I went there after seeing so many great reviews and they didn't disappoint. A great place to have Tibetan/ Himalayan cuisine in Boston. They have amazing prices considering the quality and service provided. The interior is aesthetically decorated. Love the momos and mangso ice tea. Would definitely visit again.

Love, love, love the food! This place has a combination of Tibetian, Nepali and Indian food. The spices, taste, preparation are perfect. It has loads of vegetarian and vegan options. Definitely recommend the vegetable churue soup - perfect blend of all the veggies with cheese taste. The tofu chilli was fantastic. Even recommend the Beef Achar. Definitely visiting them again. I even tried the Tibetian tea - not a big fan. Remember it’s very salty.

I decided to try this restaurant after a friend's recommendation for their momos. The food was enjoyable, although the service was a bit sluggish despite the relatively low crowd. It's worth keeping your patience. The flavors reminded me of homemade meals more than any other restaurant. I'm eager to return and explore their other dishes.

My girlfriend and I really loved the food here. Pretty much everything was delicious and so flavorful. The ambience was also very nice - quiet and peaceful but also busy as the night went on. The shrimp curry was absolutely amazing. The Bhale - Tibetan bread - was light and fluffy and so yummy. The soups were both delicious. The Tibetan tea was comforting and tasty but also strange if you hadn’t had it before. The momos (dumplings) were probably our least favorite dish as the dough wasn’t as light and flavorful as we’d have wished. We’d probably award this 4.5 stars if possible - a half star deduction because the service wasn’t very good. They were a bit inattentive (we didn’t have our waters filled once without us asking) and they were a bit standoffish. But the speed of the food arriving and the quality of the food compensated well. In any case, we’ll definitely be back!!

Amazing food and service! We had reserved a table but few were running late, it wasn't an issue, staff were very understanding. We even rushed the food as we had a show to attend, and they did their best with the smile on their face. The food was delicious and fresh, so as the wine and the tea. They get you the right level of heat in the food, just as you want. Love that place. Will go back again

Absolutely delicious. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. I've eaten here multiple times over the last 2 years or so. Their pumpkin curry, momo, and various pork belly dishes are all delicious. I've brought multiple friends here for their first visit and always hear of them returning or wanting to return.

This was my first time trying Tibetan food, it was a good introduction. The food was tasty and very filling. Service was very fast and thoughtful (one dish out at a time, immediately after we finished the previous, and nice box to go at the end). The serving size for the main dish was a bit small for the price, but the huge portion size for the Momo and bread dish made up for it.

Loved the place and food. Tibetian food is very similar to Thai + Indian. Ambience of the restaurant is amazing and have lots of vegetarian options on the menu. Cost of items is pretty reasonable. Didn't like thupka (steamed bread) a lot. Momo's are really good. Would definitely visit here again.

You start salivating as soon as you walk in the door - the interior smells SOooo good! We got a takeout order and our food was fresh, hot, and delicious.

We absolutely love Martsa on Elm and try to come weekly or biweekly. The food here is consistently incredible and we’ve tried a lot of the menu. Definitely get the pumpkin appetizer. All of their teas are delicious. My favorite dish right now is the spicy beef noodles. Make sure to order your food quickly because the kitchen isn’t speedy, but it is totally worth the wait.

I absolutely love this place, been going back every 2 weeks for over a year now, this has now become a comfort place for me and my friends.
Their food is delicious, if non vegetarian, I highly recommend the chilli chicken with fried rice or tingmo.
Also do try their mango iced tea, pumpkin balls and churue soup.
Fried dishes (momos, spring roll) aren’t the best, but still pretty good.
They’re usually very busy on Friday and Saturday, so try to make a reservation in advance.

Delicious place! Everything we got was incredible. We had the rice cake appetizer, pumpkin & lamb curry, and rice flour coated fried shrimp. The chai was also amazing, although as someone who is lactose intolerant I probably should have indulged less. A sidenote to those who (like us) have never tried it is that the Tibetan butter tea is very buttery milky and salty — certainly tasty, and was just a bit intense for one of us to drink the whole thing.

My favorite restaurant in the greater Boston area. I've never seen it packed, which means y'all are missing out. The vegetarian food is all delicious and actually full of flavor for those of us who know how spiced food should taste. I love the tingmo.

Excellent service. Amazing indian / tibetan food right near Davis square. Plenty of vegetarian options customizable spice levels. Decent price point too!

This is the type of restaurant that you will keep revisiting overtimes. I really like the food, and the nice environment here. Must try their special tea, it’s like salty milk definitely worth a try.

We have been here twice recently, and have loved both visits! We are vegetarian, and there are lots of great options. All of the dishes we have ordered have been really delicious. We've also been able to walk in without a reservation, once on Friday evening and the other time on Saturday evening, although not too late. They were full on the Saturday by the time we got our food.

The food was phenomenal. I did not know what to expect when I got here but I will definitely be back. I ordered a beef plate that I couldn't pronounce but it was so delicious! Cute little spot for a date or just with friends.

Got the Thenthuk beef noodle soup (homemade pulled noodles) and it was amazing! Thick noodle and good amount of beef. New update: I got the beef talumein thukpa noodle and it was also really good!!

Very tasty Asian food, to be precise a mixture of Indian, Bhutanese and Nepali Cuisine.

Servers are a little confused but the food is amazing. It's really asian food without any tricks . It's actually spicy. And you can taste that the sambar is made fresh.

The wine selection works we'll with the food and is reasonably priced also.
