Full of flavor! Everything we ordered is jam packed with flavor! A must try while in Asheville. There was about an hour wait but well worth it. Definitely a must to get their mimosas. Cute atmosphere with home grown veggies. Every single thing we ordered was delicious and service was superb!

Great food!! We went for a Sunday brunch. Waited an hour to get seated but it worth the wait! Got a Delicious homemade Bloody Mary with the French toast sandwhich. Food was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend if you are in this area. The parking situation was tough. Great service. Cute outdoor area. Dog friendly.

The absolute BEST breakfast my family has ever had. Fried green tomatoes are amazing, Bloody Mary was delicious and fun, shrimp and grits was delicious, and the huevos rancheros with black bean cakes was out of this world!! Our waitress was great and even wrote a list of places to go to in town during our visit. Everyone in the kitchen seemed to work really well together and everyone seemed to enjoy being there. Great atmosphere! There is even a little garden to walk through while you wait, which is great for families with kids like us.

Asheville is teeming with great, hip brunch spots. This was one of them. Beautifully plated food, cruelty free coffee, homey atmosphere.

You'll get greeted with a big bright smile, offered to take a mug and help yourself to the Venezuelan coffee. Twas once a cold November that I trekked into the Sunny Point Cafe, expecting some amazing breakfast, and how it delivered.

The nacho dish with a multi-layer bean dip with some local jam I'm sure, was a great thought out appetizer. Next, I got the Croque Madame, something that's rather difficult to find apparently in most breakfast spots, and I also got a chicken biscuit all served with a side of home fries. There was never a lack of seasoning, nor avocado in any dish. I felt the love, and I felt the selflessness that comes with all of these hip places.

No wonder why this place is so popular, finding a parking spot was definitely a struggle. Which was probably my only complaint, they are too popular that it became a problem! I almost gave up dining here, but glad I persevered!

Sunny Point Cafe offers a charming experience in a small cafe setting. Parking is limited to street spaces, with just 4 spots in their lot. Overhead heaters provide warmth, and the service is excellent. We enjoyed the Avocado scramble and Egg Sandwich, both of which were delightful. The scramble was particularly tasty. The Fall Fizz mocktail was amazing; I liked it so much that I ordered another. Despite the limited parking, this family-owned gem was bustling. A great spot for breakfast, and I'll definitely return on my next visit to Asheville.

Had to seek this place out as per recommendation. Great breakfast. Nice little place. Seems like a lot of locals dining. Good sign. The omelet was super and their biscuits are way worth trying. Next time in Ashville we will return.

Just wow!! Stopped by here for some early breakfast and I couldn’t have been more pleased!! Our server was great, she was very attentive and on top of everything. The food was sooooo delicious!!!! The sausage and biscuits might have been some of the best I’ve ever had. And the best part, they have a huge garden right next to their restaurant that they grow and use produce from. It’s open to walk around in and is very peaceful/relaxing. If I lived here, this would be my go to for breakfast every single morning. Definitely recommend!!!

Breakfast was delicious. Started with a carrot hot cake and then Fall Omelet. Grits were amazing, thick and cheesy. Their spicy sauce was delicious, had to buy a bottle to take home.

This place was excellent. The server was very friendly and helpful. Food was top notch and came out quickly. If I had to complain about anything it's the minimal available parking. Just a warning, their sandwiches are massive.

Well worth the wait! We came with a group of 6 on Sunday morning and had about an hour wait. We spent the time grabbing coffee at their place next door.

Once seated, our service was perfect, the waiter was very attentive. And the food was fantastic. We had fried green tomatoes, biscuits, kids French toast, chicken biscuit sandwich, and a chicken waffle sandwich. The flavors were amazing and we also purchased a jar of their homemade jam to go.

We enjoyed brunch here recently. A nice variety of brunch options… each of our family were very happy with their food and creative drinks. It seems to be very popular place on weekends.. we waited an hour plus but it was worth it. They had some pleasant outdoor waiting areas including a fabulous garden of flowers, herbs, etc. which eased the wait anxiety. Overall, a very delicious brunch. I wish the prices could have been a little less, but were probably the same as most popular Asheville restaurants.

Incredible food and overall menu. I wasn’t in the mood to drink, but their drinks looked amazing too. Our waitress was incredibly kind and made the whole experience even more fun. Wish I could remember her name! Loved my grits and breakfast omelette. Parking took a second to find, but we figured it out.

Great spot for breakfast and brunch if you’re in Asheville. It’s family owned and run and has been for 20 years. They have a garden on site you can walk through to see where they grow their farm to table ingredients. I recommend the carrot hot cakes!

Edit to my previous review- My husband and I went to breakfast this past week. Our server, Jesse, was so nice and made incredible recommendations. We had chicken and waffles and juevos rancheros. They were both incredibly tasty! The juevos rancheros were hands down the best I've ever had. I would gladly eat these every morning!

The bathrooms were very clean, and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual breakfast. Sunny point is a solid choice.

Also, I have been incredibly impressed with their management. This is a family owned small business, and they truly care about the customers. You are supporting genuinely good people trying to do the right thing. I was really impressed with their honesty, and I will gladly support their incredibly tasty business! Thank you Sunny Point!

Prior review- I've been here a few times before and have had a good experience. So, I wanted to bring my brother and his family here while they were dropping by the area. There was no parking, so we walked for a while in the very cold weather with 4 small kids in tow. Not great, but ok.

Then we get there and are told they don't seat parties of 8 and they can not accommodate us unless we are at 2 different tables across the restaurant. Whattt???? I've never heard of such. She said it was "their policy." I wouldn't have been able to visit with my brother as he was passing through Asheville, so we left. I'm super disappointed. I felt like we were singled out because we have 4 small kids. 😒 biscuithead was a huge hit, though!

The seating is a bit crowded but you can understand that when you taste the food. It is great. There was a 20 minute wait on a Monday morning. I had the Crab Benedict and it was delicious. Service was excellent and fast. There were people with children but I would not have taken my children. I didn't think there were child type items on the menu. This is a more upscale cuisine.

From Michigan and passing through. Came across this little gem of a Cafe. Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Environment was amazing. Specialty coffees available. Parking is something to be desired though. Would definitely come back next time through.

The wait on a mid-morning Saturday was was about an hour and 15 minutes for 2, but we toughed it out due to the excellent reviews across multiple platforms. It was definitely worth the wait!!! There were small details such as the goat cheese with the friend green tomatoes or carmelizing the bacon on top of the shrimp and grits that elevated already flavorful menu items. I also appreciated our waitresses recommendation to get a biscuit to enjoy the extra gravy with the shrimp and grits. I will definitely return!

My husband has not stopped talking about this chicken and waffles for 5 years and today he finally got it again and it did not disappoint. My vegetarian biscuits were INCREDIBLE. We waited a while to be seated but was it so worth it.

Buckle up kids because this is going to be a long one and you SHOULD make it all the way to the end. This little gem didn't even pop up in the top 10 when I googled breakfast in the Ashville area and I consider that to be one of the greatest travesties of all time. It is HARD to get excited about a two egg breakfast but let me just set the scene. My wife and I arrived, she miraculously chose to sit outside (she is always cold) and the magic started to happen. The environment was amazing. While we waited for our food, I saw staff members everywhere. A lady was picking fresh flowers which was down right picturesque. I saw them picking fresh fruit from their garden planted 6 ft from me. Another staff member was just picking up small pieces of trash, making it clear of any and all debris. It really showed how much the staff cares about the place. The plates arrived and I was dumb struck. The presentation was ridiculously perfect. I was instantly excited. The fruit, the sausage, the eggs the BISCUIT! The fruit was so frigin' fresh, the sausage HAD to be fresh made, the biscuit was one of the best I have ever had. The house hot sauce was absolutely amazing and the staff.... had me wanting to move to Ashville. The blackberry jam had me giggling it was so good. My wife LOVED her chai but was obsessed with the stuffed French toast and it was CRAZY good! I have a picture she didn't want to me share because she was taking such a large bite it was embarrassing. The food was great, the experience was the real gem here. I can't recommend this place enough, don't miss it if you are in the area. WAIT in line, it's worth it. Best part.... cheapest meal I had in the area all week. It broke my brain.

The huevos rancheros easily EASILY hopped to the top of my list of best breakfasts I’ve ever had… and I LOVE breakfast. Wow. Delicious. So tasty. So cute. Such an amazing little spot!

Make sure to walk through the garden if you have time!
