The moment I walked in to the office I was greeted by a friendly smile by Carol! The office is very aesthetic and clean. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth , Megan, was beyond excellent! She took care in checking my gum tissue for health and she was very gentle. Dr. Robbie was friendly and easy to talk to. He filled a tooth for me and I never felt a thing! I am so happy to make Lake Hickory Dental my new dental office. I would recommend it to everyone!

The staff in the office was always so sweet and kind over the phone, when I came in for my first visit I felt the same warmth and welcoming I had needed from a dentist's office. Dr McAllister understood the anxiety and had wonderful bedside manner as well. He also took the time to educate his patients on basic oral hygiene and is very needed amd appreciated. I didn't feel like I was just another patient, or another paycheck. They all had me feel like they cared about their work the outcome and if I was going to put in the effort for myself.

Dr. McAllister and his staff are inviting,friendly and professional. They helped me to feel welcomed and
relaxed. I'm very impressed that they make it a priority to explain everything that he sees going on with
your dental health. I highly recommend them as your dental provider. He has an excellent staff and they
went out of their way to assist me with all my needs and explained my insurance and other questions. I would has given them a ten star review but only had a five star limit, they are TEN STARS without a doubt !!

Just moved back here from Colorado and have been trying to find a great dentist with state of the art equipment like I was used to... Dr. McAllister is the answer to our search! Every other dentist we had tried had older equipment and didn't quite meet our expectations.

He has the best practice in the area by far- I loved the Power Point presentation he went over during my initial visit, his equipment met the same level I had come to expect, and the staff was so friendly. He genuinely cares about his patients and my family will be going here from now on!

The office staff is very friendly. Mindy, the hygienist who cleans my teeth is a delight to be around and sends me away feeling incredibly refreshed. Dr. McAllister is always pleasant and professional and rather than just saying, "You need to do this." He educates you about why he thinks doing this or that is the best choice for you. Every staff member who has had reason to poke around in my mouth has been very conscious of my having very sensitive teeth and they cause me very little discomfort.

I’ve hated going to the dentist since I was a young kid. I started going to Dr. McAllister’s office in my
early/mid-30’s and have had nothing but positive experiences. Don’t get me wrong, he has had to fix some things that some previous Dentists did not do a stellar job on, but I’ve never had a painful experience and every single person who works at the office is just a joy. I have had two Dental Hygienists who have been both gentle with my cleanings (no traumatic gum prodding like I’ve had before) and have established rapport quickly just by being genuinely kind and engaging. The staff always appear to be happy and you will never have a grumpy check-in or check-out experience.

Always a great experience. Dr. McAllister and all of his staff are very welcoming and friendly. He is great with children! We moved from Hickory three years ago, but we travel an hour twice a year because we couldn't think of switching.

This was the best dentist I've ever been to. They were so considerate to my issues and helped me feel relaxed with the emergency procedure they had to perform. I was a walk in and I was done and out in less than 90 minutes. Very gentle and kind. Hands down the best dentist in Hickory and the surrounding area!

After the retirement of my forever dentist it was difficult to find a new one that I liked and trusted as much. My in-laws recommend McAllister's so we gave them a try and have been there for about 5 yrs. I say "them" because it's not just one or two folks it's the entire staff. We both love our regular hygienist but on the rare occasion that we have been seen by others we have not been disappointed. From expert care, service and guidance to just plain friendly this place has it all. Thanks guys for all you do. 😁

McAllister Dentistry is the best experience that going to a dentist can possibly be. Dr. McAllister is extremely skillful and makes sure that patients are comfortable and happy with his work. Dr. McAllister’s friendly and caring attitude is only second to that of the staff working with him. From the front desk to his assistants to the hygienist, it is gentle, friendly, caring people all the way around. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Very thorough first visit with Dr. McAllister from xrays, pictures, exam, and presentation. After the one hour long visit with Dr. McAllister I then had my first cleaning at their facility. They are very organized and professional. Office is quiet and clean. Prior to seeing Dr. McAllister I was provided a tour of every room of the facility. I highly recommend McAllister Dentistry

McAllister Dentistry's staff is always pleasant and helpful. They take all the time you need to answer your questions and help with your insurance claims. And Dr. McAllister is the most personable and pleasant Dentist I know! I have been a patient there for many years and would recommend them highly!

Dr. McAllister and his staff are, without question, the best around. Never before have I met a dentist who is so patient-centered and personable -- taking time to get to know his patients, explaining the work he does, and answering any and all questions. His staff, from the person greeting you at the counter to his assistants and the hygentists are "top notch"... I don't dread going to the dentist anymore... and trust me, that's saying a lot.

I have been going to Dr. McAllister for several years now. I love the people who work there, they are always friendly and helpful. Dr. McAllister doesn't "force" work on me that my mouth doesn't need. I asked about something just yesterday, and he didn't jump on the bandwagon and tell me, "Oh, yeah, you need to do that." He told me he wasn't sure that the research deemed what I wanted to do was necessary. I knew he was that kind of dentist, but I was so happy that I could trust him not to do what didn't need to be done just to fill the coffers. This is a great group of people.

Never the less. I have had a ton of dental work in my long life & gone through several dentists, lots of crowns & fillings and an implant. So I know a good dentist from a bad one. Dr. McAllister loves his work & is a true artist. When he became my dentist, I never looked back. He goes the extra mile to gain certifications in new dentistry techniques. He is quick to invest in state of the art technology. He concerns himself with a client's overall health, as well as their dental health.
His pricing is very reasonable. I know something about that too.
Last but no least, he & his staff make me feel like part of the family. They are genuine, lovely people, every one of them.

The best dentist in hickory, McAllister Dentistry has always acted professionally, courteously, and with the highest level of focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and care. They have always answered all my questions and is never to busy for me and my family. I would highly recommend anyone to this dentist.
