Angel Vass is one of the most amazing hairstylist I've ever met in my life! I've never experienced a shampoo, haircut, an blowout like hers ever in my life! She gave me exactly what I was looking for! When I got out of her chair my hair was silky and smooth! I will definitely be back for more! Thank you Angel!!! We had really good conversation as well! She's a Jewel ❤

Went to Ananda west for the first time and was happily surprised by the clean, gender affirming, inclusive & welcoming environment. I was given a quick tour of the salon and then offered any of their variety of drinks, tea, coffee wind or beer. I grabbed a yummy cup of coffee and was then seen by Lindsey, and received hands down one of my absolutely favorite haircuts I've ever had! I have plain long hair and was hoping for a fun textured cut ✂. We decided to go with a long shag which turned out amazing!!! I couldn't be happier. Lindsey listened to what I wanted and was a delight the entire time. I'll be back again soon!

I absolutely love going to Ananda downtown. The space is super modern and comfortable and I love their products and displays. The person at the desk was friendly and efficient. I met Sloan outside of the salon and recruited her the minute I put eyes on her. She is so sweet and friendly and her hair is so cool, I thought I have to get her to do my hair. It totally paid off! Had a cut and tone, she did a great massage and I truly love my new do! Thanks Sloan!! 😘

Jane is THE BEST!! Been coming to Ananda for years. I will always miss my old stylist that had to leave Ananda. However, Jane is kind, knowledgeable & transformed my hair! I LOVE it & look forward to having her color my hair again

Kendall gives me a super cute cut! Plus she shapes it so well it lasts a long time without looking ragged. Her eye for color is great, the glaze and highlights look natural, although she can do colors like green, orange or purple if you want! AND she’s a lovely person.
Parking is free at Ananda West. They offer a selection of teas, coffee, water and wine. Great place!

Just luv my hair and you really made my day brighter. It was such a pleasure talking with you. It helps so much too tell someone my plight and know they care. Also stopped off to get gas and bought a scratch off lottery card and won $100. What a great afternoon. Can't wait to see you again. I highly recommend Ananda West and Michelle is superb. Charlotte did such an amazing job on my wedding hair and Jonathan with my makeup, as well my bridal party! Charlotte turned my vision into reality and was so fun to chat with along the way. The space is very Asheville, very cool, and the staff easily accommodated us when we brought in lunch and champagne. Would highly recommend! (Pic is from my trial, waiting on day-of pics)

I really appreciated how much time and care went into the shampoo! Haircuts are a luxury service for me and it felt great to be pampered. Nadja listened to what I wanted and delivered. Most of all I appreciated not feeling pressured to keep up with small talk. I’m pretty introverted and that can be a lot for me. It felt good to sit there and enjoy and not feel like I was being rude for not starting a conversation. Nadja was recommended to me for this reason in particular by my boss! Thanks so much for a great experience. The space was small and intimate, with parking on site which is a huge plus!

Danielle is always amazing! She leaves my hair looking beautiful every single time I see her. She’s great with color and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist to keep their color looking fresh and gorgeous. I look forward to coming back to see her!

Anna does incredible work, and I love that her pricing is affordable. People ask me ALL THE TIME who does my hair because the color is so beautiful every time. She does "balayage" for me and it is so low maintenance. I only get my hair done twice/year. That is how long it lasts. She is also so kind and wonderful to talk to. Highly recommend!

This studio/salon is amazing!! I saw Sara Ashlee for a much needed hair trim and shaping for my long hair. She made a magical transformation on my hair!! It’s now shiny, bouncy and healthy again. I am so excited about seeing her again soon, for color!!

Absolutely love coming here to get my hair cut by Anna. I really don’t think I will ever go anywhere else as long as I live here! Her personality, the quality of her work, and all around amazingness are always so appreciated. Have gotten my hair cut by her multiple times (including for my wedding!), and have never been disappointed. A very fair and good price for a great salon experience!

Love,love! Charlotte is the best colorist I have personally ever seen. My Mom and I have been faithful to her twenty one year's now. Both salons are relaxing and decorated beautifully. Going to see Charlotte is always a joy and a special treat. And you leave feeling gorgeous.
I almost forgot, she gives us both fabulous haircuts. Highly recommend to everyone!

I just got my hair cut with Madison and she was so great. I think she did a great job with the cut and styling afterwards. But my favorite part was how kind she was. It was nice chatting with her and it made for a really great experience. I’m usually the type who prefers that no one talks to me while I get my hair cut and that was my favorite part this time. Aside for the small talk and hair cut, she gave some nice practical advice on growing out my hair and keeping it healthy in between hair cuts. I will be requesting her for my next haircut!

I had an awesome experience with Amy at Ananda West. I have curly hair and have had a lot of bad haircuts in the past. Amy was confident and knowledgable, and took the time to listen to what I was looking for (as well as my concerns). She did an amazing job on my haircut, and even took the time later that week to have me back in because I found *one* piece of hair that needed an adjustment. She was all around a good time, and very considerate. This place is a little pricey (for me, at least), but if you have curls, going to Amy is worth it! They also just switched over to an hourly-based pricing system, so tip is included, which is helpful.

Ananda West is hands down the best salon I've even been to. All of the stylists are very talented and friendly. I love that they call take continuing education so seriously. You can definitely tell in the quality of work. Ronnie was able to get my hair the exact shade of red that I wanted. The atmosphere is great too! Very artsy and interesting and I love that they offer beer, wine and coffee. All around great place!

My first impression was outstanding! I was greeted as soon as I walked into the salon with a friendly smile and an offer of several complimentary beverages. My new stylist, Kendall, was genuine and attentive! He did not rush me through our initial consultation and made me feel totally comfortable. I absolutely loved my cut and style! Kendall really listened to my concerns and desires for a new updated style and he was spot on with the style that we decided on. I HIGHLY recommend scheduling your next haircut and style with Kendall!

From the very first phone call to Ananda Hair Studio I have LOVED it. They matched me with Laura Anderson based on my hair needs/wants...and let's just say I love her:) I recommend her to people all the time! Everyone I've interacted with have been exceptional! The atmosphere is artsy and relaxing and I look forward to my appointments every month!
