Zia Comics

So wonderful to visit a comic shop again. This was a super good place to find comics and pop culture ware like figurines and games. Although I feel like the comics are a small portion of the store. It's still nice and nostalgic. Some good vintage comics too. Comics are between $2-$10 mostly, with some vintage up over $20.

Great selection of comics, tabletop games, dice, figures, cards, and other collectibles. They've got some cool stuff that you can't normally find in the area. Workers are great, too.

My son and I always stop there n check out the stuff. This last time we were able to find the new space godzilla comic we had just heard about the day before. It was a really nice find.

They have a whole room dedicated to Warhammer. I'm happy, also a whole section for pathfinder as well. 5 stars.

Great comic book shop!! Tons of awesome comics including silver age stuff. Plenty of sweet statues and busts for sale as well. And lots of DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS items to suit your fantasy needs! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and they close at 10pm!! What more could you want?!

Place is wonderful, a prime spot for all board games, card games, comics and much more. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They regularly host events not to mention you can get some ice cream and snacks.

Great selection, some really cool and obscure stuff! Highly recommended.

Only real downside is that I could only find Ram figures, even though it's universally agreed that Rem is superior in every conceivable way. But I can't fault them on that, I'm sure Rem is just way more popular and sells out quicker. To be perfectly honest, I think it's strange that Ram is so popular given how much less important she was to the story, but I haven't really w--OH RIGHT THIS IS A REVIEW.

Uhhh, yeah, 5/5 definitely go here if you want anything related to comics, trading cards, tabletop games, collectibles, Warhammer, etc.

Fun, bright, and large store for kids big and small. I went looking for some graphic novels, and they have a large selection. They also have new and vintage comics as well as toys, collectibles, board games, Warhammer sets, Manga, and so much more. Staff is friendly and the music was great. Las Cruces is lucky to have this place! We were visiting from out of town and weren't sure what to expect, but it was well worth it. Located in the amazing downtown Las Cruces neighborhood, I could see people grabbing some books from Zia and hitting the nearby restaurants and breweries.

Great palace to play video games and play board games! very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.... Only complaint is that they don't have any public bathrooms.

Visit this place every time we go to Las Cruces. Love this place.

The layout of the store is really nice, super easy to find everything. I just wish the staff weren't so awesome at helping me find just what I need, in the rare occasion I can find it myself.
Plus, it's so refreshing to be able to have actual conversations with people that look you in the eyes, and genuinely seem interested in what I say/get excited over. It has spoiled all my shopping experiences anywhere else.
And I'm glad to see the prices are always in line with the market values. A lot of stores like to artificially inflate things based on "collectibility", which is super lame. But I know at Zia if it doesn't have the store price sticker then it's the price on the barcode! And that's always reassuring... keep up the great work in our community!
It's also so extremely important that this place is totally a safe space for people of all walks of life. Like as long as you are nice and respectful, they treat you like kings and queens!!!
I've lived and worked in this town for 20+ years. In that time, I've seen a lot of my favorite places close their doors. But Zia Comics have been there for over 8 years (at time of writing) so they must be doing something right!
My one regret is that I don't have more money to throw at them for all of the pretty things I want...

Really great place, A LOT bigger than I thought with way more collectibles. They also have pin ball machines in the back, my kiddos and I really enjoyed the experience! I will be going back, very good prices too!

Always a great experience coming here. Great selection of Funkos, comics. I regularly bring my child here to purchase new manga. The employees are super sweet to her and share Her excitement for the item she just chose. Lifetime customer.

Went there August 10th bought some really cool things and i was treated very kindly by the staff🙌🏼😄 I really like this store! I wish, I could come over just to shop there again😎 love the that there is so much stuff that are available in one store of all sorts of Nerdy things you can dream of and that the items are relevant to what their topic of store is

I have not yet physically been to their store (cause you know, pandemic), however, I've kept up with them via email and social media. They are always fast and responsive in answering my questions! And so friendly! I can't wait to actually visit them in person one day!

UPDATE! - Have finally made it in-person! Super fun and casual EDH nights on Fridays! Great store, great staff, and great time overall! :D
