Prosperity Bank

I appreciated Prosperity banks help. I had to change a small amount of money and it was 5:50pm. I went to PNC and they declined assisting at all because I wasn’t an account holder. Prosperity Bank was just down the street and was helpful in providing cash services so I could pay the individual I needed to.

Such a friendly atmosphere! Isha is my favorite teller there! She always has a smile and is happy to help

I love the tellers there. They always help me when I transfer money.

They always go out of their way to welcome me to the bank each time I go in. I like how the staff does not change. In fact Still dealing with the same people I started with three years ago. I love the small town bank feel with the big bank advantages.

Took care of me quickly for depositing inside. I do think the employees should have masks on or something for COVID-19. But as long as they keep their distance I don't mind.

Best Bank in DFW. Very personal and great for investing. Always a good place to keep your business.

I had a great experience at Prosperity Bank, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Isha. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to assist me.

Have been a long time customer here since it was Legacy but it has gone down hill. There is only one good teller and the management doesn't know how to treat customers. They made me feel like I was a criminal when trying to deposit a large check (for me). Maybe they are OK for small personal accounts, but not good for businesses.

I will not be a customer here. I pulled up to the car wash right next door and realised all I had was a ten dollar bill. Went next door to the legacy bank and casually asked them if I could get it broke down to ones. The lady asked if I was a customer there. I said no, and was immediately responded to "we only do that for customers." Now I understand cashing a check or trying to actually do banking stuff to have an account. But all I wanted was to get 10 one dollar bills. They were not busy. There was no cars in line.

Somewhat disorganized & chaotic. Went elsewhere to open a new account.

Have been with the same bank for over 20 years. Since it was Community credit union. They have been bought out multiple times and now this place is horrible. So many transactions get declined and they lock my card every few times I use it. Stay away from this bank. One star is too high of a score.

Update* Today had to take my kid to the ER. When It came time to pay what do you know but Prosperity declined the payment going through like they do way too often. I would not be surprised if this bank doesn't last much longer. It really is sad to see how far "this" bank has fallen.

Our favorite bank (FCBT) was purchased by Prosperity. We probably borrowed and repaid $30-40MM with FCBT. Once it was purchased by Prosperity, everything changed. An incredible waive of negativity and holier-than-thou enmity and unwillingness to do business emanated from Prosperity Bank. Every banker I run into at other banks warns me to avoid Prosperity Bank. I wish I felt that they cared one whit about their customers, but so far, I have experienced nothing but enmity from the new bank officers.

Wish I could rate with negative stars. Needed to cash out a CD. Started with the Plano branch, was told the person who could help me was out to lunch. Came to the Allen branch on Custer and McDermott. There was someone that could help. I was told that because it was Friday, they wouldn’t have enough money for the weekend. It was not a very large sum, and I only had a small window of time to cash it. They are a bank, hello! The bank manager was indifferent. Needless to say 2hrs and 15 minutes later I was able to get my money and leave. Horrible customer service!
