It is hard to say in words how much I appreciate, respect and adore Kerry and the incredible work she does! I worked with her weekly through the third trimester of my second pregnancy. With my first, I saw a different Asheville pelvic PT and realized the benefits of PT, but that was nothing compared to the incredible skill, wisdom, intuition, dedication, and engagement Kerry brings. She is truly next level! She gently and thoughtfully guided me through profound healing in my body, mind and soul through her work with me supporting my pelvic area and all that connects. I had some complex trauma from my first birth and she helped me heal from it, integrating those experiences, releasing them from my body, and processing them with so much love and care. As a clinical psychologist who works with mothers, infants and complex trauma, I know how tricky, deep and layered this type of healing can be and Kerry helped me navigate it with grace and confidence. Week by week she astutely assisted me in addressing pain from sitting and working, aches and discomfort that arose due to hypermobility, and every challenge I faced. I felt held, supported, and incredibly prepared to address every single challenge that arose. For many reasons this birth was so much shorter, way less painful, and truly healing but I am certain Kerry was a big part of that. I used the tools she taught me leading up to and during labor & delivery with incredible outcomes. My labor went from 26 hours total and 6 hours of active pushing to 12 hours total and 7 minutes of active pushing! My postpartum healing this time was so easeful and I feel strong and resilient having given birth during the day with tons of support and ease. I worked very hard to make this happen and had a beautiful team of supports this time around and I am tremendously grateful to Kerry for being a critical part of that team! I cannot more highly recommend her! It makes sense why her schedule is so full, but I encourage you to plan ahead and get on her schedule if you can. You won’t regret it! I can’t wait to go back to see her for postpartum support and know it will change my health outcomes longterm since birth has such lasting impact on women’s health through life and she has the skills, insights and awareness to shift cycles and support healing in deeply profound ways. Thank you Kerry! 🤍

I am so grateful to have found Kerry during my pregnancy! I had been suffering from pelvic pain from the beginning of my second trimester and she was able to work with me to figure out the root causes of my pain. I really appreciated that she took the time to examine my whole body, not just the areas with pain. Thanks to her guidance and expertise, my pelvic pain was very minimal by my third trimester, and I have been able to stay active all the way up to the end of my pregnancy.
Kerry is so knowledgeable and really made me feel educated about the importance of pelvic floor health in pregnancy and postpartum. She’s also a very kind and compassionate person - I always feel very safe and comfortable with her. I feel lucky to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone experiencing pelvic issues!

I started seeing Kerry when I was 9 weeks postpartum after a challenging birth. Her kindness, compassion, insight, knowledge and expertise soothed my fears and helped me build back my bodily comfort. Her approach- both trauma informed and person centered- felt soothing and deeply empowering. When I return a year later for some flare-ups, Kerry worked with me to find the root of my concerns, address them and give me skills to ensure they don't return. I could not recommend Kerry any more and believe she is the gift every person who has birthed a human deserves.

You want Kerry on your team! I was completely clueless about my pelvic bones and muscles before I met with her. After two sessions I feel so much more prepared for birth. Kerry is incredibly thorough, nonjudgmental, and encouraging. I'm already looking forward to my postpartum assessment with her. She makes me feel so supported!

Kerry is a wise, highly trained, compassionate, intuitive, and exceptionally kind physical therapist. She was able to help me understand root causes of and find ways to heal from decades of lower back pain. I highly recommend Kerry to anyone seeking PT, particularly for any issues that you know or suspect might be related to your pelvis or pelvic floor.

I especially appreciate that she is willing to work in collaboration with other providers you may already be working with on your own healing (when appropriate) and that she is so clearly committed to serving her patients. She listens deeply and puts great care into ensuring her patients feel comfortable throughout PT sessions. She honors and fully answers all questions and is never dismissive of your experience of your own body or any concerns you may have.

I found pelvic floor PT after giving birth, but I wish I’d given this a try decades sooner. It’s been a game changer.

I've had multiple sessions with Kerry during pregnancy and I am so happy to have found her! I have found her essential to preparing my body for labor and postpartum. While I had specific issues to address - a coccyx injury resulting in tight sacrum and some urinary leakage, I would recommend all people to connect for a session with Kerry to get in touch with your pelvic floor. I have been given tools to reduce pain, feel prepared to work with my labor and even been given great tips for making sex better with my partner while taking care of my pelvic floor ;) I really believe every person should learn about their pelvic floor and get in touch with it for overall health, especially pregnant women prior to birth. I look forward to going through Kerry's postpartum therapy too and making sure my body recovers and heals well from labor. SHE'S THE BEST - GO SEE HER!

So grateful to have found Kerry for Physical Therapy! I was referred to another physical therapist in the Asheville area and realized after a few weeks that what I was doing in sessions wasn't really pelvic floor PT at all ( really just basic back rub?). I was feeling discouraged and wondering about the legitimacy/usefulness of pelvic floor PT in general when Kerry was recommended to me. SUCH a difference! Truly life changing results for me in one session.

I couldn't recommend Kerry more! Like others have mentioned, she is both a knowledgeable practitioner and a compassionate human. I went for a few specific pelvic concerns. Not only did I see improvements in those areas, but she also helped me with soreness in my hip and knee. She deepened my understanding of the body as one functioning system. Kerry also guided me to tune into my own body in ways I hadn't been able to previously. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to work with her. It was worth every penny.

Kerry is so kind and knowledgeable, she creates a very safe and comforting environment especially when dealing with pelvic floor area. Highly recommend for anyone pregnant or in postpartum, she will blow your mind with so many helpful tools for basic living. She really takes the time to make sure you understand and have realistic suggestions that you can follow through. Also really love her app that has the stretch/exercises videos that make it easy to remember.

I had two prenatal appointments with Kerry and her enthusiasm for educating me alongside the work of evaluating my needs and creating a clear, manageable plan was so awesome. She helped me develop a new understanding about old injuries and a way deeper appreciation for the intricacies of preparing for labor with muscle coordination and breath-work.

Unlike other physical therapy I’ve had for sports injuries, meeting with Kerry was like an incredible synthesis of massage, a good yoga class, a TED talk, and a birth coach. I’m looking forward to doing postpartum work with her too!

Kerry is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and really breaks down things in a way that makes it easy to understand and implement changes/shifts in your life. After leaving your appointment with Kerry you will have learned so much about your own body and how it works. I was so blown away after my session with Kerry! She is able to dial into your body and really get to the root of where an issue lies. For pregnant and postpartum folks her understanding of the body will change your life before or after you give birth! Thank you so much Kerry!

Kerry is a warm, nuanced, and holistic practitioner. After several unsuccessful attempts elsewhere, she was recommended to me during pregnancy for debilitating SI pain. She thoroughly reviewed my history and symptoms before quickly diagnosing the issue. The relief I found was quick. I continued to work with her to prepare my pelvic floor for delivery and saw her post-partum for diastasis recti and overall strengthening. Pregnancy is a time full of unknowns and Kerry’s reassuring presence and diligence in finding and solving your problems is a relief. And when I no longer recognized by body and its capabilities post-partum Kerry helped me find my way back. She approached all my issues holistically, taking into account both physical and emotional components. It is truly a joy to work with her, and she is the reason I feel confident and happy with the way my body works now.

I decided to try pelvic floor PT at 23 weeks pregnant to be proactive prior to birth. I had no major issues and only some mildly annoying tailbone pain at the time. Kerry did a thorough assessment and some releases on my low back, ribs, tailbone, and pubic bone and the relief was instant. I had also been doing regular chiro, acupuncture, and massage as part of my prenatal care and while the adjustments and releases during pelvic floor PT were more gentle and subtle, the impact was immediate and much more noticeable. I am SO glad I went to see Kerry at this stage of pregnancy so I have some time to prepare my body for birth. I hope other women will invest in their prenatal self care and not wait until pelvic floor pt becomes necessary due to injury. A little bit of prevention, care, and awareness can be so helpful!

Kerry has been a godsend for eliminating my muscle pain restoring my physical strength. Leg pain had greatly reduced my ability to perform activities such as gardening, lifting anything over 10 pounds (like my one year old granddaughter) and going on hikes. She also helped treat pelvic floor issues.

Kerry takes a careful history, listening deeply. She makes her own assessments rather than depending on the assessment in a referral. She recognized that my problem was not in the leg alone, but also in the feet and pelvis.

The exercise program she developed for me, adding exercises every month or two, reduced and eventually eliminated my pain, plus increased my strength and balance. A caveat: Doing the exercises brings excellent results; doing them sporadically or half heartedly brings minimal positive results.

Work with Kerry, do the exercises and expect positive results!

I went to Dr.Tobin two years after giving birth. I was having excruciating pain before, during, and after intercourse. My OB/GYN said nothing was the matter with the stich up job from labor, but something felt off - I was avoiding intimacy due to the pain. So, I went to PT and Kerry helped me to see patterns in my life that had reached a breaking point postpartum. I have had incontinence since youth and avoided running and jumping. Turns out it's all connected. I have been practicing the exercises she gave me; mostly deep breathing and relaxing my pelvic floor. The results have been life changing!

I cannot recommend Kerry highly enough. Working with her and doing Pelvic PT during pregnancy was absolutely one of the best things I did to prepare for birth and postpartum recovery. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Kerry is incredible. She somehow manages to balance depth of knowledge with depth of care and depth of passion! Of all the medically trained people I’ve worked with, Kerry is the most present and capable, especially when it comes to holding vulnerability. She really listens to your body and encourages you to do the same. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Kerry is such an amazing PT. I’ve learned so much from our sessions and started seeing significant improvement within the first couple of weeks following her guidance. I wish all the women in my life had the opportunity to work with her!

Kerry is FANTASTIC! She totally thinks about the whole person and body, thinking about the root cause of issues. She is so kind and compassionate, and you can tell she truly wants every patient to succeed. She always makes me feel more confident in my body's ability to heal when I come in. I highly recommend!
