Haw Creek Animal Hospital

I have been taking my 11 lbs schnoodle to Haw Creek for 6 years now. They have always been honest, professional, upfront about costs, and friendly. I have always had positive experiences and while there are vets closer to my house, I will continue to bring my dog here for care.

We take both of our cats and our beloved pup to Haw Creek, and couldn’t be more happy with the services they have provided us with. We’ve been using haw creek for over 5 years now, and wouldn’t dream of switching. Whitney at the front desk is the friendliest face you’ve ever seen, and is always happy to answer any questions that I have. Dr. Feiler and Dr. Holden are our two faves. If you’re looking for a compassionate and kind experience, with doctors that really care about your animals - Haw Creek Animal Hospital is the place.

After an emergency visit to MedVet at 4am Sunday morning, my dog Teddy was seen the next morning on an Emergency basis by Dr Holden as a new patient. I wanted to have him checked out after he had been prescribed a Nsaid med four days earlier for a problem he didn't have by another local vet and developed vomiting and bloody diarrhea. MedVet gave him a shot for nausea and some additional Rxs.
Dr Holden reviewed the orders, expertly examined Teddy, and recommended he not take one of the inappropriate/too strong meds…and added two other Rxs that are calming to the GI tract.
This is a vet practice that presents experienced practitioners and vet techs.
I am confident that my pet Teddy will be receiving the most appropriate medical attention as we trust Haw Creek Animal Hospital with his care.

Best vet ever. They always take such good care of my beloved snake and treat her like their own beloved pet. I am extremely satisfied with the level of care that they provide here.

When our dog was sent home for hospice we found Dr. Sinclair. She was willing to take the time to research all the previous treatments and surgeries and come up with a plan that possibly could help. He made it though and lived another 3 years in great health until he got lymphoma at 14 years. Dr. Sinclair was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. We can't than her enough.

All points of contact were excellent. Front end staff is friendly, courteous and quick. Technician Uma was is an excellent listener and swift to screen the needs. Dr. Holden is just fantastic! Not only is she a sharp diagnostics, she also educates pet owners. I would come back here again and I would recommend Haw Creek Animal Hospital.

I highly recommend Haw Creek Animal Hospital. My puppy cut her shoulder and had to have staples. Not only were they friendly, they were very patient and Loving and caring towards her. I can't remember the lady's name that helped me when I first got there but the veterinarian Dr. Holden done an amazing job cleaning and stapling it back together. The attached picture is totally healed with staples taken out. 💜💙💜💙

10/10. Went in for a somewhat emergency on a Saturday with my 4 lb dog. Dr. Cox (I believe) was incredible with her, as well as Angela and the rest of the staff. They fit me in, but took their time and my dog was feeling instantly better.

The Dr was extremely friendly, calming, even sat on the floor with my small dog so she would be less scared. For under the skin hydration, four kinds of meds, the exam it was $222. That is extremely affordable. I would 100% say go to this vet.

They have taken get care of our pets. They have done a great job. We just lost one at 18 yrs old. Thank you for giving him that time.

Wonderful place to bring your pets! Everyone is so kind and warm. They were amazing with my 2 Pitbulls ❤They are also available to pet parents after hours, which I love!!

First time at Haw Creek Animal Hospital was great! My dog Lucy is a new patient and I’m a new resident in Asheville. Dr. Holden and her technicians were very kind and caring. They took plenty of time with both of us. I was a little concerned about the busy highway just a few feet away from the entrance, but overall 5 stars!

We just relocated in Asheville and in need of a new veterinarian for our pup. Our last vet was amazing. We were happy (and so was our dog) to meet our new team. Dr. Holden was caring, knowledgeable, and welcoming, asking us all the right questions. Her team was excellent.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Vet created a repore with me and, of, course, admired my cat. Care was excellent all around.

My Simba had a injury over the weekend and I didn't have a veterinarian for him until today. I reached out this morning and they told me they could get him in if I brought him within the next 45 minutes. We made it and everyone, the lady at the front desk, the vet tech and the veterinarian were so amazing ❤ Thank you all so much for your help. I will definitely be back and start bringing my Maddie girl too 🙂

AMAZING Care for my furry and feathered family. Have had several emergencies with my pets and they have been able to work them in, with minimal wait. They are in business for the right reasons...the care of the pet. Have brought my dog in for some bleeding injuries, a duck for a fox attack and a goose for a bobcat attack. Dr. Sinclair is a great, compassionate bird doctor, which a bird vet is hard to find in the first place. The prices compared to other vets for emergencies is crazy expensive but haw Creek doesn't make you decide on fixing your pet or feeding your kids. So glad I found them. Transfered my dog care to them and have saved at least half on my yearly checkup and shots. Can't say enough good things! Thank you for being their for my animal family.

The vets and techs always go above and beyond to make sure my dog is cared for properly. I moved out of the area a few years ago and will still drive an hour to take my dog to Haw Creek. They’re the best.

Have been using for 5 years and have been a valuable asset for my dogs well being. Professional, prompt appointments, and a genuine compassion for animal care.
