Sona Pharmacy

I am so grateful for Sona Pharmacy. When there was a medication shortage recently and the larger chain pharmacies were unable to fill my son's prescription, the pharmacists and staff at Sona came through for us. There is always a smile, a warm cup of coffee should I need it, and almost all of the vitamins and supplements that we take as a family. If you've been thinking of switching pharmacies, definitely switch to Sona! You will honestly wonder why you hadn't done it before.

All are wonderful here. Only exception, 1 of their pharmacist or register/drive-thru employees (not exactly sure). Her name starts with a K. Every encounter I have with her is dreary, negative, and rude. The exact opposite of how the rest of their staff act and operate.

Nice pharmacy/clinic. Snacks and coffee/lattes/bottled water while you wait. Received covid booster at my scheduled time immediately. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Priced for prescriptions are equivalent to other locations. Much nicer than my previous pharmacy which shut down recently.

The best pharmacy in our area hands down. Even the employees here rave about the difference between this independent and well managed pharmacy and the typical chains. Clean, well run, attentive service, great selection of merchandise.

Wonderful delivery service. I moved to area a year ago and transferred prescriptions to Sona.

My favorite drug store EVER! So customer-focused. Great facilities. Even offering food and beverages and a comfy place to wait complete with TV!

I absolutely love this pharmacy. They show how much they care in everything they do. Their landscaping is mostly native plants, they sell healthy snacks, many of which are locally produced, and it’s clean, quick, and pleasant. It is no more expensive than other pharmacies. This place is a breath of fresh air.

Sona has been my go-to pharmacy for years. Their pharmacists have been really helpful with making sure my meds & supplements don't conflict. I don't drive so their free delivery service has helped me out. 10/10, highly recommend!

First time using Sona Rx to fill my prescription and was served by pharmacist J.H.. The customer service was top-notch and I was pleasantly surprised. At first the cost of the drug was an issue, however, with Ms J.H.'s insistance, she signed me up for a manufacturer's coupon and I ended up paying nothing out of pocket. This shows me that Ms J.H. knows her stuff. She even advised me there's a free deliver on my type of prescription so I could order online and have it delivered since I had to drive nearly 30 minutes to have it filled. Overall great job, and even better customer service.

Sona Pharmacy is wonderful!! We use the free delivery option since we aren’t nearby and our driver Brittany is top notch. She has come for every delivery so we have gotten to build a relationship with her; she’s always smiling, very friendly, brings our doggies treats, and is a joy to talk to. Sona Pharmacy is very very lucky to have an employee like her. Thinking of moving all of our prescriptions to this pharmacy since they’ve been so fantastic. The Fairview Rd. location staff has always been exceptionally friendly and accommodating as well. Thanks!!!

Sona has been unfailingly helpful in the many years I have used them. The pharmacists and staff are always responsive when I have questions, and I appreciate the reminders I receive. I have not yet used the delivery option, but knowing it is there is very comforting. Sona is so professional in responding to phone calls and personal visits, unlike most drugstores. The atmosphere in their Fairview Road location is very welcoming, and I always feel valued.

In an earlier review I noted that I had a not so great interaction with a staff member at Sona and decreased my rating from five stars the three stars. However, a short time after, Aaron, the store manager had reached out to me to address my concerns Which I thought was extremely professional has most if not all the staff are here. I understand that they often deal with frustrated customers, and sometimes that could be projected onto others. I would highly recommend this pharmacy, especially over many of the other pharmacies local to this area.

The absolute BEST pharmacy ever to deal with. They have been taking care of us for years very professional always do what they say they're going to do. And go above and Way beyond your expectations. They have delivered to us for years and we live far away and I would never think of going anywhere else for a pharmacy all their employees are fabulous. We won't go anywhere else. PREVIOUS REVIEW 2 YEARS AGO: There is not enough room for all the positive remarks I have. The staff to a person is friendly and engaged - it is clear that they enjoy their positions, which says a lot about the company. Best of all is its delivery service, a great boon to me as I am frequently unable to get out. The driver, Jimmy, for my area is outgoing and always helpful. Sona is fortunate indeed to have all of the in-store staff and him. I do not hesitate to recommend enthusiastically Sona whenever the opportunity arises.

I am new to Asheville. And I've never (and I mean never) before come across a pharmacy quite like Sona. They are very kind, helpful and just all around amazing. Their employees go above and beyond. And if you are at all like me, and not able to get out, they deliver! I appreciate each and every one of you.

I have been with Sona for a year now and absolutely love them. The pharmacy staff is very helpful with any questions and my favorite part is the free delivery service, it’s not just mail order it’s for everything. Every time a get a new drug from my doctor it’s at my house by the end of the day or sooner. I love this feature bc if you are sick who wants to go to a pharmacy? You feel terrible and you are spreading the sickness by going to the pharmacy. This way you can focus on your health and getting better while they bring your meds to the door.
