Mr. Sushi

Amazing kind staff and delicious food. I went here alone, I went with my partner and I went with kids. Every time service has been attentive and the food has come quickly. High quality sushi, ramen and a delicious specialty of spicy tofu soup. Try it!

mr. sushi is one of my all time favorite restaurants in the area! specifically for sushi, bibimbap, and japchae. the staff are wonderful and the restaurant is clean as well.

the sushi is always fresh and delicious. the sushi portions are more generous than other places in the area; over the past 10 years the size of sushi, particularly maki, has been waning, but not at mr. sushi. im grateful for this, especially since its some of the most delicious sushi in the area. the fish and vegetables are always fresh and the rice is consistently perfectly seasoned and freshly cooked.

i also very much love the kopdol bibimbap here. beef bibimbap is my go-to here. tofu is also great! super delicious, bunch of generous sides, nice beef, nice kimchi. i wish the egg was less cooked, but i know thats probably a choice to cater to americans. the dish is great if youre dining in, but i wouldnt get this dish as take out, for obvious reasons that you dont get the crispy rice, but also because they mix it all up in the container, which i think completely completes the point of the bibimbap. i ordered this as take out 3 separate times since their dining room was closed during covid and opened again only recently. i kept ordering it, expecting it was just a mistake, but i guess their take out bibimbap is just this way. so dine in bibimbap 10/10, take out bibimbap 3/10.

beef japchae here is also super delicious. its everything i want in beef japchae, never any variations.

Great food, I had the pork katsu ramen and it was delicious. Good service too, we forgot our leftover container and the server ran out of the restaurant to bring it to us.

This place really surprised me! It was our first time dining in here. The food was really tasty with generous portions, so we got to take a lot home too. Unique dishes I haven't seen anywhere else. I am not sure if they've always had Korean dishes but my boyfriend's spicy beef dinner special was huge and came with rice and the little banchan side dishes at a good price. I'm looking forward to dining in again.

Mr Sushi 's dishes are so tasty. The portions are a good size. And I find the prices are better than most restaurants these days. Highly recommend.

So the vegi ramen I got was really bad. I really hope they rework that a little bit.

Elsewise, I also got tea and sushi and that was all good. I wanted to give them 4 stars for the ramen, but then I got the bill and it was all cheap and the service was just so polite and attentive, I couldn't. Also the restaurant is quiet and nice. If you're a vegitarian and want ramen, this ain't the place. But i think it'd make a great inexpensive date spot.

Fantastic food, great menu, cozy atmosphere, and reasonably priced. Not much more you could ask for in a Sushi restaurant. Can't wait to return in the future!

When I lived in Arlington, Mr. Sushi was my go-to sushi place. Now I live about 3 hours away, and I still make a point to go every time I'm in the area.

Everything I've had is great, but I was delighted to discover that they make scallion pancakes the best way. Instead of frying them up to be crunchy frisbees, they cook them so that they are soft and chewy. If you like that style of scallion pancake, you have to get one here. The seafood scallion pancake is my favorite, but all the versions are great.

This is the first sushi I've had since I moved here and I can't recommend it enough. Great sushi, good price, kind service. The lemonade was a bit too sweet for my taste, but honestly not a big deal. Liked the atmosphere too. Like I said: would recommend.

I was greeted as soon as I opened the door and given a table immediately. A few minutes after being seated a waitress came by and described a few of the meals I selected to me and a few of her suggestions also. I ordered the soft tofu stew with seafood it looked great on the serving platter and tasted delicious. It was a big portion I could barely finish it. Thank you for a great lunch. This is my 4th visit and I drive over an hour to get here. I wish there was a location closer to providence.

A true gem of Arlington. We've lived in the Atown for 12 years and Mr Sushi has been our go-to... our rock for the entire time.

The straight-ahead, unpretentious Japanese menu never fails to satisfy. I write this very review as I am polishing off some salmon, shrimp, and unagi nigiri with some oshitashi (spinach), edamame, and shumai on the side.

When you order togo they are always polite and friendly on the phone. They get your order right and they pack it up really nicely.

When you go into the restaurant the servers are friendly and efficient. They get to you quickly and the food usually comes quickly.

One thing I really like is the ambience... the lighting is subdued but not dim and they play really good jazz... not smooth, adult contemporary, mind you... but quality stuff that compliments the menu beautifully.

Obviously, I am a big fan of Mr Sushi... which, despite its sort of laughable name, is a very solid, tasty, cozy, friendly place to eat.

The rolls are cheap, but they're also really, really good - almost better than the Asian Market's food court over in Burlington - so don't expect to only have one. Really great atmosphere, awesome service, and a never-ending list of choices from the sushi menu round out a perfect candidate for some of the best sushi (and Japanese food) in the area.

Great, cozy place with good Japanese, Chinese and even Korean options. I often come here as a family with with two small kids and everybody gets a great nutritious meal.
Bento boxes are great you're in lunch, Sushi specials are great value, and there are good soup and udon options for wintertime

Got takeout during the covid-19 pandemic and they were clean and considerate. The sushi was fantastic! Everything was very fresh and nicely prepared. I got a Miso soup, spicy tuna roll, philly roll, and Tuna sashimi and they even delivered mochi!!! Not many places will deliver icecream treats. The service was very quick too. Great experience all around.

My mom and I always went here growing up. The owners got to know us very well & always gave us the VIP treatment. I learned to love sushi at Mr. Sushi!

Can pretty much have your sushi the way you like. Other Japenese entries are good too but I usually stick to the Sushi. Clean and airy atmosphere. Nice to people watch Mass Ave.

I love this place. I've gone here for a big part of my life and it's just overall great food. The selection is big and is definitely not just sushi.

We've been going to Mr Sushi for years. The food and service are great. There's street parking but you should just park in the nearby public lot and walk; trying to parallel park while lunatics on Mass Ave fly past is nerve wracking.
