La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Boston Somerville

Cannot beat the price for the location. It’s within a 10 minute walk from the orange line and access to downtown. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The hotel was clean, in a safe area, and quiet. Would not even look for another place to stay if we came back, would stay here without a doubt.

Clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Plus free hot continental breakfast. However, the coffee provided could take some improvement. The sound proof of the windows was very good. I heard almost nothing even the hotel is located nearby a corner of two major roads.

Everything was fine is outdated an the 5th floor smell was horrible but when you got into the room it wasn't bad at all. The laundry room was locked ab didn't own with door key. There things close by for shopping dining an the t as well.
Stayed get due to surgery at mass General want bad.
Front desk staff were very friendly an helpful.

Almost canceled after reading reviews about the rooms being dirty. We were very pleased with the staff and our room. Airport shuttle, great front desk service, baggage hold, room was very clean and comfortable. Good location. We had decided we would stay here again if we're ever in Boston.

Staff was great, room was clean with comfy bed, breakfast was good. Getting in and out of the parking lot was a bit confusing due to the construction right next door, but not too bad.

I want to thank DJ who was working the late shift when we arrived! Expedia once again messed up our reservation for this trip for the second time. He was so helpful and got us into a room right away! Thank you so much DJ!

DJ Monroe was very helpful, we got there late, he made sure we know where everything was within few seconds, great personality and overall staff were nice, coffee was fresh at all time

First time flying into Boston and the price and location of this La Quinta are hard to beat. The "T" subway is a short, scenic walk from the hotel. We were able to explore a wide range of Boston for six days through the subway (7-day CharlieCard) without having to worry about a car rental or parking. We were able to get supplies we needed from a nearby Trader Joe's. Front desk staff was so nice and helpful. They had been fully booked, but when checking in, had availability for a room with two beds instead of one. I appreciate all the accommodations. The free shuttle to and from the airport was the cherry on top. I recommend this spot to my friends/family and would stay here again!

Was really impressed with the hotel staff here. They were very kind and even upgraded their room to make up for a small mistake thay I would’ve otherwise let go. Location is great. Hotel rooms are a bit dated but clean nonetheless.

My family is dealing with severe illness in Mass General. The folks here have been wonderful to my family in a time of great need. Thank you.

Excellent value for the area. Good location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants at Assembly T station. Staff is friendly. Free breakfast in the morning. Rooms are clean. Could probably use some renovation along with the bathrooms. Mini microwave and fridge combo in the room which was very convenient. Heater was a bit wonky blowing cold randomly, so would have to turn it off and then on again. Also, heater could use new sealant and/or insulation around it as cold air was coming in from outside - I needed to wrap a towel around it.

This was very convenient near the airport and shuttle available for us very early. Room was clean and comfortable. We even had coffee ready that early which is unusual on other hotels. Accommodating parking for our car during our trip for a reasonable price.

Had a great two night stay here. Solid location to Assembly restaurants/shopping & a quick 3 stop subway into Boston. Really thankful for the microwave as Trader Joe's is next door!

We stayed at this La Quinta in Feb 2022. We were flying out of Logan early the next day and it is very close to the airport. As a La Quinta rewards member we could keep our car there for $10 a day which is a great deal compared to airport parking costs. They have a shuttle that takes you to and from the airport. It runs every hour early in the morning and we were worried that our timing would not be right with our flight time so the shuttle driver was nice and drove us 15 minutes early. The staff were all very nice and the room was so quiet because it has a room heater/AC. I am a light sleeper and I hear everything and I slept great. When we flew back and needed to get our car we called for the shuttle and the driver had called out sick that day. We thought they were going to tell us we would have to pay for our own Uber/cab (at least $40) but instead they were very kind and said they would pay for our cab since the driver called in. I would highly recommend staying here.

Price and location! It’s right next to Assembly, and a quick train ride downtown. Sure, it was dated, and there was certainly nothing fancy about it, but our room was clean, breakfast was good, and it was really easy to get to from the Pike. We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Boston. Staff was also really nice.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend, we got the king size bedroom on the 5th floor. I was very suprised to see such low reviews here, I on the other hand had a great time here! Breakfast succeeded our expectations, many options to choose. Room was clean and also common spaces. Front desk staff was helpful with some questions we had about the train, gave us maps and everything. Hotel is walking distance to stores like Burlington, TJ Max, Trader Joes, etc. and also to train station and Assembly Row which has a lot of places to eat and shop too.
Overall we would definitely consider staying here again for our next trip to Boston.

I was stuck in a Boston because flight cancellation . Thankfully the LaQuinta had an airport shuttle to pick me up and will drop me off at 4:15 in the morning.
I was Greeted with a smile and upgraded to a Suite as a Diamond member almost without having to ask. It’s surprising how few Wyndham properties actually do the upgrades. Seems to me it should be automatic for the property.
This property is in a great location and is well maintained and they take care of the customer.
Highly recommend if you need to stay in the Boston “ Assembly” area!

Great location and lots of parking for my bus. Great water pressure and clean room

Easily accessible by car, just 10 min from Boston (without traffic...with traffic count on at least 30 min), and free parking should you want to travel by public transit (which I recommend).

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful (I needed extra towels since we were showering twice a day during the heatwave in July 2016, and I needed to sign for a safe deposit box).

Rooms were nice and clean. We got a non-smoking room but stepping out of the elevator we were assaulted by the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. Weird that they'd mix smoking and non-smoking rooms on the same floor.

Continental breakfast was pretty nice. Make your own waffles, yogurt, bagels and muffins, cereals, etc.

Would definitely stay here again!
