Lizzy's Homemade Ice Cream

We are here as a group and there's a party room. Very nice place to held a small function. The ice cream is delicious and the many varieties of topping are also great.

Great ice cream shop. Went for a classic Chocolate Frappe. Great flavor nice smooth consistency that was just the right thickness for my taste. Will definitely stop back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Update: came back again a few months later. Had a wonderful ice cream sundae. Love that the city has blocked off the street for alfresco dinning. Enjoyed our ice cream on a lonely spring evening, and then went for a stroll down the road

I ordered this cake for my sister’s birthday, and was so beyond impressed. I ordered over the phone, and asked them if they could make a dinosaur design on the top. They responded without a beat asking what kind of dinosaur! They were so ready to go above and beyond! I live out of state, and had never been to Lizzys before, so I was going in a bit blind, but I honestly couldn’t have anticipated how blown away I was by the staff and by the end product. My sister was so excited, and it really made her birthday special!

2022: Got two quarts to go. Very clean place. Masks, required. Delicious ice cream; repeat customer.

Cute little ice cream shop! I got the coffee vegan ice cream made with oat/coconut milk and it was one of the best vegan ice creams i’ve had - so flavorful! Can’t wait to go back and try more flavors.

Their ice cream are just so good to worth a 30 mins drive. Rich flavor in mint oreo and banana I had yesterday. Wet toppings are also awesome.

Great ice cream! And the staff was super friendly too! You walked in and the place smelled like buttery heaven from the cakes they were baking! My family is from Alabama I’m and it was the first time I have walked into a business since being in Boston and felt a little closer to “home”. Plus the cow decor was absolutely adorable!

Great homemade ice cream! This place has lots of great flavors and their portion sizes are pretty large. I personally love the salted caramel pretzel and the chocolate cookie dough. They also have sundaes and flavor samplers, as well as coffees, teas, and some food. Their staff is super nice, and there's plenty of tables inside to sit at or to hangout while eating your ice cream. Overall, this is a great place to come after dinner right on Moody Street.

We've always loved Lizzy's, but they made our wedding day extra special! Miriam was so helpful in making sure I got an ice cream wedding cake of my dreams! We decided to have a small intimate wedding due to covid and Lizzy's made sure we had enough ice cream for our guests and a beautiful cake! Thank you!!

Staff is hard to come by so I won't critique how long we stood in a not very long line.
Counter person was super, ice cream is good, prices are very fair by today's market. Plenty of seating and ours was clean. Very little street parking. Outdoor seating was closed, why, I'm not sure.

Cute place. There is not a lot of seating inside. It is a younger staff. There were efficient but could have been a little more friendly. They work hard to keep the line moving. It is often out into the street, but the lines moves pretty well. Ice cream is good. It is not my favorite, but is good. Prices were respectable.

Lizzy's is the best ice cream in the greater Boston area. Hands down, all-around. The ice cream is homemade and is consistently creamy and delicious. They even added dairy-free options that are the tastiest I have ever had (and since having to switch to dairy-free, I have shopped around for a quality dairy-free ice cream, and Lizzy's does it better than any ice cream shop in the area, including better than anything you can find at the supermarket). The hot fudge and whipped cream are also homemade! Overall, such quality ingredients. The service has the same high quality as the ice cream. The portions and quality of ice cream match the price point, and the portions are consistently a reasonable size. The servers are kind and patient. Additionally, I have had a birthday party at Lizzy's and gotten their ice cream catered to another party. On both occasions, everything was neatly set-up/packaged, the price point was fair, and everything was ready for set-up/pick-up on time.
