Excellent service and the amount of food you get is worth the money

A really good place to go and get fish and the food is really fresh good family environment and the staff are really nice to so if you haven't tried them yet go and take the family you will not be disappointed I plan on going back again really really good place so go and check them out

the broiled dorado on the specials board caught my eye on the way in

i was impressed with the grilled & broiled menu; their broiled snapper, broiled scallops & broiled shrimp were REALLLY GOOOD !
(& caused a cat fight when i got home with the doggie bag > they've never seen scallops before)

i enjoyed my salad
AND cole slaw
(yeah im one of THOSE)

AND
it was a table consensus
that these are the BEST hush puppies of the places we "usually" visit around the area

i didn't snapshot any plates
but the broiled color WAS photo worthy
(you wouldn't of seen anything anyway under that mountain of fries on the platter)

our waiter was most proficient & extra helpful with menu suggestions

This isn’t just a fish camp! The seafood is great, but their daily specials and Sunday brunch are like eating at grandmas table. (That is if your grandma was a master cook of comfort food). Today I had the fried chicken, sweet potato soufflé and rice and gravy. My date had the flounder sandwich and Mac and cheese. Our food was great. Our service was great. The owner came to the table to greet us. Couldn’t have been better! Keep up the good Work Captains galley!

We had a sweet young lady named Erica for our waitress. She was polite, attentive, and patient. The food was excellent. We had the trout with fries and Cole slaw, and even though my wife and I were sharing, we couldn't finish all that was delivered to our table. I guess we have lunch for tomorrow. I won't hesitate to return the next time I'm in the mood for fish. I hope that when we go again, we get the same waitress.

Everything was awesome. I hope to go back soon. Considering we had 25 or more people and the service was great. The manager was very caring. Even handing candy to the kids. The waiter and waitress handle out order with care. And all the food came out together fresh and hot 🔥

The food and service are excellent. Very diverse menue and reasonable prices. The reason I gave it 5 stars is that the food is always consistent. The food is excellent every time!

This was my first time going to Captain Gallery and Seafood. I am so glad that my cousin Tracey invited me to eat there. They have some great seafood. I will go again soon. The waitress Kim was fantastic. Thanks for such awesome service.

Great staff and the owners are so humble and caring. I brought my family here to enjoy a nice Sunday meal visiting from Charlotte NC. We enjoyed the service and the food. Definitely recommend to anyone to enjoy

My first time here. Staff was pleasant, lots of fish options and healthy sides to choose from. Had the pollok and flounder. It was very delicious. Excellent portion size for the price. Will definitely come again. Highly recommend it.

We hadn't ate at Captains Galley in probably 10 yrs ; it was surprisingly delicious. I would definitely say they've up their game with a cook that knows what they're doing and a very attentive wait staff . We'll definitely be back.

Great old time fish camp. I love how every table gets complimentary hush puppies. I would recommend. I just wish they were open for lunch more than just Friday and Sunday.

The seafood was delicious along with the fried chicken and hush puppies Waiter and waitress was extremely nice and did a wonderful job. Excellent atmosphere!

Very good food and service! Popcorn shrimp was excellent. Our waiter Anthony was super nice and checked on us frequently. We will be back!

The food is great and a reasonable price. The sweet tea was on point. The waiter was amazing, I can't remember his name but I think it was Anthony. Finding good servers is so hard to run across, he didn't under or over on anything and if you know what a good waiter is, then you know what I mean. If I could have left him a better tip I would have. I personally loved how they do themes for the holidays, I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

There is no better place in Catawba County than Captain's Galley for old-fashioned fish camp style seafood. Service, quality, service -- always consistently top notch.

Food is great. They have a big variety. The place is clean. The people are friendly.

The restaurant was great. Only problem was we didn’t get our marinara sauce with our cheese sticks. It took forever! You would think that they would have replaced the cheese sticks because they were gone by the time they got back with the marinara lol. We also didn’t get our tartar sauce for the fish or our cocktail sauce for the shrimp. A good thing was they brought us a picture so we didn’t have to wait for our drinks.
