Orbit DVD

I have never visited the physical store (I will if I am ever in the area), but have placed several orders through their website. Every single time I has been a great experience.

First, their fulfillment time is the quickest I have seen out of all the physical media sites I order from. As far as I can remember, my orders have all shipped by the next day at the latest.

Second, my order is always accurate, packaged securely, and delivered with some cool stickers the adorn the side of my movie shelves.

Also, if you ever have to reach out to customer service, they are quick to respond. Just a nice bonus to the experience.

I can't say enough nice things about them. If you can't visit them physically, do yourself a favor and check out their website and, perhaps, support them by ordering a few things. You won't regret it.

I can only speak for myself but Orbit Dvd is one of my favorite businesses of all time, I've not once had a single issue. Before I discovered Orbit I was ordering films from overseas because I had no clue a business like theirs existed, Orbit has made things so much simpler. Orbit post all preorders months ahead of time so you always have plenty of time to place your order, I literally check the website multiple times a day. Also everything I've received from Orbit has been in perfect shape, I say that because sometimes you'll order something from other companies and it looks like it was driven over by a truck before they shipped it. Orbit wraps everything safely, the prices are always very good. I can't say enough good things about everyone at Orbit DVD, give them your business and let them prove it. I follow this awesome store on Instagram. I love their online store and have purchased many movies through their website. The store is very cool. You can choose from new and used movies and games, a wide variety of imports and rare finds. I was so happy to finally visit their store in person.

I love this place’s selection of books! If you’re into horror, occult, mythology, or film you won’t leave empty handed. Their book selection includes titles from Valancourt and the British Library, and they carry zines like Hellebore, Weird Walk, and Hwaet. They even had one of Ronald Hutton’s books, an automatic 5 stars for me. Also a great selection of movies, including Criterion, Studio Ghibli, and cult classics. I’m glad a store like this can still survive in Asheville.

Absolutely one of the best DVD stores I've been to in the country. So much good selection and at an extremely reasonable price. Everything is mostly in near perfect condition. They have a large selection of posters and other things for any movie lover to enjoy. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite stores I've ever been to. An absolute must-go in West Asheville.

Great video game selection for both new and retro consoles. Evan was very friendly and knowledgeable about their inventory, which made it a pleasure to shop here. I would definitely recommend checking this store out if you're looking for retro games in Asheville.

I finally got a long awaited chance to visit Orbit DVD today.. I can say it absolutely did not disappoint and lived up to all my expectations! This place has all the fantastic boutique label Blu-ray releases and much more! I could have spent hours in this store. The staff were also extremely friendly and more than helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Orbit DVD for all the physical media collectors like myself.

Excellent boutique retailer. Best selection of 4k imports that I could find anywhere online. Shipped my copy of The Others studio canal 4k perfect arrived flawless excellent packaging. Highly recommended.

There are not many local video stores left in the world. This place is much fun. They have a great selection and the staff is friendly and happy to make suggestions and talk films. They also have used movies and video games and comics and board games. Used board games!!! I've never seen that. While we were there, recently, they filled us in on a membership deal where you pay a few bucks and can have one movie out at all times. Way good deal. This is a great way to support our local economy and keep West Asheville fresh. Skip that box and the illegal free streaming and head over to Orbit!

I NEVER write reviews but this place was truly great, the staff was so friendly & excited to talk about films, & they were super helpful with recommendations & helping me find what I wanted! 100% going back when I can, the selection was great & it was just overall a great time, plus I got to talk to them about Killer Klowns from Outer Space :)

If you're a Gen-X'r or a Millennial in the Asheville area and haven't been to Orbit DVD, you have to go see what you're missing. Its especially geared toward horror fans. And if you love for nostalgia, it's there it in heaps.

One of the best video/video games stores in Asheville. We stop here very frequently to buy games and such due to the wide variety of games and consoles they stock. Todays list was skylanders stuff. We stopped in to buy a few games and characters for the games and the wonderful people there told us that they were trying to get rid of the skylanders stuff due to it taking up too much space and that we could just have the games because they were gonna be discarded anyways. They let us look through the small stack of games to be discarded and let us choose a few. Me and my girlfriend had our days made thanks to this wonderful store and staff. The only game store in Asheville that will ever get my money now. <3

OrbitDVD is the best video game store in Western North Carolina. You will not find a better one. OrbitDVD is however, not just a video game store it also sells DVDs. They have the most diverse collection of horror DVDs I have ever seen! If you're a horror fan or video game fan this is your place!

We happened upon this store on our way to the retrocade and decided to check it out. It’s really cool, tons of different movies and VHS tapes. They also have a lot of interesting books and decorations. If you’re into weird stuff or the occult especially, I would stop by. I was worried at first about my kids seeing something inappropriate for them but the…adult content is put away in a box which I appreciate! Nice place for sure.

This place is great. Awesome selection of vintage and current games, consoles, and handhelds. Cult classic films and memorabilia on the opposite side of the shop. The staff is always friendly and helpful too.

Really good store, with plenty of older games and movies. Their prices are pretty fair to good and the staff is always friendly.
