Henry Fork River Park

Great place to walk, run, or bike for exercise on a paved path as well as train, practice, or play all types of outdoor sports on the open fields. There are places to sit and listen to flowing waters for meditation. Picnic tables to eat a lunch or snack. If walking a dog, they have bags and cans to pick up and dispose of the waste. Clean and well maintained place for everyone to enjoy.

Topped notch facility, nice soccer complex with several turf and grass fields. Also a small play area for the younger kids not playing soccer.

We love this park! They have a small playground for Littles and a regular playground. They also have vending machines and track.

A terrific facility. Unless soccer is a major activity in your family you may have missed this one. Great walking path around the entire park. River access for kayak and canoe paddlers! Picnic tables and grills!

Great place to walk. Has two playgrounds has unlimited soccer fields to play. It's a really nice place.

Great recreation park if you are looking for soccer fields. Plenty of parking and restroom facilities. Playgrounds for the kiddies and a small jogging / hiking loop that runs along the river. A good place for ball games and or to take a stroll of have a picnic.

Such a great place to practice some sports with family and friends like soccer running walk around or bicycle or just to have a quiet and peaceful time with yourself, my kids love this place and they want to go all the time here

Great place for a flat walk and….probably a great place to play soccer. The only negative is inconsiderate pet owners not picking up their pet’s waste.

Nice place to stop close to the interstate. Good walking path, lots of soccer fields & the kids play ground. The bathroom was clean & lots of parking. What is the big wooden thing?

This is my very fave Park nearby... the walking track is great cause its alongside the water and always re-energizes me while I'm getting some exercise...

More of a soccer park but still has a few play grounds. Bathrooms VERY CLEAN!!!! There is always someone caring for the grounds. They also have a canoe access no swimming. Several walking paths and drink machines out side. Really nice quiet park

Big park. Clean restrooms. Beautiful grounds. Lots of parking.

We love taking long walks around the huge soccer field. The walking track is paved which makes it easy. It borders the river, so the view is great. They have restroom facilities, too. And lots of paved parking spaces. There's a canoe/kayak launch area as well. Very enjoyable to take a picnic lunch & sit at a picnic table in the shade.

We love taking our dogs there. Wide open areas for our dogs to exercise and explore.

Great place. Lots of activities, fishing, canoeing, walking trails, picnic, soccer, and more.

If you are this close you need to visit the Hunger Games movie set location. Its about 5 minutes away. you can Google it. The Henry River Mill Village (or "District 12") a ghost town. Old planned community with its own textile mill, dam, water , and company store. The Textile mill would give out coins that were used at the company store. The Old Original buildings remain sited along a small gorge of the Henry River, about 75 miles east of Asheville, near Hildebran, NC. The abandoned homes are dangerous inside due to collapsing floors - so definitely just look from the outside! See many of the buildings along the road. (Exit 119 off I-40 - then go south about 1/2 mile to Henry River.)

Started playing soccer for the summer 2023 season, awesome place and people!

A beautiful facility with great soccer fields. It has one central covered building for restrooms and concessions, but otherwise has limited shade. Its #1 field is a beautiful turf, and all the fields play well thanks to smart crowning and good grass. I love playing out there -- just bring sunscreen!

My grandson lived the park because of the multiple soccer fields.
