Havertys Furniture

After many years of trying to spend as little as possible on living room furniture we realized we get what we pay for. When it came time to purchase new living room furniture for our home we wanted to be wise with our money and make quality a higher priority. After asking friends and family about their furniture purchases we decided to shop at Havertys first. Wow. We have been missing out! The store is well-organized and clean. Margaret Silver greeted us and welcomed us to the store, but did not come across like a pushy salesman ... we so appreciated that! She was available for questions and helped educated us so that we could make the best decision for our family. We settled on 4 pieces of furniture for our living room (a 7' sofa, a coordinating chair, a wingback style arm chair, and a fabric storage ottoman). We spent around $7-8K on the pieces which was much more than we have spent on furniture in the past, bust still less than more expensive retailers. We've had the furniture in our home for a few months now and absolutely love it! Where our former furniture pieces would have already been breaking by now, these Havertys pieces look and feel new still! You can bet that we will be giving Margaret and her team a call should we every need more furniture. Beyond pleased with our experience.

Both the sales people (Kelly & Holly) and the design woman (Debra) were very helpful and patient with all my questions. My husband & I were having a very difficult time finding just the right recliner for his wants, and hopefully we did that. As a large piece of furniture ( a new sectional) is a huge investment, I'm trying to not rush into making a decision, and hopefully these ladies will help me get that right too. The furniture at Haverty's seems high quality (time will tell), and I appreciate having several options.

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience in working with Kelly and Debra. We first met Kelly who showed us around and then let us explore on our own. She would come and check on us and answer any questions that we had. Once we had made our selection on a sectional, she brought Debra in and they were able to help us pull a design together for our living room. We are forever grateful to them both for helping transform our living area into a beautiful area.

We walked into the store just looking for ideas and Margaret Silva helped us achieve exactly that, and more! We were/are very pleased with the shopping experience, options available, the pieces we selected & purchased. Looking forward to having them delivered!

Karin Romps was super helpful and creative! She was able to meet my needs and show me things I haven't thought of.

To give our experience one word : amazing. Debra was a literal God send to my wife's design concerns and completely removed all anxieties with coordination and design of our homes furniture needs. Furthermore, Debra continually aided in the design of our homes color selection to even then coordinate with the furniture we had picked. We had no idea that Havertys could offer such a complete design process, even more so that was complimentary !! We felt loved and beyond helped by Debra and the design services she offered to us, which included a 3D review of our home complete with furniture and accessories. We valued the time she dedicated to us. Kelly is an amazing consultant as well and we have nothing but great things to say about her also.

Our salesman, John, was wonderfully informative without being overly pushy. I usually get stressed over large purchases but it was a pleasure shopping at the Asheville Haverty's

Holly May was very helpful even tho I’m several months away from purchasing furniture. She’s a good listener, took her time and showed me what I was looking for along with various options. A great experience.

Margaret Siler did a great job of taking care of us and answering all our questions. She was friendly and professional. We appreciated her kindness and honesty. She is very good with people and really knows her furniture.

Granted, we had done our homework, so had a very good idea of what we were looking for. But I was quite pleased with the quick attention and no "upselling" but good answers to my few questions. Bought two mattresses for good prices and receive four pillows for free. In and out in about 15 minutes!!!

We shopped at the Asheville Haverty's store, looking for a new couch. The sales associate, Margaret, was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us. Haverty's is a first-rate furniture store and we recommend them highly.

We sold our house in Banner Elk along with most of our furniture. We are building a new house. Although we had our house decor/colors selected, it was somewhat overwhelming having to purchase new furniture. Kelly (salesperson) and Deborah (Interior Designer) were absolutely great. It did not take long for all of us to acclimate to each other. Initially, Kelly walked us around just talking and getting to know us. Once we got ready to purchase, she brought in Deborah who really helped us with some great ideas. As we started selecting/purchasing, they both looked out for us regarding on-going sales and in-store deals. Great people there. Highly suggest.

I can’t say enough about the great service we received from Debra, Judy and Kelly at the Asheville, NC location. After a year of the stressful process of building our house it felt amazing to see it all come together with the wonderful design that Debra created for us. Their high quality furniture has turned our house into a home!

What a fun shopping experience. Margaret, the sales woman who worked with me, was super knowledgeable and helped me figure out what I needed for the budget I was working with. Not pushy at all, just an all around positive experience.

They treated us like VIP's every time we went in the store. Allowed our pup to come in as well. Nothing but good things to say about our experience with the Haverty's staff. Kelly and and Debra worked with us on our design, never felt rushed.
