Lowes Foods of Mountain View

Very cute store! A lot of time went into the displays and they look amazing! Extremely clean and organized! They also have Tesla Chargers in parking lot, very fast and convenient!

I have a new favorite local food chain store and this is the one! Lowe’s Foods located at 2631 NC Highway 127 S in Hickory, NC has tremendous selection, fully stocked and many unique offerings not found in other food stores. Their fried chicken is phenomenal. Bakery - rolls are delicious and huge. Excellent Meat Dept, and Dairy. I bought several of the Spice Bazaar spices and they are great - that brand is Lowe’s house brand but very, very high quality.
Employees were very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for anything more here - great prices too!

This has always been one of my go to grocery stores. Even before it was remodeled to the newer style, I loved this store. It's clean, well stocked, and has friendly staff. Although I'm not totally sold on the new style (the birthday cake, the chicken at the deli, etc), I'll still always stop in when I'm near to find the deals and greet some of my favorite people ("Shuff" in the meat department is great - go by and have him help you find exactly what you need for your cookout!). This is the spot for finding those unusual ingredients you’ve read about. Stop in and look around to be inspired to make gourmet dishes!

I had such a wonderful shopping experience yesterday! Dylan was making pasta and he was the nicest guy and letting people try pasta and it was the perfect day for that a man named Billy even helped me learn how to make the lobster I bought the day before they were all so kind I can’t remember the other persons name but they were awesome employees I hope Lowes knows that they are lucky to have such nice and friendly helpful employees

We stopped in to pick up a few items and couldn't pass up the deserts. The bakery was actually closed so we decided to accept defeat. We then spoke with a nice lady and she said be glad to get what we needed. Bonnie came to our rescue and got our dessert. They always provide good quality and great service.

Cool store with everything we needed, and some unique things I didn't expect. It was like having a grocery store and specialty market combined. All very near to your house. I will start shopping here more often when I come r to my brother's house.

I Love the store. It has a little bit of everything. When I needed help finding something I asked someone and she knew exactly where it was. I love the selection of wine, it's one of the largest I've come across.

Impressed with this store! The selection is great, the staff were tremendously helpful even during the thanksgiving chaos, sjelbesnwere fully stocked which was a nice surprise and they even have a wine/beer bar for "taste testing" 😊 Will definitely return

I called and ordered a cake for my daughter's 8th birthday and we were very very impressed.

Love this store and the staff in it. Produce always looks fresh. The deli is top notch. My son looks forward to visits with Early(lord I know I misspelled his name). They have a bar!!!!

Best customer service. Shout out to Courtney. All the management, front end staff, grocery, deli and bakery are friendly and professional. What's important to me is how they take personal pride with enthusiasm doing their job. Even when busy. That's what makes a huge difference between grocery stores.

It has its own beer tasting or casual drink station. The guy there was very knowledgeable.about his venders and types of beers that was offered. It was probably the cleanest store I've ever been in ! It was my first time going to that store but it is a favorite of my friends whom I went with. It was made a point that I should go to this cool store! And I loved it!

I felt like a kid in a candy store. There was so much to enjoy!! The deli/ bakery had so many good things I wanted it all!! The produce looked great the pick and prep was great!! Wanted more than our family could eat! The fresh milk was a hit in glass bottles!!

This grocery store is always a pleasure to visit. It is remarkably well-stocked even through the pandemic issues. Local items are specifically marked and abound throughout the store's departments.

Cleanliness is top of mind for employees and the entire store. A great example is that no one wears a stained apron or shirt.

I have read some comments that their prices are higher than other stores. On the surface that's somewhat true, but planned shopping - watching incredible sales, using coupons, and observing the daily specials, seem to make my receipts reasonably comparable for much better quality.

Lastly, the most important thing about this store is that every employee seems genuinely happy to work at Lowe's. They gladly help in or out of department and there seems to be a lack of 'drama found in most retail.
