Another amazing google find. Very hard finding daily fresh made pasta. Not too far from home, Twyrl Pasta Bistro has a large selection of fresh made pasta and noodles. We started off with the very nice Twyrl salad that had so many fresh and tasty vegetables with mixed field greens. My wife and I chose rigatoni pasta. I had the Beef Ragu that had so much meat sauce I couldn’t finish it. Leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch! My wife had the make your own pasta; vodka sauce with mushrooms and caramelized onions. We had a really nice chat with one of the owners, Chris. If we were able to leave a 10 star review we would. If you are within one hour, I suggest dining at Twyrl for your next meal.

Back again on Sunday. Thank you Chris for your nice reply to my review. Tonight I tried the meat lasagna with a glass of Super Tuscan red wine that paired perfectly. My wife had “make your own” rigatoni, creamy basil sauce, sautéed mushrooms and steamed broccoli that was creamy, cheesy and silky. We started again with the Twyrl salad with house made balsamic vinaigrette dressing. We ended with the fresh, super moist carrot cake with gelato. Once again, I would love to leave a ten star review. Super busy tonight but staff were on their “A” game; hustling to keep people happy. Side note: we sat at the “Chef’s” table to witness the very efficient kitchen and marveled how clean it was. This is one of our all time favorite places to dine. So glad we moved to the area. Once again, great job Chris and team.

Back again on Wednesday. Chris suggested Pasta Carbonara that was creamy, savory and had some crunch from pancetta. My wife had the creamy basil over rigatoni with steamed broccoli. We ended the meal with the most delicious cheese cake with strawberry & raspberry glaze with birthday candle.

Back again Oct 29, 2019. Had the amazing Twyrl salad again which is a great way to start our meal. I had the beef ragu with sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions that was over the top amazing and super tasty.

Great experience! The service is friendly and quick, and the patio seating is very nice. We enjoyed the mix and match pasta!

We ordered:
Spaghetti with meatballs and marinara
Rigatoni with meatballs and vodka sauce
The Diavolo

Loved home made pasta! My kids loved the spaghetti- "I could eat a thousand bowls!" My husband ate all of his Diavlo. We went here after eating sandwiches at the coffee place next door bc we were still hungry- so I was shocked he ate all of it. Plus the serving size is generous. Owner and server were very nice and pleasant.

This review for chef Anka and the rest of the team at Twyrl is long overdue. I cannot speak highly enough of them.

My partner and I got married at Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester last fall, and Twyrl catered the event. We'd dined at the restaurant a few times previously and been very impressed by the service and quality of the food, so I reached out to Anka and asked if she did any catering. We were delighted when she said yes!

Prior to the wedding, Anka met with us twice to go over the menu. We ultimately selected two kinds of salad, vegetarian and meat lasagnas, and two pastas with three sauces, as well as meatballs, grilled chicken, and broccoli. Our guests were thrilled with the food and went back for second and even third helpings.

In addition to preparing the dinner, Anka made three different desserts, including a gorgeous wedding cake that she decorated with fresh flowers.

We had a number of guests who have dietary restrictions--several are gluten-intolerant, one is vegan, many are vegetarians--and Anka accommodated every single request. She made gluten-free pasta and a vegan red sauce and salad dressing, AND she baked a small gluten-free cake as well as serving gluten-free mini cheesecakes and chocolate-dipped strawberries.

Sternos are not permitted in the 200-year-old barn, which is where we had the reception, so Anka provided electric warmers for the food. Additionally, there is no kitchen on-site, and therefore no sinks. The shop where we rented our dishes required everything to be rinsed prior to returning, so Anka's staff set up a station outside with trash cans and buckets and scraped and rinsed every. single. dish. In the dark. Seriously.

Thank you, Anka, Christian, and the rest of the Twyrl team for helping make our wedding so special. We are so happy that you're part of the Arlington community!

A fantastic bistro we stumbled upon for lunch today. The pasta is fresh cut and the meat sauce is delicious, thick and creamy. The house red wine is balanced. Oh, did I mention the marvelous salad that comes with lunch had little cubes of beets? Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and sat in the spacious outdoor seating area they have set up. The pasta is handmade and the wines are very reasonably priced (we got a bottle of very tasty wine for $22!). I got pasta with alfredo and it was delicious! One plate is big enough for two people to share, in my opinion. There is also bread served before and during the meal if you'd like. My only complaint is the to-go containers are not recyclable and even to flimsy to reuse, and it looked like most people had enough food to take home - please change this!

I usually don't write reviews, but I had the chance of dining at Twyrl for the first time and I cant say enough good things about my experience. Firstly, the owner Chris did a great job of accommodating us in the open patio smack in the middle of Arlington center, which was lit up and the tables were wiped and sanitized thoroughly and nice separation between the tables, so we all felt safe. Then we were hosted by Alejandro..he did a fab job of explaining the menu, the favorites and served us a wonderful Sangria with some warm and toasty bread on the house. And then the drinks flew by and boy we had such a good time there and Alejandro was nothing but fun, engaging and very responsive too. Now the food, it was fantastic, a lot of Veggie options, the appetizers were awesome, the Veggie Lasagna (main course) is a killer! Hands down the best one I have had.. forget going to North end! And the pasta is made from scratch.. the food was rich and creamy yet i still dint feel uncomfy, i guess a lot of it comes from the home cooked base they use. Now comes the desert, their cheese cake is to die for! Again, made from scratch at their restaurant. Our kids had a great time as well, with the kids meal and gelato. Last not the least, Chris (the owner) made sure to greet us again and asked about our experience, which of course was fantastic. Just makes me think, if there is an owner who really cares about running the business, happy employees who are very engaged and quality products (food) priced right with an excellent service, there is no better recipe for success. Pls support this place, your tummy and your heart by paying a visit to Twyrl, you wont go wrong!

I had dinner here for the first time yesterday after hearing lots of good things from friends. They make their own homemade pasta and it is delicious! You can pick established dishes from the menu or make your very own own pasta dish. They have lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. The restaurant is small, but has a wonderful ambiance. The servers are friendly and informative. They don't accept reservations, but we were able to get a table for six people on a Sunday night. Dinner was reasonably priced. I will definitely be back again.

Awesome pasta & variety of sauces! Definitely recommend their creamy basil and baked lasagna plates. They have a convenient online ordering system without fees and offer contact-less pick up. Bonus: friendly staff!

Really tasty, well cooked, well seasoned pasta. The server was very kind. I enjoyed all of the food that they served (with the exception of the wine). I try to go here as much as possible to have their delicious, perfect carbonara (my stomach is rumbling just thinking about it).

They started to get busy and I felt I had to rush out because some pushy middle aged women were mad that they had to wait for a table (the restaurant is very small).

The menu could feel a bit limited, especially before they added appetizers recently. But the fresh made pasta dishes are some of the best I've ever had. Not complex, but really well done. The owner is amazing as well, he is everywhere at once and I've had a conversation with him every time I've been there.

Very good upscale Italian food for Arlington. The portion sizes are very large (enough for two meals if you have willpower) making the prices very reasonable. About ~$20 per dish.
Veggie Lasagne was good but a little too heavy on the ricotta cheese for my liking. Bolognese and kids meat sauce were enjoyed by the rest of the family. Fresh bread was included with each meal and tasted homemade as well.
Takeout process was very COVID safe and the order was available right on time. Lunch special looks very intriguing and will be trying in the near future. Hope to try dine-in in the next few months once things go back to normal.

Fabulous pasta, and they have amazing take-out deals. Everything is fresh and homemade and the pasta is packed with protein. This is a great go-to family dinner option, especially in these challenging times. Great food, great service, great prices!

My love for this place deepens the more I go. Atmosphere is great, homemade pasta and waitstaff great, and lunch prices excellent. Start with a large salad, then goodly pasta and slice of bread, for $10. Like many of the sauces but Creamy Basil is my favorite.

Amazing service, and even better food! I don’t think I’ve had better pasta, even in Italy. Favorite: Tagliatelle with basil cream sauce and salad with balsamic dressing. The freshly baked warm bread is incredible also. They also do catering !!!!

A simple menu, with all fresh, delicious ingredients. All house made pasta. We love sitting outside on the patio when the weather allows. This is our go to for take out. Food is ready in a hurry. Only downside of takeout, is the carbonara is only available in house... And it's so good.

My mom and I frequent Twyrl due to the fact that they have the freshest pasta, great wine selection and the most incredible staff. Not sure of our favorite dish because they are all delicious. Tossed between Ragu and the Bolognese. There is a lot of heart put into making everyone feel welcome and satisfied. Best restaurant in Arlington and a must for all to go. Thank you for all your hard work and kindness!

A wonderfully simple menu with great flavors. The carbonara was excellent and not overly heavy, and the cheesecake was a wonderful taste of summer with aromatic strawberries. Best of all, the atmosphere is light and the music is kept low so we could have a conversation without shouting at each other. We'll be back!

Twyrl is absolutely fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious (and all their pasta is made from scratch), the people who work there are some of the nicest I've ever met, and it's not overpriced at all. My girlfriend and I make it out there almost every single Friday - we were originally gonna explore and find other restaurants in the area we both like, but why go anywhere else when we've already found the best!
