I've had to visit the ER at MetroWest Medical Center twice in the last three years. Both instances were as great of an experience as one can have having to go to an emergency room. However, my most recent visit was absolutely exceptional. From intake and registering, to the amazing RNs (Lisa, and Ellen), to the exceptionally phenomenal Dr. Frank, I was treated with compassion and empathy. Their positive energy and appropriate humor quelled my anxieties. I'm grateful for their professionalism and their knowledge. Thank you all so very much!

My mother was recently brought via rescue to the ED at MetroWest Medical Center. Upon her arrival Pat, the nurse in the emergency department along with Natalie the charge nurse, took my mother under their wings and made sure she was safe. There were also two physicians that I would like to recognize Dr. Chun and Dr. Son, purely amazing people who cared for my mother as if she was family . Lastly, I would love to thank the 5th Floor staff. I felt 100% confident when I left her to go home and sleep that she would be cared for and kept safe. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and to let you know, mother is doing very well.

My father came in by ambulance yesterday because he was having a stroke. The doctors, nurses and staff have been fantastic. Even though they are all out straight with the large numbers of patients, you would never know by the extra time and attention they spend with my father and us.

We are very grateful to The Green Team, doctors and nurses of the cardio vascular unit for the care they provided my mom, during the last days of her life. She was about to turn 96 years old and was transfered to Metro West Medical Center from St. Patrick's Manor with the flu and pneumonia. She was treated with the outmost respect, care and compassion; despite of her difficulties due to dementia. We as a family were also treated with respect, compassion and we were provided with all the information to make the best decisions for our mom. Particular gratitude to doctor Khan Shabaz for his wisdom and support and to Meghan, an angel of nurse, just to mention one. Forever grateful for your care, support and compassion

I had some tests and surgery done at the Framingham Union Hospital. Much easier to get in and out and park than Boston hospitals. The care I received was better than the care my wife received at one of the large Boston hospitals. All the doctors were professional and the staff, especially the nurses were friendly and attentive and I received all the post surgery care I needed and all my request were met in a timely manner. Thank You !

The Labor and Delivery Dept deserves 10 stars. I had my baby a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience. Dr. Brazer, the nurses (esp. Sonja) and the pediatricians are highly skilled, attentive, and compassionate. I felt very comfortable knowing that my baby and I were getting the best care. Thanks to the entire staff!

My son recently was admitted to the critical care unit at this hospital. He spent 7 days there. We day after day were so blessed with nurses who were so compassionate and knowledgeable. We were always given everything we needed to make decisions promptly and my son had the best of care. We had a few nurses that were just exceptional Shell and Gloria and Marie. You 3 forever have my heart. The desk staff was so helpful and accommodating and I never had to ask for anything. I was so blessed to have wonderful Doctors caring for my son in his end of life care. Thank you to everyone for your compassion.

I was at the ER on July 14, 2023 because I cracked my head and needed 7 staples. As other reviews have stated, it was a long wait to be seen. I arrived at about 245pm and was discharged at 720pm (when I left, the waiting room was more than double than when I arrived). That being said, my experience is that hospitals range from 2-12 hours wait, so although I felt like I was in crisis, I was sitting near the check in desk and the people they triaged before me FOR SURE were in more of a crisis that I was. Everyone was very nice to me. The check in person, the triage nurse, the RN who gave me my tetanus shot, and the doctor who treated me were all very nice and attentive (even when I was in the waiting room, when I needed more gauze or ice, they were very quick to give it to me).

Maybe when I get my bill I will have something bad to say, but I thought I was treated well at this hospital.

We had an excellent experience overall. Impressively thoughtful doctors (attendings and residents in multiple departments) as well as nurses who tended to us as much as we needed but also gave us the space we needed during a hard time. Doctors checked in on us after a long shift even after they were no longer on the care team for my father - they went above and beyond. The facilities were comfortable and what we needed. It was everything we could have hoped for, and the fact that Metrowest is a smaller community-focused hospital definitely showed through in a great way.

I had a great experience delivering my son. My nurse Dondis was an angel. Dr. Solano delivered my baby with another doctor and it was great. I felt very supported. I have visited this hospital several times during my pregnancy. Each time I got right in, and was seen right away. All of my girlfriends see Dr. Solano for obstetrics at Southborough Reliant now.

August 2020: I went into the ER for my second bout of severe belly pain.

I had to wait for about an hour behind cardiac cases, but once in, they reduced my pain, and fairly quickly ran all the tests to determine that I had an infected gallbladder. It had to be removed.

Next I was admitted, they stopped my pain, and I had surgery early that week.

The nurses, doctors, PA’s, technicians, and Med students were ALL - each and every one - GREAT.

I have been admitted to a hospital four times, and this hospital was by far the best experience. By far.

Everyone took the time to explain things, to answer questions, and to be nice. The care was excellent.

The nurses were all super knowledgeable, and managed that classic nursing dichotomy of being gentle and caring, as well as a million percent professional.

Everything was clean. Nothing felt old or run down. The one negative was the TV. While it definitely worked, it was small and there were almost no stations. Lousy. But who cares, because Wifi was excellent.

Much more importantly, THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. (If I could buy the bed, I would.). After having been in so much intense pain, to rest in a lovely bed was absolutely joyful.

I can’t comment on the food because for me it was all liquid until just before I left. That one turkey sandwich was super fresh, lol.

Also, I really like my surgeon - Dr. Samuel - and plan to return to him if needed in the future. He had all the qualities of a surgeon, plus he made the time to explain things, and answer all of my questions.

Overall, I had an excellent experience at the MetroWest Medical Center. I highly recommend this hospital and its excellent team.

My husband was recently hospitalized for an unexpected heart attack for 4 days. Every hospital employee from the cardiologists to the cleaning people were amazing. Each person gave him careful attention, patience, without any question of whether they were taking too much time. They were caring, informative, no question was too small nor was the number of questions felt to be too many. The care was excellent. We would particularly like to point out the nursing staff on the CVU was unbelievably attentive, in particularly Natalie, Anna, and Evan. Thank you for professionalism and personal care during this difficult time!

My wife had our baby here and I have nothing to complain about. All the nurses and pediatricians who attended us were super attentive and left us no doubt.

I fell on the ice and hit my head. I was admitted quickly and got great attention from the nursing staff. Cat scan tech gave clear instructions and was considerate to my situation. The ER physician was also very clear in her diagnosis and recommendations for after care. Overall I was very impressed with the care and professionalism of the staff at MMC.

Review for Labor & Delivery only:
We had a fantastic experience with the delivery of our first child at the Beautiful Beginnings Maternity Center. All the doctors, nurses and support staff were competent, caring, and made sure we were comfortable during our 4 day stay. I'd like to particularly thank Dr. Melissa Palma, Veronica Ann, Dr.Hamedi, nurses LAURA, CASSIE, KATIE, MARIA, SAMANTHA and others. If I could use one word to describe the fantastic nursing staff in the L&D department, it's EMPATHY. They are a shining example of how nurses ought to care for patients and the hospital should be proud to have such a wonderful staff. From the moment we were admitted for induction the day before delivery to discharge, we felt cared for, listened to, and confident in the staff, procedures, and outcomes. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to choose MWMC L&D and would definitely recommend them.

I was born in this hospital back in the 80's and my mother told me that it was very wonderful there. Thanks Dr. Hermon for delivering me to the world. I 💗 Framingham and forever my hometown.

I delivered all my 4 children there and had an absolutely wonderful experience with the nurses who cared for my babies.. very attentive and caring. Later on, I had heart issues and just recently had to stay overnight after a procedure in the cardiac unit. Besides being woken up every two hours (which I know is protocol to check things like all hospitals do), the nurses and my cardiologist, Dr. Love were exceptional. I left Lahey in Burlington because of a horrible cardiologist to go to MetroWest which was a lot more of a drive for me, but I honestly felt more comfortable with the care I received here. I cannot say enough about the staff, nurses and Dr. Love.

We have come to the emergency room here twice now, once with a small infant. Everyone was so wonderful, helpful and comforting. The nurses and doctors are wonderful and for ER visits, these were comforting experiences. Grateful to have this hospital close by.

I’d like to thank nurses Louise and Gwen for taking care of me during an ER visit yesterday morning at Framingham Union hospital. When arriving (2am), I was immediately brought in, Louise took my vitals and made me comfortable. Louise was very personable and communicated all the steps of the treatment process to me. Gwen assisted with my care and all the same wonderful things can be said about her. I left Framingham Union hospital feeling much better and thankful for the professional and respectful treatment I received there.

Went in for surgery this morning to remove a mole type growth on my leg and it was the best experience I've had. Sharon was the nurse at the hospital and did a wonderful job helping me relax. The physician was Dr. Yagnik Pandya. They both had excellent bedside manners the procedure went well. I expected to be in a lot of pain after I got home and the anesthesia wore off but I'm doing fine. I highly recommend are all surgical matters.
