Cute eclectic coffee stop. Fast service. You’ll have to park a bit away. Lots of beautiful art to buy at a fair price.

What a weird and delightful place. (As a weird person, this is an utmost compliment). We actually aren’t coffee people but we loved breakfast and the dog visitors. Fun merch, great atmosphere, make sure to stop in!

I love stopping here when visiting from Atlanta. I usually order a dirty chai but their other beverages are tasty too. The art for sale is always worth the visit. Get a sticker at least!

The parking lot fills up fast so I usually park illegally across the street. Be careful crossing the street due to traffic and no cross walk. Shopping in West Asheville down the same street is also really fun and there's ample paid city parking lots once you know what they look like. They have food options as well that would be quicker than the long waits at local brunch spots, but I've never eaten here.

Very cool old school coffee shop, 90s style, nothing pretentious and trendy, the type of place I’d spend an entire day at in high school. Great coffee too. Amazing merch.

The best outdoor seating of any cafe in Asheville in the Fall. There’s a beautiful tree out front that turns all red.

It’s a great, reliable spot for locals year round too, with friendly and welcoming baristas.

Tiger Bay Cafe is the restaurant in the back, which is separate from Battlecat except that they share a space. You have to place orders online for Tiger Bay Cafe. Pro tip: order online before leaving the house, then go by Battlecat- get your coffee, and walk to the back of the place to grab your food. This way you won’t have to wait. They’re busy on weekends.

Very good coffee! I am a bit of a cod snob but I really enjoyed my cup of coffee. I will definitely be back when I am in town. A really funky spot to fuel up and do some thinking.

Do you know those times when the coffee is so good it stays with you for the rest of the day? You keep thinking about it and are almost afraid to go back fearing that next time it will only be really good and not amazing? That was my experience this morning when I got a cappuccino at this fun, eclectic coffee shop.

First off, it was a true cappuccino, not just a latte with a little less milk. And the foam was perfect. And most importantly, the espresso was amazing.

Their Spicy Mocha is pretty amazing. The atmosphere is really chill. Great outdoor seating options. Cool place to check out if you're looking for a good coffee shop.

Lively and unique atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious coffee. First time visiting and I got a lavender dark chocolate mocha - it was delicious and like no coffee I’ve ever had before! Would definitely recommend and go again.

Love Battlecat! As a traveler from a place that spoils me with boutique coffee around every corner, Battlecat doesn't disappoint. Good, strong, smooth, unburnt cold brew.

First time at BattleCat loved the frozen green tea! Simple, smooth and delicious. Will definitely be coming back. All the wall artwork is awesome as well.

Gets super busy on the weekends bc of the cafe (food is ordered through another business) in the back so make sure youre either early or ready for the crowd.

Coffee/espresso is on point and the staff are very quick even with lots of orders.

Overall a great coffee place in west asheville.
