Applebee's Grill + Bar

Today we was seated with Sierra. Due to her excellent service and attitude I felt as though she should be recognized! She was very kind and happy to have a conversation as well as make recommendations on menu items! We appreciate her kindness and service! Our food was also very good and served in a timely manner! We are very happy with our visit and we'll be back!

The food was very delicious. Service was very good. There was not a very long wait. And we were surprised to find that they were having a by one Burger get another Burger free special for Monday night.

Tyler S is so amazing!! He was an amazing server/bartender and our food was hot and delicious! Definitely returning not only due to the tastes, but b/c you can tell Tyler S. cares about his job and the people he serves. Wtg!! 😊

We love coming here. We went last night and had excellent service. I can’t remember the guys name but I couldn’t ask for service any better. The food was good, very prompt. Never had to wait on drinks. Never had to ask for refills. Big props to management. This place can handle big crowds at any time. Very impressed. Seemed to be very clean. Great experience. I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Lisa was Amazing! She greeted us immediately, brought our drinks right away, and the food was hot and delicious! A great deal and a great server!

Clean and neat. Melissa our waitress was super polite and very good at her job. Food was good. I got the sampler (the appitizer) for my meal, husband got burden bacon burger & 1 tea was and 1 chocolate molten cake $36.

Every time my husband & I travel to the mtns on I-40 we stop at Applebee's in Hickory NC -we always see if we can sit in Lisa's section. She's been our server many times now and she is the best !! She is so diligent with her customers and always smiling and asks about our families & how everyone is doing ! One thing we know is that she is dedicated to her guests and is a Dallas Cowboys fan! Applebee's is lucky to have her on the team for this long since so many these days don't want to work or show up for work. Go Lisa !!! The funniest thing she ever said was her daughter said just because her mom was short didn't mean she was young---we still laugh about this .

The food was good. But our table ordered drinks from the bar and it took so long to get them. They told us it was shift change, it look like they were in their own world, not tending to the waitresses waiting.

Just so you know, I have not been a fan of Applebee's in a very long time,( i have never eaten at this one at all) so I typically avoid it when we are selecting a restaurant. At the request of my peers, I joined them for dinner at Applebee's the other night, I was over the top impressed with the service, the food, the atmosphere etc. Our server, I wish I could be sure of her name, I think it was Hailey, she was the best server I think I have ever had, anywhere!!! She made sure our food was right, kept our drinks FULL! Our food was on time, we were fed while we were making our selections, she made our celebration dinner even more happy. I will be eating here again, and I am hoping we get that beautiful server again- I will def go out of my way to make sure we do. Oh and- it is whole family friendly, including wonderful vegan options!!!

Got to spend my birthday here today! Our server Lisa was amazing and really made it a special meal for us. She picked out my birthday desert and it was perfect! Thank you Lisa!

Update: 2-22-24 - My boyfriend and I went for lunch, asked for Tyler because of our previous experience with him. The sweet couple eating next to us heard us request him and told us they did too. They said that they have came in when Tyler wasn't working and they would never do that again. Our order was perfect and the service amazing.

Tyler is the best waiter. He gave me the recommendation for my food and it was awesome. Super glad you guys were able to get the A/C fixed.

Awesome experience.Food was excellent. The $1 Margaritas were tasty. Our waiter Shaun, fantastic.
During the reopen process with Social Distancing and half capacity in place, our car wait was minimal and they texted our phone to let us know our table was ready. THANKS again Shaun for the great service!

Great food and service. The patrons sitting near us were a bit inappropriate and loud with their conversation but it didn't ruin our meal

It was great and my blue long Island ice tea was fan-tabu-lous

The food was delicious and the service was good i didn't have to wait on anything I would go back there again

Applebees has always been one of my favorite places to eat but today was even better due to our awesome waitress Marykat. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed before we realized we needed it. Great service keep up the good work Applebees.

Lisa by far is the best server I have ever came in contact with at any dine in establishment. Highly recommend you try to get her section when eating here.
