West Asheville Park - Gassaway Field

A good park for few families and not that very big but still very much fun for the kids and also hosting's birthday parties me and my family

Was an awsome experience . Nice Baseball park. Great atmosphere, good food, great entertainment. Really got the kids involved. If you like Baseball it's a good place to go

I live literally directly across the street from West Asheville Park and it's the cutest little park, perfect for my 3 yr old to play on for hours! They have swings, 3 different size slides, and it's well kept, bathrooms are always very clean and not a far walk away. When field games are going on, the concession stand is open with a good variety of snacks, and at an actually decent price! Just all around great, family/kid/pet friendly park!

Great place to play with your friends and family. Close and convenient location to all of hopping Haywood Rd.

I had not visited this park in a couple of years past; so I decided to walk my sister's little dog Tosha to this park from my mothers house and we had a wonderful time there. Met some friendly people who also had a little puppy dog in their company and the two dogs had fun playing together for a short time. After the people left the park with their dog, me and Tosha walked over to a nearby stream and we chilled there just soaking up the sun leaving my worries behind for the time being. I would come to this park again and again once it gets warm.

I was raised right up the street from this park. It holds a lot of memories for me. It is great for spending the afternoon with the kids., family get together, family base ball games, walking your dog etc. I love it there.

Lovely park with a baseball diamond, playground, meandering stream, covered pavilion, picnic tables, & washrooms.

Real good spot to swim in wash clothes play fish cook whatever it's far enough away from the Hussle and buddle you shouldn't be bothered it's seculated so if you and the girl of your dreams wanted to( you know ) have fun no one would say nothing.great place for a cookout and a few cold ones.

This was a great find, the park has alot of things for the kids to do, including a little Creek to play in and a good sized playground! The park is a little hard to find, bit that is great because it isn't over crowded!

Peaceful, quiet, public park. Very safe and clean! Love hearing & seeing the wildlife, and people! A "sanctuary" for birds too!

I love this place my little one happy playing there.

Have been here multiple times this summer. Grounds are usually well maintained and facilities clean. Great place to meet for groups and family friendly.

Awesome park with a great playground for the kids and a well maintained baseball field. I play kickball there and love it!

Nice family park. Never seen any bad things happen there and I go there at least 3 times a week. Usually I see the same people there all the time.

Probably my favorite city park to scene and dream in and teach the killer bandaid crews in and discuss life's weather patterns in and imagine freedom in. WAP! Taste it.
