Food Lion

Food Lion Center Street has one of the nicest groups of employees I've ever dealt with. At the helm most evenings is a young man named Christopher. He is the epitome of what any store would want in customer service. I've seen him do EVERY job from the service counter to checkout and even cart service. His great attitude and ready smile make it a joy to shop this Food Lion. I drive past 3 grocery stores to shop here including another Food Lion.

Good selection of groceries and pretty clean/well organized. Check out usually goes fast too.

I stop here all the time to pick up a few groceries. Prices are within reason, and they always have good produce and meat prices.

This Food Lion is my favorite of them all in my area. Always friendly and know where everything is at.

I use the Viewmont Food Lion To Go service literally 4+ times a week. I am always pleased with the groceries I receive, especially produce! Most places give you the squash that rolled off the truck, but I can always count on getting good, fresh produce every time. Especially when Andrea is shopping for my order!! She is extremely friendly and helpful, and always has a bright smile on her face when delivering groceries.
Recently some of my items were forgotten at pickup, I called, spoke with Andrea - she was very apologetic, even though I had no problem coming back to get the remaining items --- Once I arrived, she brought the rest of my order out to my car AND a beautiful bouquet of flowers (that I had not ordered) but simply because she felt bad about me having to come back to the store. I, literally teary eyed, said thank you and then praised her for how amazing she is at her job and how much I appreciate HER! She's awesome y'all!

I love this place, the manager is very helpful and goes the extra mile for you. The deli women are very friendly, the atmosphere is just so inviting. Like you want to come back.

Fast, fresh clean store lots of produce and meats.

This is my favorite grocery store. Fantastic selection and variety, coupled with good prices and great sales. It's like Goldilocks's "just right" in the grocery store category. The produce is always beautiful, the meats are plentiful and appealing, and the grocery and dairy sections are great. The employees are friendly, helpful, and generally seem happy to be there. I really like shopping here.

One difference after my most recent visit was the guy dust mopping the floor who paid absolutely no attention to the fact there were many customers in the store and actually seemed irritated there were people in his way. He was actually hot on my heels as I walked down an aisle. I felt like I couldn't stop for items I needed. He was the same just a few minutes later when he brought out the mopping machine. Other than that, I still like shopping in this store.

Well stocked, great that it stays open until 11pm still when the rest of the world shuts down at 9. That is a HUGE plus. Easy to navigate, checkout process was quick. Prices were reasonable

Great sales all ways friendly

Very courteous and helpful. Never shopped the store, but an assistant manager helped apply for my discount card to receive coupons. Definitely a store for those who need to watch their spending.

Weekly shopper!!! Close to home! Everyone’s always nice. Prices are fair to most grocery stores.

Store was clean and had what we needed. I loved food lion from when I lived here and this is my aunts local store and she frequents it. The prices are always great! And the employees we encountered were very nice though it's so hard to communicate or understand what anyone's saying with these mask requirements but that's not the stores fault at all!

Found some good deals in the meat & dairy sections. All the employees were very polite and helpful. This trip, I needed a bit of help and I got it with no problem. I even received help taking my groceries out to the car. It was no problem..small talk and a smile to top it off..🙂

First let me say this is the best grocery store around, whether you want to run in and out, or shop all day.. the store is always clean, the employees are always friendly, they always have the best deals, even with the coronavirus they have been the best stocked in town,, and they make life super simple.. I have been running errands since about 4 this morning, and since I was behind I decided to try their new "to-go" services, boy was I pleasantly surprised, Kristine compiled my order, brought it to my vehicle and loaded everything for me. I continued home to drop everything off, and got a photo from my husband showing me all the "little" extras that accompanied my order... thank you Food Lion #97 for always going above and beyond for your customers. You are all awesome..
