplings were different from the standard version you get in America, steamed/boiled and they came in a delicious savory and slightly sweet soy-based sauce. Everything was freshly prepared and hot - the garlic bok choi was especially steaming hot. It's really amazing to get that kind of service at most restaurants since many places will have your food waiting for a bit before the server brings them to you. The owner/manager was considerate and attentive. I loved watching the Chinese acrobatics show on the TV in the back too!

Authentic Sichuan food. I ordered fresh green pepper and bitter
melon. They're both delicious.

Small Sichuan place. The dish I had (wontons with chili oil) was very good. Judging from smells and gusto of other patrons, I would guess there are many delicious dishes. Bustling place on a Friday but waitstaff were fast and efficient.

I’ve been enjoying Chilli Garden for 20 years! Only order from the Sichuan menu. Love the huge mountain of watercress with garlic. There are some great special dishes with fish. I have had some of the Chinese American dishes and do not like them, and happy to stick with all the tasty specialties. Easy to park if you are driving. Friendly staff, no frills, always a great meal.

Small place, looks like any other small Chinese restaurant in the US. Prices were very reasonable, and the food was fantastic. Food came out fast too.

Delicious food. They have a number of authentic Sichuan province food. Been here several times with a friend from China who also vouches for the authenticity & quality. The people on staff are also very friendly and provide great service. I plan to keep coming back!

Hands down the best Sichuan I’ve had in New England to date. My fiancé and i continue to try other local Sichuan resteraunts but nothing ever seems to compare. Definitely worth trying if you havnt yet. It’s actually become part of our weekly routine. Staff is friendly, they always accommodate special requests, and the chefs are superior. Personally, I love the mapu tofu, spicy dry chicken, and the chili wonton. My fiancé loves the spicy shredded potato’s and the bok choy. Their prices may be a little high but I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Been going here for years - fantastic szechuan food + great service. Highly recommend any of the protein dishes with the napa and chili powder, the thai basil eggplant, and chili vinegar wonton soup.

I am obsessed with their Chili oil catfish with cabbage. I’ve had this dish in many places, including in China, and this one is super legit. I also love the garlic watercress, the portion is massive and it’s a nice healthy addition.

5 stars for going above and beyond being open on Christmas. You would expect Chinese food to be open on Christmas, but we all should not take it for granted.

Short staffed and the food was still spot on. There's definitely an opportunity if any food places want to be open on Christmas, people still need to eat.

We have been regulars for many years now and love this place. One of the waiters now remembers our usual order. Food is pretty consistent in quality. Portion sizes are good and prices are fair. Chili wontons with vinegar are excellent as is the fish with napa cabbage and the thai basil eggplant.

Everything my roommates & I have tried here has been incredible. Yes, the double cooked pork belly really is as good as others have been saying. The Sichuan pork dumplings are irresistible. Caution for the spicy-averse: they aren't messing around with the Scoville units with some of the Sichuan dishes. Excellent customer service as well; we're already looking forward to the next time.

Amazingly authentic Sichuan food.

Quick service. Reliable quality. I love their Dan Dan noodles and mapo tofu and chicken with sour mustard. Also try the homemade basil lemonade. Bonus- they use wooden reusable chopsticks. Also plenty of paid parking nearby.

We are a regular for dine in and take out. They are the BEST Chinese food in the area. Always fresh and neat. Quick service and very friendly staff. AMAZING salty crunchy shrimp. I highly recommend Chilli Garden.
