Lake Forest Animal Hospital

We absolutely love coming to Lake Forest Animal Hospital. The staff is so welcoming and always makes my pup feel comfortable. Everyone is so insightful and they truly care about my pups well-being.

Since the day I started bringing my senior cat to their clinic they have been wonderful and patient with him. Dr Sharma, Dr Singh and Dr Sommermeyer have treated him over the years. The front desk staff is amazing Marlena the office manager if very kind and always help explain things when it went over my head. This is a great place to bring you fur babies! Truly the best of the best. Highly recommend to everyone with fur babies. They genuinely care about the animals and never make you feel rushed. Great hours for those who work. Doesn’t cost an arm and a leg either. Amazing amazing amazing, i can’t say it enough.

Lake forest animal hospital is by far the absolute best. From the simplest things as dental cleaning’s or annual shots, to making the difficult decision of having to say goodbye to a beloved pet, the vets and staff here are like family. I highly recommend Lake Forest Animal Hospital. They’re kind, and take great care of the animals. They did an excellent job with the declawing procedure of our two new young cats. Our awesome and 100% indoor cars are healthy and happy. They also are taking excellent care of our 15 year old elderly cat. Check ups always go smoothly, and I never feel Ike they’re trying to oversell me on anything.

They did a fantastic job of taking care of our dog when we brought him in with a cut paw. They were very friendly, professional, and were quick getting us taken care of. Five Stars all the way!

I love Dr. Singh. All of his office staff were so kind to me. I was falling apart, crumbling right in front of them because I had to put my dog down. It was horrible for me to have to do that to Spike. I was just a mess.

I followed Dr. Singh and his staff from Parker Animal Bird and Pet Clinic because of all of the excellent care and compassion he has and not to mention that He has always been spot on with diagnosing any problems my pups have. Never had high prices on his services either!!

They wouldn’t tell me where he went so I looked for him on the Internet and FOUND HIM!!!

You feel like a part of their family. I’ve been going to him for at least 25 years. I can’t say enough about everyone there except if he is not your Vet and they aren’t your Vet Family - you’re missing the BEST/MOST CARING, COMPASSIONATE, LOVING VETERNARIAN AND STAFF EVER. His prices are extremely reasonable. You should give him a try. You will be just like me. A very loyal pet parent !!!

I kinda wish I could leave multiple reviews because I honestly feel that strongly about this vet.
I’ve been coming to Lake Forest for my pets for just under a year. And what a year it’s been. I’ve been in countless times for things as small as vaccinations and for unfortunately multiple really big semi emergencies. (4 different dogs with 4-5 different emergency type things mind you)
LFAH was recommended to me by a friend and my first visit was them managing to fit me in last second to sedate and stitch up a large hole that got torn in my dogs face. Not only did they end up staying a little later to get it done, but the stitching was so good there’s almost no scar. I have never had a vet go the extra mile like that for a brand new client.
It’s probably not worth going over all the woes we’ve faced dog wise this year, but I can say without a doubt that I can’t see myself going to any other GP vet. Not only have the treatment plans and care always been excellent with this staff, the vets are incredibly knowledgeable and we have always ended up doing only what was needed for each dog without any unnecessary chance treatments. They listen to my ideas and concerns about my own animals, and the whole staff is honestly super great to see. They recognized me from my first visit on and are always friendly and compassionate.
They’re also probably one of the only vets I can think of that will fit a walk in for a euthanasia which is it’s own kind of godsend when you have an animal that is suffering.
Dr. Singh is my vet most of the times I come in (emergencies sometimes mean it’s up to chance though) but I’ve dealt with both of the vets here and really like both of them. I trust both with all of my dogs.
I seriously cannot recommend or commend this vet and team enough.

I included a before and after of the stitching on my girls face. Plus a couple of the other pups that I’ve had to have in. Like I said, super rough year, but I appreciate my vet team immensely for it all.

The best practice. Everyone is so incredibly kind and helpful. Dr. Singh and Dr Sharma have taken care of my dog and 2 cats many times and I’ve always been happy with their care. When it was time for one of my cats to cross over, I was a total wreck as it was my first time putting an animal down. Dr. Sommermeyer and the staff were so incredibly compassionate to me and my cat and they really made the experience much less painful. I’m very thankful.

No one LIKES to go to the vet, but our furry family need doctor visits too. Dr. Sharma and his veterinary staff are top notch. You can feel how much they love and care about our four-footed friends. Professional care, excellent bedside manner, and a great portfolio of services. Unfortunately, our little guy (Taz) has some medical issues, so this won't be the last time he sees this great clinic. Also, if you see the on-staff Tabby cat, Chadwick, just say hello and offer him some pets. The clinic is his actual home, and he's super friendly. I had never had my dog around a cat before, but they got along perfectly! Chad is so playful that, at one point, he basically just ran up to Taz, playfully *booped* noses with him, and then ran off again. Highly recommend this great vet!

Lake Forest Animal Hospital is, to put it simply, The Best!
Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. The vets and staff LOVE animals and it shows.
Costs are reasonable, as well.
We love Lake Forest, and our dogs do too!

Lake Forest is amazing! They have spayed one of my cats and neutered one of my dogs. Their staff is also very kind and professional so I never worry about my fur babies not being taken care of or loved on while they are there. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Recently switched from my old vet to Lake Forest after Dr. Singh recommended by a family member. The office was easy to find and has ample parking. I loved that I was able to go inside with my fur kids; it's such a better experience than sitting in the car and speaking to the doctor over the phone. Not only was I greeted right away, but my boys and I were also taken back to the room right away. Brutus needed his blood pressure checked for a heart medication refill, and I was glad to see much newer medical devices utilized than the old vet had. Dr. Singh is very personable, and I feel confident in his ability to provide medical care for my fur kids.

Took my dog here to get neutered. Just want to say everyone there is amazing and nice. They took care of my dog very well and gentle. The environment was so clean! Also the cutest cat roaming around!

Our little baby cat, Shahzdeh, got very ill by eating a foreign object! The doctors and staff here were so kind and understanding throughout this very stressful situation. After a successful surgery, we couldn’t be more happy with our experience here!! 10/10 recommend these lifesavers

Even though we'd never been there, they took us in as an emergency patient on a Sunday morning. We didn't feel at all like they were trying to hurry us through the process to clear out the room for another patient. They were very thorough and made sure they'd answered all our questions before we left. Dr. Singh was amazing. So was the staff. We were concerned our dog was contagious, so upon entering, they took steps to limit our dog's interactions with other pets and they immediately sanitized any areas our dog had been to protect their other patients.

Dr. Sharma and staff are the best I’ve encountered. They’ve treated our dogs (and us) with a great deal of care through some difficult times and do so efficiently. 5/5 would recommend.

One day I was out of town and didn’t have all the required shots for Camp Bow Wow for my baby dog Panda Bear. Without hesitation, they went out on the field to help me in the time of need. I recommend these wonderful people to everybody!
