Great cozy little cafe with outdoor seating for nice weather, full selection of hot and cold coffee and tea drinks, with a few uncommon offerings. Sandwiches, bagels, and some pastries give you plenty of options for food, with the Hummus Avocado Veggie sandwich being an awesome one.

Cozy coffee shop with great coffee, friendly batistas, and nice baked goods. Haven't tried the sandwiches yet but heard they are good.

I like good espresso and this shop consistently makes it. Alternative milks are steamed properly and the pulled shots are fairly consistent. They occasionally over or under extract, but honestly it's one of the most consistent shops I've been to so I can't really knock them for it.

Casual cafe to just stop by for coffee and a pastry. The coffee was excellent and went well with a fresh baked, fluffy chocolate chip scone.

Great food, great prices and pretty nice people attending. Try the Turkey Avocado sandwich, it's so good!

I am new to the Cambridge area and recently came across this coffee shop. I quickly became OBSESSED with their iced hazelnut latte. The service was excellent and the vibes were amazing!

I think Simon’s Coffee is my favorite coffee shop on planet Earth. My girlfriend Raji loves the place, too!! We’ve been going to Simon’s for many years. I believe I’ve been a patron since 2010. Simon’s has some of the finest coffee you’ll find and the baristas truly know how to pour an espresso, so you won’t be disappointed. The staff is always welcoming and we’ve seen the staff come and go over the years. And owner Simon is absolute delightful !! Simon is an expert in selecting great coffee. So you won’t have to worry about the coffee beans being roasted too much to the point of being burnt, sour, and bitter. The food is also definitely wholesome, fresh, and satisfying.

A little over $14 for a BLT sandwich and Chai Latte (I like mine with a shot of espresso, which I'm sure was a little upcharge). This was my first time ordering from here. I was in and out, can't speak to the "ambience" of the place. But...

The barista today did me a solid, and I'm forever grateful for that. Wish I caught their name, but give em a raise!

FOOD
I asked for the multi grain bread on the BLT, and wasn't really sure what to expect cus I've never had Iggy's multigrain before (I'm low key obsessed with their ciabatta bread tho!) but it was really good — if you're a fan of true grain breads. The crunchy kind.

Whatever condiment they put on the BLT is a mystery to me, but they put just the right amount of spread on it. Not too thick, not squishing out the sides when you take a bite. Just enough. And it amps up the umami, elevating it from your typical, bland BLT.

DRINK
Be aware that they don't have a large coffee menu. They're pretty bare bones as far as coffee goes. Don't expect to get any fancy flavors like "mint chip julip pomegranate with avocado foam and a pump of apple crisp flavor." No. None of that. There are photos of their menu posted on here, I suggest taking a close look at the coffee + hot drinks board before making the trip.

The Chai latte (hot) with a shot of espresso was delicious in my opinion. No added cream or sugar necessary. I mean it helps when you start with a GOOD CHAI, and I felt they started with a good Chai. I didn't find the espresso to be overpowering on the flavor either, but I'm someone who enjoys a good strong coffee flavor. Each sip I could taste both, and it was lovely.

I love the cozy vibe and delicious coffee at Simon’s. I spent many afternoons working on my dissertation here. To the reviewer who complained that this coffee shop isn’t like Starbucks: you're right. This is absolutely not like Starbucks, a giant global corporation. It is a small business run by a local resident, helping to build community. Thank goodness Simon’s is still going strong after so many years, thanks to the support of many students and neighbors.

The best coffee shop in Cambridge. The people there are the nicest people I have ever met. The shop also has great non-caffeinated options. The environment is so friendly and the appreciation for artwork and artists is showcased all around the shop. I highly recommend.

This is a very good place. I met a friend for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We ordered two sandwiches, an iced latte, a scone and a bottle of water. Total cost was $40. The sandwiches were very good. I had the turkey and avocado on sourdough. It was fresh and very tasty. I gather from the speed with which my friend ate his that it was equally good. The size wasn't huge but reasonable. My friend's coffee was very good. The scone was amazing, albeit not traditional. For one, the shape is not the traditional triangle. Instead, it resembled a biscuit. The texture was dense and toothsome, not light like many scones. In fact, I would almost consider this something altogether different than a scone. A baked good form all it's own. If you're expecting the traditional scone you may be disappointed, but if you approach it for what it is you won't be. I loved it. In fact, I liked it so much I took three more home with me too freeze and enjoy later (not included in the price above).
The service was exceptional. Fast, friendly, but not artificially chummy, and professional. They got hit the right note. And the place was comfortable, attractive and not at all crowded, although they were doing a brisk business. All in all, highly recommend.

As a fan of authentic coffee and shops that know the origin of their beans unlike Starbucks. I take pride in finding the best independent coffee shops nationwide. I always get a mocha. Nothing else. I ordered a large oat milk mocha and taking my first sip I had no regret, only wishing they had 42oz cups so I can savor the flavor all day. I came in on Wednesday at 2pm, the young gentleman and woman had impeccable customer service that made me completely welcome. I’m staying in Boston and kind of sad that my new favorite coffee shop is not as close as I would like it. I will be dreaming of this coffee as I take sip a mocha from anywhere else.

Bold coffee flavors balanced delicately by the smooth rich chocolate, and not too sweet either, leaving the taste you always imagined. Beans are roasted perfectly and espresso is pulled right on time. Floral notes undertones each sip. If you’re in the area or simply just craving a good cup of coffee, head on over to Simon’s Coffee Shop. You will not be disappointed.

Great pastries, great espresso drinks, sometimes half-off day old pastries. Service is friendly and quick.

Simon's makes some seriously good coffee, especially if you like it strong and black! Every variety has nuanced flavors, it is brewed well and never burnt. Don't skip the maple scones, either.

Good coffee shop on Massachusetts avenue. The shop has good art work on display. The coffee is good and the barista made a great mocha for us. I would definitely visit the place again. I have not tried their food yet, but from the coffee experience, I expect it to be good.

Good vibes. The owner Simon is great not to mention he makes the best coffee—don’t believe me just try it:) The people who frequent this cafe are friendly, turning the place into a little community😀

A nice little neighborhood institution. One of the best lattes in the area - the steamed milk is consistently really velvety and the espresso is equally good. Quirky decor, friendly (sometimes Cambridge-aloof) staff. Good scones. Will always stop in when I'm passing by!

Very cozy place, excellent service and great attitude. Ideal to spend a pleasant moment alone, with friends or as a couple 😊
