Seneca Park Playground & Restrooms

Cool place to hang out with kids, play tennis, enjoy the open field, and a nice flat loop to walk or run. Plenty of parking, bathrooms on site, wheelchair accessible, and free to visit. Trees for shade, Lots of park benches around the perimeter, tons of squirrels, and multiple entrance roads. Nice place to chill and walk.

Love this park it’s beautiful with a lot of views, we always get a bench by the water to sit an listen to music..

Love Seneca Park :) Great for kids and dogs. Walking track, playground, restrooms, etc. Tons of grassy areas. Places for all kind of sports - baseball, basketball, tennis. I love taking my dog over to the open grass area by the baseball field and basketball courts. Always quiet and gives my dog space to roam around :)

Childhood park, still as fun now as it was then! Love bringing my kid here to the playground, hunting for tennis balls and pine cones

This is a great park and I wish it were closer to my house. Large track for running, biking, skating. I think even for horse riding. Large fields for soccer or other sports. Nice play ground areas for different ages. I think it had tennis courts as well. And nice big trees

Olmsted Parks pop up beer garden. Lots of good beer, food truck, non-alcoholic drinks and kids playground. Great family fun.

If you want a make any sports this is the perfect place.

This park has a special place in my heart. I absolutely love it. To begin, its located in a very picturesque area in St. Matthews, with lovely older homes surrounding it, and its connected to the much larger Cherokee Park. Seneca is a large oval park with a complete walking track. There is a small playground with swings and several courts for playing tennis. The middle area has a baseball/softball field and a very large area is just open grass for kite flying or playing with your dogs.

What I love about this park are the memories of playing there with friends from my youth, the memories of it being 'the park to go to' when I was a child with my parents or grandparents, and it being a favorite spot now as an adult to visit every weekend with my father and my 2 dogs, Sniffles and Clarice.

It is a very lovely, serene park that is one of my favorite spots in Louisville. I highly recommend it and Brown Park, also in St. Matthews.

Beautiful park and ample playground equipment for the little ones. Individual tennis court adjacent to side-by-side tennis courts appropriate for tournament play. Clean, well supplied restrooms.

Parking is your only challenge I'm all if Cherokee Park. Drive slowly and be patient as you await an available parking space.

My secret is to walk in the evening when it's not so crowded. It's a great, sturdy walk if you don't want to have to pay too much attention to the trail, and be able to talk more and pace a good measurable exercise, whether it's walking, jogging etc

Great park with great shade. There are public bathrooms, a water fountain, and two play structures (one for bigs and one for littles) as well as two sets of swings.

Such a great park. Fun safe family friendly atmosphere for everyone. So much to do!

Took the Grands here for picnic and so they could play. Great playground, swings, slides, monkey bars. Restrooms(lets face it kids have to go!), walking trail around the park, tennis courts, soccer fields. It has it all!

I love that Park ,is full of life see people walking around , pets so happy me and my family can have a good time kid's have place to play my husband can play soccer I'm can walk and enjoy see that beautiful tree's !!!

Great place for jogging or MTB trails. Lots of groups come here for yoga, soccer, field hockey, everything. Everybody seems very good about suicidal distancing and using masks

It's really nice. there is a huge field great for soccer and other sports a playground perfect for children trees to climb a few tennis courts
