I am reviewing the photo studio in j.c. Penney Asheville on tunnel road. Photographer did an excellent job with our group portrait for 6 people. We had a very crabby toddler and a 6 year old with us yet the photos turned out quite well. Truly a miracle! Thanks to the hard work of the photographer!

I have been shopping at JCPenney for over 50 years. It's still one of my favorite places to shop.

A easy access to the downstairs entrance or around back with good parking for the entrance to the hair salon..
Escalator was broken so we walked to the elevator to go to the second floor for mens items and curtains. Not as many check out stations but, the parking deck is right by this check out. The second trip we took, we parked at this location. A GREAT ADVANTAGE...

I went by to return a few things that I had ordered online. The online experience was good but the associate that helped me with my return was FANTASTIC! She was so nice!! I will definitely shop there more often specially after having such an amazing experience at the store!

I had to do a return from an online order, received great service from attendant at the checkout upstairs. I wish I would have gotten her name. I love JCP and hope it stays as an anchor at the mall for years to come. Great products, reasonable prices, friendly customer service!

I love my stylist, Will, who is very talented and experienced. Very easy scheduling and loads of good hair products for sale at the salon. Awesome close parking at the Penny's rear entrance. Penny's store has come alive in recent weeks!!

Upstairs esculater not working but elevator is close.

It's wonderful to go into a box store and speak with the representatives who are there to help you. I do order certain items online simply because I can't seem to find what I'm looking for in stores and the store doesn't actually have it. I think it's a shame that's so many of our small businesses are closing due to online ordering, so thank you for the experience I had just walking around looking at items as opposed to scrolling on a screen

Kathleen in the jewelry section is just so sweet and helpful. She made our shopping process easy and enjoyable while getting us a really good deal on the perfect ring. Thank you Kathleen!!

Love JC Penneys and glad they didn't close in Asheville. Customer Service woman as u walk in and needed help was very rude. Woman on 2nd floor that has pkgs for pick up was the best. Nice n even walked me to elevator. I gave 5*s because all except that woman were nice

This is a very well organized conveniently located penny store. I love the fact that it has also the back entrance which makes it easy if you need to run in and out. Services wonderful and sales are great as always!

JC Penny is a nice store for great bargains. I found the employees at this particular store to be very helpful and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find wide widths on the women's shoe section! Go for it. Give them a visit.

Brandy at JCP Asheville Mall made my shopping experience exceptional. During the shutdown I have gained weight and was trying to pick up several pairs of jeans to accommodate! I had total knee replacement and with my jacket, face mask, and purse, I was having a difficult time navigating the store. Brandy noticed I was struggling and brought me a buggy. She also gave me the totally awesome news that a dressing room was open to try clothing on! When I was ready to check out, I got in Brandy's line. She explained how much I could save by opening JCP account which I did. During the past year it has been hard to find a clerk who was friendly much less go out of their way to make shopping experience fun again. Brandy is like a breathe of fresh air.

They have limited entry and exit points and have sanitizer available, as well as reminders to distance. Employees are all masked. Found just what we wanted for back to school, great sales.
