Stopped in after parking to attend the Carolina WBB game. Our first visit and we will go back. Great customer service and very hot beverages.

This coffee shop is absolutely delightful! The atmosphere is lovely, creating a warm and inviting space to relax. The staff members are incredibly kind and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I had a sizable order, but the staff handled it flawlessly, ensuring everything was taken care of with finesse. Not only did everyone adore their scrumptious breakfast sandwiches, but the cold and hot drinks were also a hit, satisfying our taste buds perfectly. It was truly a wonderful experience for all.

Have you ever heard of a large coffee?! How about extra large? How about a Quad?!! The Sweetwaters coffee and tea made my day with a mocha Quad and ham/egg bagel!!!! It was fantastic! Great atmosphere and sunlight! Got a pretzel spinach croissant later in the day which was delicious!!! Only thing I didn't love, which didn't apply to me was the passive aggressive sign about being sure you purchase something if you're going to be in the shop and maybe buy a couple of things if you're there for an extended period of time.... I give them grace though because it must've been an issue if they felt the need to make the sign!!

The staff is amazing here! Particularly the manager although I don’t remember his name. Always enjoyable, mostly reasonably priced, great atmosphere to chat with a friend or get work done. They let you sample coffees before ordering which is amazing

The most consistent and friendly coffee (& Tea!) shop in the Vista. Great atmosphere and central location. The staff have always been incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. The owner and staff have even made it a point to remember and address a lot of customers by name as they walk in, myself included. I look forward to every order and interaction. When I'm craving a cappuccino, this is the place I think of.

Stopped in here from out of town and got the house blend and a Mocha Ice Dragon. House blend black coffee is good and smooth. mocha Ice Dragon is smooth and nothing too strong. Great atmosphere and plenty of room for meeting up with others.

This is a great place to get some work done and grab a good cup of coffee or tea. My fiancé and I both love coming here. The last time we were in we met the owner, wonderful man. I was sad that I didn’t catch his name. Ask him for a suggestion, he’s got great taste! If you’re like me and work from a laptop or tablet, there are plenty of places to plug in. Check the floor outlets for USB chargers too! Did I mention how great the coffee and tea is? It’s amazing.

First time visiting Sweetwaters. Stopped in to get my standard, quad espresso with a splash of steamed cream. It sounds simple enough, but if the espresso is not extracted properly, there's nothing to hide it unless the barista uses too much cream, then it's a capachino,,, not what I want.
Apparently, they were having a little trouble with their espresso machine and needed some extra time to be sure my drink was right. The wait wasn't too long, and I was rewarded with a very nice quad espresso with just the right amount of steamed cream. The espresso was very smooth and nutty with a hint of berry, Well Done!
Very clean spot with a great atmosphere and wonderful staff. It is clear that your experience is important to them.
This is all I ordered so I can't speak to the food other than to say it looked delicious. I will likely stop back in later today to try out their Cold Brew.

Got a pumpkin cold brew and a pup cup as we were driving through Columbia with our dog. My drink was delicious and the pup cup was SO cute! I’m guessing hers was good because she inhaled it. Very cute place and super friendly staff!

Great staff and drinks! Mark runs this business well and hires friendly employees. Everything is clean. I love the lychee add-on for my tea. This place is my go to for a treat.

One of the best, newest coffee spots downtown. Aside from coffee, they have a huge selection of teas. I've visited a number of times because of the convenience, the friendly staff, the food, and the atmosphere.

Great place to study, I got the dreamy cold brew (cost $4.50) and bagel ($2). The service was quick despite how busy it was. I can’t wait to try more of their coffees. Highly recommend trying out!

The Imperial Black Iced Tea is the best iced tea in Columbia. So good! Sweetwaters is a great place to hang out or study -- clean, well decorated, tons of natural light. Greg (the owner) is a great guy and does a lot to support the UofSC School of Music (which is just a block away) and the university. Parking can be a little tricky there, but if all else fails with street parking there is a parking garage across the street. There are some short-term parking spots up front but sometimes people camp out in those longer than they should.

It's a very interesting experience only minutes away from the Uni. I highly recommend getting the Jade Matcha as there are not many places that offer it. The food is very good and filling. I didn't get to try the pastries, but they looked good, too. The staff and manager seemed very knowledgeable and were very helpful with picking out things that suited my tastes. They also allowed my girlfriend to try a sample of their coffee blends.

Visited this nice cafe around the corner from my hotel for a quick breakfast before my flight. They didn't have a breakfast sandwich without meat but kindly made me one anyway. My egg and cheese on a biscuit was yummy. They don't have many breakfast offerings but if you want a solid breakfast sandwich, you won't be disappointed. I also got a chai with oat milk which satisfied my chai craving! The ambiance is nice and and the staff were friendly.

Extremely kind owner. Ample seating. Beautiful ambiance. I had a delicious cortado, which not all places know how to make. Highly recommended

I was in town for a conference and this place was close by. The girls Autumn and Audrey were so friendly and helpful. One of the best Mocha Lattes I’ve had. Not too sweet, just the right amount of flavor. Very attentive when making the drinks. Even asked about the ice amount for an iced latte. They weren’t very busy however.
