Tom Thumb

If I could give 10 stars I would. I've been shopping at this Tom Thumb for 20 years. It's not as big as some of the other locations but it's filled with friendly, helpful employees in EVERY department. Whether you're shopping in the deli, produce, butcher, dairy, pharmacy or just stopping at the customer service desk, there are smiling faces everywhere. I am thankful for this team and all they do to make my visits to this store a pleasant experience. To the employees, I thank you for your positive attitudes and to the managers, I applaud you for creating such a positive working environment for your team. Thank you!

I had my twins’ 7th birthday cake made here yesterday. Veronica went above and beyond to make a BEAUTIFUL CAKE!! It was for a polar bear ice skating party, and she truly created a work of art! It was a huge hit and was DELICIOUS!! We were so delighted! FIVE stars! Thank you Veronica!

This place is amazing. Fresh, clean, and organized. I saw 5 people in line once and a few moments later employees were coming out of the woodwork to open up more registers.

Lovely grocery facility in a convenient location. Prices are decent, service is friendly. A great place for all your grocery needs.

Update 4/2/2023: the sushi is the best thing ever.

I had ordered a boutonnière from H‑E‑B and was not happy with it. I called Tom Thumb on Hardin in McKinney to see if they could brighten it up. Malleus was super helpful and redid it and added ribbon like ties from leaves and brightened it with a better rose and delphinium. Very happy with her customer service and floral skills. Happy Customer!

Craig in the meat department helped save the day! I was is desperate need for a thin cut steak for my sons birthday dinner and he made it happen. Thank you! Cheesesteaks were a success!

Well done! This location is looking more and more like Market Street. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Pharmacy is top notch and the most friendly cashier, Hannah is a great asset to the store! She's always delightful, friendly and knowledgeable!

I chose to shop at Tom Thumb this Sunday morning because I wanted a peaceful shopping experience. The store was very clean with the produce section being exceptionally organized. Hannah checked my groceries and was so pleasant. It’s refreshing to have such great customer service and human interaction when competing stores are switching to self checkout exclusively. Thank you for such a wonderful shopping experience. You’ve earned my business for life.

I’m liking this place more and more. Clean. Friendly staff. Great produce! Prices on normal stuff not on sale is quite high but I only go for sale items.

This is one of my favorite places outside of my home and church. All the people are friendly. Kind, courteous, professional and compassionate. I am on a first name basis with a half a dozen or more and they're just simply good, hard-working, kind people. God does great things and that store in Jesus name

This store is smartly managed and well kept. The shelves are fully stocked and neatly arranged. The employees are friendly and helpful. You should have a good shopping experience at this store. The store provides good cool air on our hot days. Great place to beat the heat and pick up goodies to eat. The food is always fresh.

Good clean store! Certain items can be a bit pricer than competitors. However, I do like Tom Thumb or Safeway where I am from. Super glad they accept Apple Pay and the comps, I have essentially stopped carrying physical credit cards after theft and skimming.

Love this store! Always clean and well lit. On this day I did self check out and with their new scanner, I had difficulty. There was always a young lady to come and rescue me without having to wait. Bread, Meat, Vegetables are always fresh. I just wish they had Mocha Chocolate Coffee to chose from. My choice in the mornings. I do love Tom Thumb!

Tom Thumb Corporate this message is for you. I have lived here for 8 years and the store/staff has been great for the past few years. The manager, Terry always has a smile on his face and is very helpful at any hour of the day. This guy is a true leader and leads his staff by example. Overall great grocery store that is convenient to visit.

The store is always well organized and clean. However, the reason for 5 stars is due to customer service. Unfortunately I made it home with some expired products. The manager was informed and called me promptly, apologized, issued a refund, and delivered a fresh replacement. They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and taken care of.
