Hyatt Place Boston/Medford

I always choose this location for my local getaway. The staff are very professional, and they understand almost everything a guest needs while they are checking in. This is why I chose this location.
Did I mention the wonderful breakfast spread that they have every morning.
I haven't visited the pool yet. But I'm quite sure if I keep coming. I will visit it.
They also have an underground parking lot that is very convenient for the guest.
They are also slowly in the process of renovating the entire establishment. Which I am excited to experience once it's finished.
You can also leave the hotel and travel less than 5 minutes to get anything you want to eat, shopping and more.
Any problems that you may have, they address it immediately to make sure your experience with them are enjoyable.

Got to stay on the top floor with a view of the city! The staff was kind and parking in the garage below the hotel was safe and well-lit. There are lavender sachets when you come in for each guest to take for under the pillow.

My first experience at a Hyatt hotel, specifically the Hyatt Place Boston/Medford, was nothing short of excellent, earning it a well-deserved five-star review. The room was not only good but impeccably clean and quiet, providing a comfortable and inviting space.

The breakfast met my expectations with freshly made scrambled eggs and pancakes, setting a positive tone for the day.

The pool was a standout feature, boasting the warmest water I've ever experienced in a pool—probably around 90°F—a delightful surprise for a casual dip.

I had gotten the Hyatt credit card prior to this trip which gave me their Discoverist status. Using my status I was able to use my late 2pm late checkout benefit without any questions asked.

Parking, priced at $15, with options for both underground and behind-the hotel parking. We opted for the underground parking since the convenience of elevator access made it a hassle-free experience.

While the stay was mostly positive, a microwave in the room would have been a welcomed addition, a convenience I've grown accustomed to in other hotels. Although a microwave was available in the lobby, having to go downstairs and share it with other guests was an inconvenience.

The room's mini fridge, though present, lacked a freezer section, a standard amenity in most hotel mini fridges. This realization caught us off guard after I had purchased ice cream, prompting us to quickly eat the ice cream to prevent it from going to waste.

Despite these minor inconveniences, my overall stay was enjoyable, and I wouldn't hesitate to return. The Hyatt Place Boston/Medford offers a commendable experience, and I look forward to future stays at Hyatt properties.

The staffs here are really welcoming and friendly. The go extra miles to may sure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. Raymond from the front desk is love!

My daughter goes to college nearby so I frequently come to this hotel. Made to feel welcome every time. It helps if you're a globalist because additional perks do show up. Currently the hotel is undergoing renovation so some of it is a little worn but there is definitely going to be improvement. Looking forward to the completion of the job. Still returning as frequently as I can

Exceeded my expectations! Check in and check out were a breeze. The room was spacious and clean and beds were comfy. The free breakfast was great and the woman who worked the buffet was so kind and helpful! The shuttle was awesome....the two gentlemen running the shuttle were great! They always arrived within minutes and were so nice. We will definitely stay here again!

The young lady at the front desk was exceptional. I wish every encounter on vacation was like her! Wonderful breakfast!! No daily maid service, but getting fresh towels was easy. King room was clean and comfortable, and I liked having a sofa to sit and watch TV. The only negative was no microwave in the room.

A little pricey for how far it is from the city, but great service! They have a late check-out time up until 4pm. There was a little corner step in the shower, which was perfect for leg shaving in a walk-in. Bed was very comfortable, although I do wish they had one firm pillow (quibbling at this point). I didn't try the breakfast.

Great room and service, especially the receptionist Raymond and our breakfast server Ramona! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Our room and breakfast were much better than our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Medford/Boston.

Really nice had a very warm swimming pool, quiet rooms and good choices for breakfast In the morning.

In addition to a great location, what made our stay fantastic this past week was the staff! Raymond at the front desk and Ramona working the breakfast room were fantastic! They were so friendly, helpful and upbeat!! They really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The staff was incredibly friendly (especially the lady that helped at breakfast every morning). The rooms were typical hotel rooms, got the job done. They inform you that they do not clean rooms every morning, BUT you can ask for it to be done if necessary. Great location to the highway & a few restaurants within walking distance. Would absolutely book here again.

This hotel is really nice! The room we got was big, clean, and modern. The staff is friendly, the breakfast area is really nice, and their shuttle is fantastic. They have a free shuttle that takes you anywhere you want within 2 miles (first come, first serve) which was fantastic! It meant that we could take the shuttle to the trains at Davis, Medford/tufts, or Malden Center without waiting on the bus which has to stop at other bus stops. Overall, this hotel is fantastic (especially for the great price we got), and I'd recommend staying here.

All of the staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful. I loved the free cucumber/orange water that was always in the lobby and the complementary coffee bar downstairs. The free breakfast was SO great as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I would also book here again if I'm ever back in the area.

The room’s definitely need a face lift 😂😂😂 and a splash of color. But the staaaaaff 💛💛💛 so welcoming and sweet! And the lounge area is bright and cheerful. All the guests were sweet too.

Service was excellent. The representative working the breakfast area did a beyond superb job of keeping it clean and ensuring everyone got a place to sit. Front desk was helpful and pleasant.Rooms very clean & comfortable.

Great front desk staff! I really liked this location because it is close to Boston. The rooms are what you expect from a Hyatt Place. There is lots of ample parking and they have a fitness center. I would definitely stay at this location again when traveling to Boston.
